As far as I’m concerned this customer has the right to complain to management about not providing a female instructor at the all female school. He has the right to tell his friends and to take his business elsewhere; and, perhaps even a refund but that is it.

If she’s gone through all the obstacles and red tape to get herself declared “female”, then that’s the way she should be treated. She’s female, not a guy wearing a dress. She doesn’t deserve the abuse the idiot husband handed out, and I’m glad her boss has stood up for her.
Human gender (y’know, male/female) is not decided by the dangly bits everybody can see (at a nudist resort anyways). Your “gender” is decided by how your brain is wired. Male and female brains are different. And sometimes people are born with bodies that don’t match their brains hardwiring. Doesn’t happen often, but it does happen.

Rick McGinnis, what it means is that “Emma” spent a lot of time living as a woman while being monitored by p’shrinks and social workers. They decided that “Emma” really was a woman in a mans body, not just some freak who got a kick out of wearing dresses.
From what I recall of the procedure “Emma” would have been required to live as a woman for at least one full year (that means supporting herself by working while living and dressing as a woman 24/7) after the p’shrinks decided that she was transgendered.
The “state” wouldn’t have changed the birth certificate to read female until all the requirements were fulfilled and doctors were in agreement.
