Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
I suggested the little swine be taught about the Muslim atrocities in India that lead to the creation of the Sikh religion. You know, then compare their numbers to Adolph’s. Maybe that way they could at least learn some respect for German engineering.
Otter beat me to the Turkish slaughter of the Armenians.
Failing that, there’s the ever reliable 2×4 to the a$$…
‘yellow crescents.’
*sighs* what BullShi’ite. Hitler admired islam… although my guess is, should he have won the war and his 600-year plan been implemented, eventually even arabs / muslims would have ended up on the chopping block.
But not before they served his purposes.
before we make the mistake of reacting in out of hand condemnation of Muslim -Jew relations we may want to dig into history to find whaty it is that antagonizes both Torah Jew and Muslim alike about Zionist politics.
Perhaps the cultural “hatred” is actually disdain and perhaps it is focused at noxious zionism and not “Jews” in aggregate.
There is certainly enough disdain for pernicious zionism within the Jewish community that it is understandable some outside would share this opinion.
Not every negative remark about aggressive zionism is a hate crime against the Jewish people and not every criticism of zionist politics can be branded “antisemitic”.
Most Jewish people are not responsible for the many offences of militant zionism any more than most muslims can be held responsible for the crimes of Islamic extremists and terrorism.
Here’s a web site I found had some good resources in understanding radical Zionism and learning how to separate fanatic zionist politics from Torah teachings and religious Judaism:
http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/
An interesting fact revealed in the site’s writings displays the inhuman calculating compromise that extremist Zionism makes in the face of raw anti-semitism….political zionism has repressed many Jewish populations and voices with its heavy handed controlling agendas.

WL~ four quick questions for you:
1) Are ALL Jews in Israel Zionists?
2) Are the ONLY Jews ever killed by islamic terrorism, Zionists?
3) How, EXACTLY, does one tell the difference between a Zionist and any other Jew?
4) And what makes you think most muslims even care?
WLMR: the fact is that prior to Israel, Jews were persecuted to a greater or lesser extent EVERYWHERE they lived. Zionism (providing a homeland for Jews) arose as a solution to this.
In free Canada, we have people who think our armed forces are mercenaries. Free societies allow cranks. Jews allow people like those at the url you provide.
Just because the Arab League objects to the existence of a tiny Jewish state does not mean they should be taken seriously. They’re not reasonable about much else either.
I understand that a new history paints Zionism as evil, but why the hell should I believe that? The same people that provide that history can be caught twisting present day events and are hardly credible.
All the impulsive zionist vindicators can get all their derisory questions answered on the links I provided (from a Jewish source and perspective)….READ…then comment.
Jews Against Zionism is an irrelevant fringe group. They make much of opposition to Zionism by earlier generations of the Soloveichik family but fail to mention that Meir Soloveichik is a contributing editor of Azure magazine, published by the Shalem Center — a fervently Zionist organisation.
But at least MLMR didn’t cite Neturei Karta (“Guardians of the City” in an extremely reactionary brand of Hebrew), who are also anti-Zionists. They are also quite insane.
‘All the impulsive zionist vindicators can get all their derisory questions answered on the links I provided (from a Jewish source and perspective)….READ…then comment.’
Hmmm. What can one do with that. How about…
All the impulsive Christian vindicators can get all their derisory questions answered on the links I provided (from a Christian source and perspective)….READ…then comment.
All the impulsive non-racist vindicators can get all their derisory questions answered on the links I provided (from a non-racist source and perspective)….READ…then comment.
All the impulsive Duke University Lacross players vindicators can get all their derisory questions answered on the links I provided (from a white lacross players’ source and perspective)….READ…then comment.
… didn’t think you could answer a few simple questions. Ok, I shall answer them for you:
1) Are ALL Jews in Israel Zionists? NO
2) Are the ONLY Jews ever killed by islamic terrorism, Zionists? NO
3) How, EXACTLY, does one tell the difference between a Zionist and any other Jew? They Can’t.
4) And what makes you think most muslims even care? THEY DON’T.
Which is why muslims have been murdering Jews world-wide for decades, even Centuries.
One last question, wk~ why do you hate Jews?
just on lunch at work right now, so don’t have too much time. Like Charles MacDonald said, Jews against Zionism are a tiny fringe. There are many many orthodox fully observant Torah Jews who are for the existence of the state of Israel and serve in the IDF (I guess that would define them as Zionists).
check A brief history of Jewish anti-Zionism
(Jews Against Zionism)
http://www.zionism-israel.com/his/jewish_anti_zionism.htm
“Jewish anti-Zionism has always been the most effective weapon in the hands of the enemies of Israel. Anti-Zionists are happy to quote the protests of anti-Zionist Jews that Zionism is apostasy and anti-Semitism. They omit other parts of these texts, which often show that they were based on fatuous fears, reactionary and oppressive religious ideas, and discredited racist biological theories. They neglect to note that the militant anti-Zionist Jews always represented a small and ever-shrinking minority, and that they today consist of a tiny handful of very vocal polemicists, whose views are magnified and echoed by anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic journals and Web sites. Writings of anti-Zionist Jews are often trotted out in revisionist (Holocaust denying) and neo-Nazi articles and Web sites, where they may appear alongside the writings of Adolf Hitler and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, offered as spurious “proof” that the the philosophy on offer is not racist.”
