Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Remember Art Linkletter and ‘Kids say the Dardest Things’?
I’d love to candidly ask each of these kids:What is Barack Obama?…and have a real laugh with the answers.
Well BATB, I absolutely disagree, they (children) are being used to further a political argument in either case. Whether you do it with words or with a video, it amounts to the same thing.
As I said, it’s an attempt to appeal to emotion over intellect. I certainly wasn’t defending the crass nature of the Obama video, but I was pointing out that the views expressed in response seemed rather myopic.
There’s a fundamental difference between adults talking about the well-being of children and putting words in children’s mouths, then videotaping them spouting these adult banalities no child would EVER say.
blue tech: I really love your idea: Ask these little zombies “What’s a Barak Obama?” (some of them couldn’t even say his name).
mirror?
The video has gone missing. Can someone post the actual youtube URL? Kate can you start doing this regularly?
