   I’m sure that you have noted that PC talk at SDA is not required.
   Lazy, simple minded labeling of others is not productive. (Which it probably why it’s found such a good home amongst the left.)
   But occasionally I think it’s okay to vent a little frustration at the socialists (a term which sums up most of the grievance mongers) who have twisted Canada into Truedopia over the last 30 some years.

2. BATB, I notice you tend to spell God with an ‘*’ instead of an ‘o’. Is there a reason for this? I realize that people use that style in order to say h*ll or f*ck but saying God is not a bad thing unless used in a profanity. I do however agree with your comments. It isn’t equality to bring down one group (men) in order to make your point. It is like the taliban bringing a country back into the stone age in some ways but then again females are just property to them. I wonder how much Judy Rebick would go for on taliban E Bay?

   Pious Jews spell God “G*d”. The Jewish Law forbids the name of God to be erased, therefore, his name is not spelled “properly” on ephemeral texts like the internet.

   I agree. It’s amazing the left call themselves progressive, when in fact the aim of their work is divisive and regressive. But then, more and more, the original and clear definition of too many words have been twisted opposite by the left in order to be used as weapons.

   I don’t agree with this poster – Jeff – who claims that disparaging remarks about Islam/Muslims are helping the Jihadi recruiters. I also don’t like that line of reasoning. It amounts to the same as what the Muslims have been saying – ‘Don’t say that Islam is intolerant or else there will be violence.’ – or something to that effect.
   I read a bit about combating Islam from an informed writer who claims that Islam must be ridiculed, as well as Muslims for believing it. Muslims must be forced to examine their religion and this, he believes, is the best way. Their achilles heel is inferiority.

   I agree TC that G*d is a very good thing, and though I am not Jewish, I do know that for G*d’s name to spelled out in full would transgress His Holiness, I guess sort of like people of certain faiths removing their shoes when they enter into Holy Ground.
   My husband has explained, also, that the Jews did not have vowels so that when they saw the consonants that would spell Yaweh, they would refer to Him as “the LORD.”
