[T]hree things I want for Christmas, three things I don’t want, and tag five others, who I am sure have nothing better to do.
It’s a little late to tag five others, so I’ll pass on that. And I’m still thinking about the three wants and don’t wants. If I get time, I’ll add those later.
In the meanwhile, I’ll open the question up to you. Three things you want for Christmas and three things you don’t – the comments are open.

Things I want – one big thing, one personal thing and one frivilous thing;
1. For our troops and their allies in Afghanistan and Iraq to return home in victory and honour.
2. For Sharky to recover from the emergency surgery he underwent Thursday.
3. A pony.
Things I don’t want;
1. Liberals with any connection to the Librano family to come anywhere near the levers of power. By default, that includes Citoyen “Son Of Chretien” Dion.
2. More snow this winter.
3. Another late night phone call from a sobbing Robert McClelland begging me for a link.
Not very profound, I know. But, it’s Christmas eve and I’ve got better things to do than blog. So do you!
Wants: 1. A Stephen Harper majority government
2. The people who have the power to vote to open their eyes to the corruption of the Lieberals.
3.The people of this country to wake up and smell the coffee in regards to the Muslims.
Don’t wants: 1.Justin Trudeau to think he is in any way brilliant.
2. For Justin Trudeau to run in the next election.
3. The people, of Quebec and Ontario to think Justin Trudeau is God’s answer to our needs.

1. a loved one of mine to be cured of her illness.

1. To Get an interview for Med School.
2. To Get accepted into Med School.
3. To Get through Med School.
Doesn’t Want:
1. To have to go to his very last semester at his University (hurry up and get it over with)!
2. Another idiot professor who can’t teach to save his/her life.
3. To subsidize the CFS for another semester (sigh).

Thomas Walkom (TO Star) wrote that the Canadian Wheat Board is “one of the grand national institutions that has helped define this country.” This, despite the fact that it is not ‘national.’ However, he may be partially right in the way it has defined the Liberal/lefts ability to squash freedom of choice, especially in the west.
A letter published in the Star said: “We hear arguments that the fighting Canadian troops are doing in Afghanistan is necessary, but has Canada tried all peaceful means of reaching a settlement? Agreement on the truth was once sought from the greater arts of grammar, logic and rhetoric. We do maintain many departments of philosophy, English and other languages and literatures. I understand that Professor Layton wants to do just that.
What I want:
Torstar to go bankrupt.
A massive Conservative majority.
For idiot moonbat opinions to convert fence-sitting socialists into Conservatives.
Don’t want:
Anymore Muslim immigration.
To hear from anymore Islamic apologists, or ‘rights’ organisations.
Anymore Liberal/left governments.

What I want for Christmas:
1. An official end to all reparations for past “grievances”
2. News reports that ask someone intelligent about their assessment of a new government program or policy (instead of someone far left of the NDP)
3. Acknowledgement from some of the “guests” on this and other blogs that while they offer criticism of every conservative endeavour since the dawn of time, they themselves offer absolutely no alternatives that have any hope of success in solving anyone’s problems
What I don’t want for Christmas are comments or opinion from:
1. Jack Layton
2. George Clooney
3. Anyone from The View

1) Canada stays in Afghanistan with close cooperation and coordination with US allies;
2) the initiative for the election of Canadian senators becomes a reality;
3) a sweeping victory for conservatives.

1) organized crime and racketeering to be imposed on the wonderful Canadian people by the Liberal Party;
2) Canada to continue to have vitriol toward the US;

Don’t worry time flies so quickly that while I remember those three wishes of yours, I wish I had savoured them more… time just seems to roll by so quickly now.
But don’t worry, when you get into Med School they’ll be many more institutions specifically for Med Students (that claim to speak for all medical students because we docs are oh so socialistic) that like the CFS, waste your medical school tuition.

One of the folks on the View, the young blonde one, is a Republican. That she can tolerate the rest of those blowhards, is astonishing.
Wants:
– For law and order to be taken seriously in society, especially Toronto.
– For people to realize how corrupt the Liberals are.
– For educational institutions to be true non-judgemental, non-ideologically based centres of learning.
Don’t wants:
– A McGuinty second term. (Yes, I know this would mean John Tory, but he’s less dishonest)
– A Boisclair first term in Quebec.

I never have any “don’t wants” for Christmas. I was blessed with a super childhood and a wonderful marriage for as long as it lasted (and no, that’s not a contradiction), so herewith my six wants (abridged):
1) Since this is Kate’s home, I wish for her to have a magnificent Christmas, full of peace, joy and the serenity that comes from a day well and truly lived;
2) I want all of you to know the same, wherever you are, whoever you are, whatever you believe. Even Jeff, and Bob, and BCL and all of the rest whom God bent a little getting them going, McLelland too;
3) I want all of our boys and girls stationed around the world to be at rest, safe and if not happy, at least content in the magnitude of their gifts to us;
4) I want their families and loved ones to have the comfort of knowing they’re safe tonight, and pleasure of their voices, even a picture, from wherever they are, and for them to be able to wish their kids “Merry Christmas” this Christmas Eve.
5) I want all of you to reach out to a friend or family and hold them close, and tell them you love them – those who cannot, or have no one close can attest to the depth that loneliness can reach at this time of the year;
6) I want Jack Layton to be given a spine, so that he too, may know what real peace means, and for Stephane to get a job, a real one, so that he may know what life truly means for most Canadians.
I frequently don’t get what I want for Christmas, but I’ll be satisfied if even one or two of the above come to pass, and I’ll be back next year, God willing, for the rest…

2. For our Forces and their Allies to get the job done in Afgahnistan with the least loss of life and injury to the good guys and gals. For the bad guys to get to their heaven and find the bullet that killed them was dipped in pig blood and their seventy virgins are Wendy Cukier clones.
3. For the Justice system to wake up and start sending Criminals to jail and not give them a ‘Get out of jail early card’, upon thier conviction. For the parole board members who let these animals out early, to have to provide them with accomodation in their own homes while they are on parole and must serve time alongside the parolee if he or she re-offends.
Do not want.
1. To ever have to see or hear Taliban Jack Bin Layton offer an opinion on anything.
2. To see the Liebranos anywhere near my money or close to power ever again.
3. Stephane Dion to renounce his French Citizenship, so he can cut and run to France when things get too hot for him in Canada. Then he can live happilly ever after under Muslim Sharia Law coming soon to France.
Wants:
1. For the world to know what the Qur’an
and Hadith advise Muslims to do.
2. For our men and women to emerge victorious
from Afghanistan and come home safe and sound.
3. For the Conservative Party of Canada to

A new computer with all the bells and whistles, and a high speed hook up. But, I have to wait till Dec 27 to get everything hooked up. Seems there is a holiday and no one is in the office.
