Re: Bubba. I think his righteous indignation was more about what the history books are going to say about him. That and his wife’s aspirations. He took control of the interview.
Notice how he was nice as pie near the end, after he got his way. Maybe he has aspirations too. He did mention he’d like a new gig.
He had eight years and had ubl in his sights. He wouldn’t pull the trigger becuse he was worried about opinion polls.
BTW billybob: at least Bush has more regard for his family and citizens, and is willing to admit a mistake. Clintin was worried about himself. The rest remains to be seen.

Monica was to star struck and young to know what was happening to her.

Then there is suborning perjury, obstruction of justice, lying to a grand jury and guilty of all. Disgraced, impeached and still thinks he’s the greatest.
The interview with Wallace was a disgrace.
Clinton is a disgrace. He is a liar, bully and a dangerously conceited failed and impeached former president whose scandal-ridden eight years we barely survived. ( Include Canada and all those unfortunate enough to be in the clutches of the tainted blood scandal wrought by Clinton with his scam from the Arkansas prison system ) His corruption makes Hughie Long from Louisana seem like a walk in the park.
Speaking of parks…. of all those abused and tainted in some way by Clinton corruption, they still live, which is more than can be said of a long line of unfortunates who got too close to knowing what the Clintons were all about!
In the interview, Clinton bullied and lied and attacked and accused, wagging that finger in Wallace’s face… quite reminiscent…really!!!
No one who has been impeached, lost his license to practice law in front of his own state bar and the Supreme Court ought to have enough decency to be ashamed. He doesn’t even have that!

Bill Clinton dropped bombs on a country because its leader was accused of being a tyrant (Milosovic). He did this without UN approval and he did this to a country and a man that had never threatened the States. Clinton also went on and on and on about Iraq’s WMDs (with Gore echoing him for years). Many women have accused this man of rape and sexual harassment in a period spanning decades (Rep. Clarence Thomas only had to have one dubious claim against him and he will forever by pilloried). I just don’t understand why lefties and feminists adore this icky man so much. He’s done the same things they claim Bush and other Republicans have done.

Another of NOW’s many hypocrises. They went to bat for Clinton immediately against Monica Lewinsky. Never mind that the kid, his daughter’s age, was cravenly manipulated by this serial sexual predator using his status, versus her naivety, as seduction. NOW chose to defend Clinton. In most of corporate America, a CEO pulling the same stunt with an intern would be vilified and dismissed immediately. The hypocrits at NOW would be leading the vanguard in vilifying the culprit, but, they didn’t with Bubba.

Deb, I think it was the then President of NOW (National Organization for Women in the U.S., sort of the equivalent to our NAC, here in Canada) who said of Clinton just before his second electoral win:
“I’d be glad to give him a blow job if he’ll just protect the right of women to have abortions.”
I’m not making this up.
These are the kind of people who surround Bill Clinton, and cocoon him. I suspect, this past weekend, he had been emboldened by the adoration accorded him at the Clinton Global Initiative and, having been bedazzled by the $7.3 billion that was raised (“Oh, what a good boy am I”), wasn’t going to brook any negativity, aka reality, from “a rightwing, neo-con” interviewer.
Whenever Monica Lewinsky comes up in a conversation and people begin to justify what Bill did: “That Monica Lewinsky was just a tart,”–and there are far too many of these folks–I ask them how they would feel if he had done the same thing to their daughter, or granddaughter, naming the young women? Boy, do they change the subject quickly. Then, when I point out that if a pastor or a teacher or any other public figure had done what Bill had done, they’d be in jail and would never work again, that’s the end of the discussion. Bill’s defenders just clam right up.
What is WRONG with people that they give a scumbag like Bill Clinton a pass on not only deplorable, but criminal, behaviour? He’s done far more than his share of abusing other people, including his lying under oath when he was the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, and too many still let him off the hook. It shows us how far gone we are, as a society, in allowing “image” to trump character, in allowing fluff to trump substance.
Bill Clinton may come across as sexy and “nice,” but he’s a snake in the grass and he speaks with forked tongue.
If he could do that to his own family, what could he be capable of doing to his country?
I wonder if Hillary and Chelsea are talking to Bill now?

At least Clinton had class. Do you think anyone would give George Bush head? Not likely. He could use one, but????? Jealousy will get no where.
President George W. Bush has some very important things to do and think about, like running a country, waging a war, and being a responsible and accountable husband and father. In other words, he’s doing adult things, like an adult should.
I’m pretty sure that Laura, Barbara, and Jenna are talking to Dubbya, and have a close, personal relationship with him, which as far as a caring husband and father is concerned, can’t get any better than that.
When both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush are dead, I wonder what a b*** job with an insecure 23-year-old intern will be “worth,” anyway: a few thousand years in Purgatory, or, maybe, the Hotter Place…?
Watching all the reaction, I’m even more convinced Clinton put on a show to put the Democrats back on the map. From FOX on-line:
