  1. Merry Christmas everyone.
Thanks to Kate and everyone that posts here, you remind me there are actually people in this country that give a darn.
    God Bless.

  2. What a waste of tax payer dollars. No wonder taxes are so high, when we have ‘conservative’ governments blowing them like that. We need a new conservative party in Canada, one that doesn’t waste money on things like this and little religious things.

  3. I believe Stephen Harper is the best PM Canada has had in over 20 years. I also believe that if He wins a majority government the next time around Canada will prosper and return to a position of one of the best countries in the world to all home.
Merry Christmas to all who gather at SDA

  4. LaughOutLoud! SaskConservative, got your underwear twisted and jammed up too tight this morning? You’re in a sour Stalinistic mood this fine morning, whatsamatter, couldn’t find a nativity scene to vandalize last night?

  5. Thankfully Stephen H used Merry Christmas in his address. Thankfully we have Stephen H as our Prime Minister.

  6. saskconservative obviously found a lump of coal in his stocking this morning!
Hey, sask, there’s this story by an Englsih fiction writer in the 19th century, think his name is sort of like Pickens, no Dickens, I think and he wrote this story about an awful man like you…..

  7. A PM not afraid to tell it like it is. He is doing us proud and setting an example to follow. Awesome! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  8. Merry Christmas Kate and everyone, thanks for SDA.
Thank God for PMSH and real Canadian values like honor, tradition, and family.

  9. I sense a “Ba Humbug” from SaskConservative…
    Buddy,
These seasonal greetings are an annual event from parliament hill and in case you missed it, Canada exists today partly because of us pesky “religious types” … I’m proud of Harper for having the balls to ditch the last 13 years+ of “Seasons Greetings” and “Happy Holidays” coming right out and putting “Christ” back in what the holiday is about in his saying “Merry Christmas.” If you take offense, or find this little greeting waste of tax payers dollars, that’s your right but in this season of caring and giving that’s becoming more and more about Presents and “Look what I got” your comment smells a bit of “Scrooge” or “The Grinch.”
Didn’t your parents teach you that “If you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all.”?
Merry Christmas Canada and may God bless everyone (even SaskCon) over the holidays
    Mr Ed

  10. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
A very blessed Christmas to you all!

  11. Whats wrong with this guy? This is a bilingual country, he spoke Canadian and didn’t speak one word of Liebral. Go figure.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  12. Merry Christmas Kate and all! Hope the New Year brings Prosperity (and a majority to the CPC).

  13. Merry Christmas everyone!
and thanks Kate for hosting this small bit of sanity!
Oh and I think Saskguy was trying to be funny?

  14. Sammy
Special Merry Christmas, and thanks again to Kate, and the SDA”family”

  15. Short and sweet, the way a politicians speeches should be.
Let’s all work hard to help this gentleman elect a majority government next year.
    Merry Christmas. You too, saskgrinch.

  16. God bless PMSH! He was dignified and pulled no punches–just like the other night on CTV, no matter how provocative What’s-His-Name Fife was.
We’re altogether blessed in this country to have a principled grown up like Stephen Harper in charge.
Thanks, Kate, for your everyday present to all of us. And Merry Christmas and God bless us, every one!

  17. Thanks Kate, for all the hard work you put in bringing us SDA.
    Merry Christmas to all.
once again a reminder for us to stay vigilant and keep Stephen Harper as PM, and to keep those
    overseas in our prayers
    God Bless!

  18. Finally a Prime minister who can say Merry Christmas without apologizing for it. and wishing all Happy Holidays with respect. Best Prime Minister in the last 42 years as far as I’m concerned. May we call you Steve?

  19. Thank you Kate for this place where common sense views can be seen. The Lord bless you and all your readers. Let’s not be ashamed of Christ for he is more than we know.

  20. Merry Christmas Kate and the rest of the gang. Kudos to PM Harper for not giving one of those generic politically correct salutation.

  21. “What a waste of tax payer dollars.”
Because posting a video on YouTube is incredibly expensive 🙂

  22. Merry christmas to one and all, we are lucky to have a P M with values and conviction we know it hasen’t been easy for P.M. Stephen Harper he has done an incredible job this last year and seems to cruise easily ahead of his opponents.Brilliant posting on utube. The lieberals are so desperate they are salivating over J trudeau isn’t he the one that wrote that fawning piece of boilerplate about Castro, vote Consertive folks you will never have to apoligize to your grandkids
Bubba the hard working boilermaker wrote this

  23. ‘Bird’s in the oven; Christmas Day torpor has set in, and a few family members are snoozing off the bacon/sausage/egg/chelseabun/toast/bubbly&orangejuice brunch…”White Christmas” and turkey with trimmings to come…
Is it just my imagination, or is Prime Minister Stephen Harper looking younger and younger? This job SUITs him; he fits it like a glove; his stature as a statesman is growing and looks good on him.
I’m thinking of and praying for the soldier I’ve “adopted” and wonder what kind of Christmas he’s having. I hope the army’s laid up some special rations for the guys and gals in Kandahar. My guy isn’t anywhere near the Tim Horton’s, so I sent him some substitutes. ‘Hope he’s enjoying them…
Merry Christmas, Kate, and everyone at SDA!