WLM, being as how we are into the third generation of Israelis, and seeing as how its been like 60 freakin’ years, d’ya think maybe these zionist/non-zionist objections could be declared moot at this point?
You know, address Reality (TM) instead of raging on about the good old days when Israel was a couple camels next to a well in the desert?
I mean, the Jews went there and built a functional Western state out of nothing. The NERVE of those guys!
On reflection, maybe the yellow crescent thing has some merit. How about a yellow crescent wrapped in bacon?
When you cut through the posturing and PR, you arrive at this: http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/comment-bostom120602.asp
Organized slaughter of other sub-humans. Another goose step in an all too familiar march.
WL:
Interesting reactions.
Israel is the historic location of Judaism, whose populace was forecefully scattered by the Roman Empire as a response to violent rebellions.
In my understanding, Zionism has little in common with Judaism, other than the fact their practitioners are descendants of a people who were deliberately scattered throughout the Roman Empire 2000 years ago.
The region was renamed Palestine, in the hopes that the scattered people’s hatred of the Phillistines ran so deep that they would never return.
Today’s descendants still have a strong tribal urge and, no matter what their level of religious commitment follow something similar to the bin Laden credo … if you attack one, you attack us all.
The Holocaust acts as a strong rallying point for the group’s sense of historical victimization.
As we have seen, there are many other groups who suffered similar atrocities during history.
The problem is that there are certain individuals who are intent on re-fighting the Second World War.
For example we have:
1. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
“The establishment of the Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world,” the president told a conference in Tehran on Wednesday, entitled The World without Zionism.
“The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land,” he said.
“As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map,” said Ahmadinejad, referring to Iran’s revolutionary leader Ayat Allah Khomeini.
2. Hashemi Rafsanjani, former Iranian president and current Chairman of the Assembly of Experts, said Friday that Hitler’s treatment of Jewish people in Europe was due in part to their being “a pain in the neck.”
Rafsanjani’s comments came during a sermon for “International Jerusalem Day” on Iranian TV.
Video: Click here to watch Rafsanjani’s speech (memritv.org).
Rafsanjani noted that Jews caused problems for European governments because they “had a lot of property” and “controlled an empire of propaganda.” He also said that the Nazis were successful in saving Europe from the evil of Zionism.
The former Iranian leader served as president from 1989 to 1997, and was succeeded by Mohammad Khatami. Rafsanjani ran for a third term in office in 2005, but lost to current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
3. “God Bless Hitler” protesters in Pakistan
http://www.n-tv.de/634520.html
So it would seem that whatever the proportion of Jews who believe in “Zionism”, it is quite irrelevant, as there are certain political movements afoot in the Middle East that would simply like to eradicate Israel.
You can add to the list, of like minded individuals at your leisure.
It might go without saying that the above individuals wouldn’t be supporting a two state solution to the Iraeli-Palestinian conflict.
WL said,,,,”impulsive Zionist vindicators”
Does that mean “Jooo Lover” to you WL.
Tell me what a Zionist is? The cause of all grief in the world WL? Zionists cause the Muslims to hate us WL, is that it?
Is it your belief that the Zionists should be turned over to Islam WL?
@Hans Rupprecht:
They ain’t the only ones. ‘Living in World War 2’ has long been the delight of sundry ward heelers in the victorious countries. That’s why, in America, “is the war over yet?” turned into such a huge joke around 1950 or so.
One cannot separate anti-Zionism from anti-Semitism. This has nothing to do with criticising the policies of the Israeli government, so let us not attempt to confuse the two. To be anti-Zionist is to claim that the Jews have no right to their historical and Biblical homeland. It is to single out the Jews’ right while never questioning the right of existence of any other state or nation.
There are self-hating Jews who seek the destruction of their own country, history and people, just as there are self-hating Canadians, British and Americans who do the same. They will all ally themselves with the most evil enemies in hopes of achieving their goal. In the majority of cases this is the hard-Left. So in this regard Jews are no different from anyone else.
Now have a nice day.

That is what is called a clue stick or LART (look it up).
Those unaware of its existence are usually the worst offenders. It’s funny, actually, to watch morons in action.
If you guys had two bits worth of brains, you’d stay clear from this type of controversey. The Simon Wiesenthal Center watches over this type of blog like a cat watches a Robin’s nest. By the time you’ve typed in ten word’s, they’ve got your number!! Ever heard of the “Mossad??” Wake up guys!! And besides, it’s all Nazi racist garbage anyway. “BL@CKBIRD” If anyone hates us, it’s an active choice he or she has made. It’s nothing you or I did wrong.
‘The Simon Wiesenthal Center watches over this type of blog like a cat watches a Robin’s nest.’
jayjay is a conspiracy nut. who woulda thunk?
Hey JJ, seen any black helicopter lately?
