Is there nothing that Obama can’t do?
This group is for self-proclaimed Marxists/Communists/Socialists for the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. By no means is he a true Marxist, but under Karl Marx’s writings we are to support the party with the best interests of the mobilization of the proletariat.
That sounds like a bumper sticker!

Can Newt Gingrich run as an independent for pres ?
America might not appreciate the changes Obama has in mind for the USA.
Obama sounds to me like a cross between our late commie Pierre Trudeau and the current Yaps-a-lot Jack Layton.
At least they do not support Cuba!
Read the second entry about capitalism, and how it only works for the white male. And how capitalism steals from the poor and gives it to the rich.
Powerful endorsements!!! How can he lose?
“The members of this group are not Leninists, Stalinists, etc. and do not support or condone the actions of North Korea, China, Cuba or any other self-procalimed “Marxist States.”
They never are, but it always seems to turn out in their favor. In Canada we gradually began to dismantle our Cold War military; created HRC’s; raised taxes; disarmed the civilian population while enabling the rights of criminals; dismantled individual rights; empowered Marxist activist groups; weakened our industry; to name only a few actions by Comrade Trudeau and company.
As it is said: “those who refuse to learn the lessons of history…….”
Tents can only get so big before democracy doesn’t exist any more. People with opposite views claim the tent, or god forbid, Leon Russell shows up. Nothing good can happen when too many people co-opt the form of an assembly that was always designed for a smaller, coherent, like-minded group of people.
David Thompson wrote a piece today–
http://davidthompson.typepad.com/davidthompson/2008/07/too-much-democr.html
about democracy on the brain, about those who actually believe that the idea of world government is synonymous with democracy — George Monbiot, for instance, who wrote in the Guardian that “the best way to give the poor a real voice is through world parliament.”
DT links to “Deogowulf” who also notes the fantastic insanity of the idea of world democracy. He quotes Wilhelm Roepke: “Community, fraternity, charity — they are only possible in the small, easily comprehended circles that are the original patterns of human society, the village community, the community of small and medium-sized towns, etc. These small circles of human warmth and mutual responsibility increasingly gave way to mass and centralization…” ending in “the monster state by which, with the help of police and tax officials, our crumbling society is now actually held together.”
Then Deogowulf nails it: “If a citizen of a populous state bemoans his alienation and worthlessness therein, such being the typical affliction of a man under the impress of the mass, then he would do well to appreciate the usual source of that indignity — it lies to a great extent in the bigness of the society which his state encompasses. If such a person, seeking the alleviation of that indignity, calls for a greater state, encompassing even all the peoples of the world, then he tragically fails to understand the source of his indignity, and inadvertently calls for its aggravation.”
That, IMO, should be on every license plate. Just to counteract those bumper stickers.

All those on the left who are the front running zealots of the phony global warming hoopla are killing all of us in their suicide run against our successful way of life.
They should be charged with cultural genocide. They have already put us on our death bed with the success of the all encompassing political correctness that has hobbled our ability to even communicate with each other in a relaxed honest fashion. All speech is now filtered down to be so innocuous that is has little meaning anymore. We grunt niceties to each other and try to hide our true feelings thoughts and ideas.
Now the green giant tax that will be on everything will price our existence out of the realm of reality and we will either become just another impoverished has been nation or we will slip into anarchy in order to survive individually. Y’all might want to hang on to the old 12 gage. You just never know where this will end.
Christ Almighty Lord!! I live in Saskatchewan. This province has elected the likes of Tommy Douglas and Woodrow Lloyd. Every second store and filling station is a Co-op, and every second finacial institution is a Credit Union. You grow a bushel of wheat and sell it to a private institution and they can jail you! And you’re worried about Obama!! Could it be the water??
If I were working in the Republican party in the US, I would be creating and funding a “Muslims For Barack Hussein Obama” (that middle name’s important!). Who said “By his friends ye will know him”?
Lone Ranger -12:43 am –
In Saskatchewan – ” You grow a bushel of wheat and sell it to a private institution and they can jail you! And you’re worried about Obama
And don’t forget Nancy Pelosi’s “fair Comment” proposed law that will be effecting US airwaves and aiding Obamas leftish progressive tilt!!
Just fair warning for our American neighbours, is all.
I kinda agree with Lone Ranger. Sask is in much deeper socialist turd than the US would be with Obama. In the US, there are plenty of check and controls that will rein him in.
Problem is, the US is so much bigger and more important than Sask, that obama’s brand of marxism there will only embolden the commie idiots here.
In other words, when Obama craps the lefties in sask will lap it up, say it tastes great, and ask for more.
Ladies and Gentlemen….please stop worrying about Obama….come election day he will be soundly defeated by McCain….the media has created and enpowered this bull shitter and over the next few months people will see that the emperor has no clothes…..
Are you saying BHO is a muslim Kevin B?
I still maintain that it’s hard to know what will ultimately prove to be more disappointing for Obama supporters: his defeat or his victory.

Frenchie 77,
Right, What you see is not what you get. The opinion of Senator Charlie R, NY Dem was exactly
to that point. Same old..same old
“If a citizen of a populous state bemoans his alienation and worthlessness therein, such being the typical affliction of a man under the impress of the mass, then he would do well to appreciate the usual source of that indignity — it lies to a great extent in the bigness of the society which his state encompasses. EBD
That is very true .. but try making the same point in ~10 words or less
Useless idiots like the company of other useless idiots. Nothing added…nothing gained.
Sheer numbers tend to mask a problem and decrease the probability for a reasonable solution.
Verbal diarrhea can be used to hide shit..therefore the UN may be considered a spectators Sport.
In the final analyses all complex problems (solutions) must be reduced to a simple YES or NO…
Not a big surprise that the hard left loves BO.
After all, BO said that he would “force” oil companies to invest profits in green technology. Also, either BO or his wife said that they urged university students to “reject corporate America”. And don’t forget his long-time pal Bill Ayers – domestic terrorist and US hater.
What’s not to like if you’re a Marxist and wondering who to vote for?
Okay, Phillip: “Mongo say big government bad.”
Given that the Bush gov’t.literally uses Communist techniques in torturing detainees at Guantanamo, some of these folks would be better off supporting Bush’s protege McCain.
