In the past 48 hours I’ve shoveled the garage driveway, dog run and maze, sidewalks and over-the-curb truck parking space (small town living has its privileges).
Four times. I still have to get up on the roof.
And it’s still coming down.

11 parked Vehicles belonging to employees and two service trucks of the Kal tire outlet here in Courtenay. All are sporting the Nokiaan all season tire made in Finland. The tire maker whose slogan is . . . * Finnish your journey.*
No profit to me in any way. Just a factual observation.
I asked about this preference for Finnish made tires and the reply made sense. *Do you know what Finnish weather is like?* And, *They wear like iron but cost less than Michlen.
Interesting; I would rather buy Blitzak tires made in N.A. [ keep the jobs here]. I had them on an *89 Olds and they seem very good.
BTW, Finland, being next to the East Bloc would have low prices.= TG
But will we have a white Christmas? Global warming you know. A clue?
Edmonton just blew its entire snow budjet for the entire year including nexts, in snow removal. Yup I am planting plam tree’s in anticipation. lol
BTW, just heard that Calgary set a record for energy consumption…something about all those furnaces on full blast for a week.
Gee, I don’t see how “normal” cold is gonna help us with energy consumption, re: Kyoto “targets”…

I used to do it for poor old Spike my Golden Retriever when he couldn’t manage the snow drifts any more. He loved it.