  24. TTO- turkey time out; to say Merry Christmas to all. All the best in the New Year.
2007 is year of the pig (Feb. 18)…

  25. Merry Christmas to one and all.
May God Bless and protect this country, primeminister Stephen Harper his family and cabinet, our soldiers, family and freinds.
Remember the reason for the season, and that wise men and women still seek him, his name is Jesus.

  26. “What a waste of tax payer dollars. No wonder taxes are so high, when we …. etc”
uh saskcon, where in God’s creation is this ‘waste’ occurring here?????
waste? a thousand bucks to set up a web cam, ISP, etc and free youtube acct, all of which which no doubt Mr Harper already has, so where is the ‘waste’ you refer to?????
put up or shut up ol’ saskboy !

  27. Did it ever occur to people like saskboy just how hypocritical Cretien and Martin were. Both were/are catholics which as you may know ranks Christmas as one of its most important feasts. Yet both these clowns would not even mention the word Christmas. That is the heighth of hypocrisy. This, of course, became very evident in their government affairs.
    Horny Toad

  28. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…
Oh I’m sorry, I missed another blathering Xmas greeting from Pm Cartman Flanders.
Questing folks. Is it possible to be a conservative or an NFL football player without thanking your God every 15 minutes? Just askin.

  29. Yeah, yeah, we’re all really impressed with your dazzling personal development and intellectual accomplishment in rising above religious beliefs to the point where you hold them in contempt. Have you accomplished anything else in your life?

  30. “conservative or an NFL football player without thanking your God every 15 minutes? Just askin.”
This is moronic. I’m a conservative, and i’m not particularly religous, but i don’t ridicule those who are. As for the NFL, i watch one heck of a lot of football, and can’t remember anybody thanking God recently, although i’ve seen the occasional quick prayer after a touchdown. So what? Compared to the usual pirouettes and dance steps, it’s a nice break.
Funny thing, can you imagine posting on rabble and ridiculing them for NOT thanking God. Imagine the horror, the indignation, the anger…
Why do secular humanists always try to force their religion on other people?

  31. Gorthos VonSchlimey: Is it possible to be a conservative or an NFL football player without thanking your God every 15 minutes?
    Yes.

  32. Key part of the greeting was using the terminology of “responsibility” as Canadians–something I haven’t heard from a PM in my lifetime. Very refreshing.
    Gorthos,
forgive me, but you are a complete tool. You find it amazing that Christians choose to praise God in a majority of messages….on December 25….Christmas Day. Capisce?
Why do “post religious” pseudo-intellectuals like yourself *always* move to restrict and repress freedom of expression?
    Merry Christmas to all.

  33. Merry Christmas everyone! I’m full of turkey..it was a good family day!We have much to be thankful for…epecially that God HAS blessed Canada with a great Prime Minister! And I am thankful for the freedom to say:
Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

  34. Merry Christmas to all, and to all…PASS THE AMMUNITION!!!
How’s that for a greeting? Cheers and god bless. 😉

  35. It was just a year ago we were in the midst of an election, and Harper was way ahead of the liberals in his campaign. Announcing major policys every few days etc. He caught all the msm off guard. With the cbc, ctv and the rest, treating dion as if he was already PM, some people might think he is, so when the election comes, and the message is change, hopefully they will be so tired of PM Dion, they will vote Harper. I predict that our PM is all ready for this, and has been ready since last January 26th. With dion saying they will fight every riding, they will spend a lot of money on lost causes, and considering they haven’t got the treasury this time to bribe us with, they will not have the money to mount credible campaigns in the east. When I get my new computer installed, with a sound card, (mine died a while ago) I will play the PMs Christmas message.
How many of you have caught the previews of Little Mosque on the Prairie. Muslim women curling, give me a break. Show me one mosque in any small prairie town. How long before the cbc is sued over the name of this farce.
Best part of today, my daughter-in-law did the cooking, I just enjoyed.
Thank you Kate and posters for a very informative year.

  36. gorthos et al who are sitting comfortably at their computers with nary a worry in the world think little of our soldiers..
“Christmas Eve will find me where the love light gleams, I’ll be home for Christmas if only in my dreams..”
thankless nobodies doing nothing are a blight in our society and you sir are beneath contempt. We finally have a decent government that promises lower taxes, NO industrialized daycare and all you can do is bitch about his airtime on YOUTUBE???!! You stink, you are the enemy within and I will fight you and yours until there is not a single sign of life.
    …that said I do wish a
Merry Christmas to all at SDA and a very very happy and prosperous new year.

  37. Well…..not really a lot to say that Kelly didn’t just say for me, so I’ll say ditto to that.
Merry Christmas all you folks on SDA and thanks Kate for posting that YouTube PMSH video. The MSM didn’t even let on that it existed. Nasty little sh!t$ aren’t they!!
    Regards,
    Pat

  38. Just had to come back when I realized that this must be causing the Moonbats to have massive head explosions. Yep, Moonbats and Dippers must be coming unglued.
