Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Ha ha. Go Lions. π
Lions/Argos…..good pics though.
Heh, but God told me, Lions:41, Christians..er, Roughriders: 27
Whoever does win, it should be a HELL of a football game!
(Why isn’t it “Heaven of a football game”?)
Green is the colour,
Football is the game,
We’re all together,
And winning is our aim.
So cheer us on,
through the sun and the rain,
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Is our name.
Hardy har har.
In the Jungle, the mighty jungle,
The Lions feast tonight!
In the Jungle, the mighty jungle,
The Lions feast tonight!
You…
Won’t-Win-Away,
Won’t-Win-Away,
Won’t-Win-Away,
Won’t-Win-Away,
Remember David and Goliath π
Alchemist – I prefer this version:
In the jungle,
The mighty jungle.
The Lions get fleeced tonite.
One win away
One win away
One win away
one win away.
“So cheer us on,
through the sun and the rain,”
which is a major problem as the game is being played indoors . . . π
I live three blocks from BC Place and expect to hear the crowd roaring all afternoon as the Lion`s pride shows through in a victory.
37 – 24 is the call
Evidently there is yet another ownership group that will field an Ottawa Rough Rider team starting next year.
The Grey Cup is always superior to the Super Bowl, especially this year, seeing as the Argos are going to win it!
Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggooooooooosssssss!!!!
I’ve picked the Riders on pro-line – good odds.
It’s great to see the CFL coming back.
One thing that bugs me though is I wish that the Vanier Cup was played each year in the same location as the Grey Cup. It would add to the fun. This year is going to be great with the Manitoba Bisons up against St. Marys Friday night.
Danneil in the lions den and THE LION SHALL LAY DOWN WITH THE LAMB AND THE LAMB WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE WOLF BECUASE HE AND THE CHILD WLL SAY DOWN TOGETHER AND THIS WILL DRIVE THE ECO-WACKOS AND PETA WACKS CRAZY
Well, unsure of which Biblical verses to quote, so may I just say, that following the Bombers spanking of the “anointed ones”, the ‘Riders really should beat the Lions. Just so all will be right and the universe will say in balance.
Go Blue!
Go Green! (I can’t believe I said that, but assert that it has NOTHING to do with any Political movement or party)
Fred: its so good to see thst you are such a staunch lion fan can’t even drag your butt 3 blocks to the game.
With fan support like yours its no wonder the Riders can beat the odds
Ah, yes, the CFL. I remember when they were here in Baltimore. Those were two good years.
Mississauga Matt. The last time Ottawa had a team in the CFL they were not called the Rough Riders (remember the Renegades?) If a team gets fired up in that town again you can bet that it will NOT have the name Rough Riders.
It is looking like it should be the far eastern reaches of Western Canada agains the far Western reaches of Western Canada in the Grey Cup. So be sure the gofers go home second best today.
Well, Winnipeg did their part. Go ‘Riders!
Okay, Riders, it won’t be the same without you. I want a Winnipeg vs Banjo Boys Grey Cup.
bombers 35 roughies 14
nothing works in ott and mont except hockey. I’m surprised the als are still there. Maybe they’re brownbagged.
uncle, uncle!
And in due time the loins DID get Thredapon!!!!
WE did tread on the lion, and the lion did perish due to lack of game…………..what can I say……the Riders are God’s team……:)
Y’know, crow doesn’t taste all that bad. π
Can’t mess with destiny.
Oh yeah, and hope beats fear. Sort of reminds me of “work beats talent when talent doesn’t work”.
I suggest the Riders, from this point forward, enter the stadium to an AC/DC song. No, not “Hells Bells”, “Thunderstruck” or “Money Talk”.
Download “Big Balls”. You’ll see.
It appears that Pastor Rosnau’s signs are truly inspired!! Go Riders!!
for now it’s the nest……
