  2. Well BATB, I absolutely disagree, they (children) are being used to further a political argument in either case. Whether you do it with words or with a video, it amounts to the same thing.
    As I said, it’s an attempt to appeal to emotion over intellect. I certainly wasn’t defending the crass nature of the Obama video, but I was pointing out that the views expressed in response seemed rather myopic.

  3. There’s a fundamental difference between adults talking about the well-being of children and putting words in children’s mouths, then videotaping them spouting these adult banalities no child would EVER say.
