Hooray For Hezbollywood!

Bumped as more evidence of photo phakery in the mainstream media continues to pour in.

Who’s that he’s aiming his rifle at, though? Are Israeli troops advancing? Might that fire be the product not of an airstrike but of IDF artillery?

Rusty Shackleford wonders if Haji has been collecting payment under two different names;

In addition to being a stringer for Reuters, Hajj is also an editor at as Safir. Why is that important?
We know that as Safir is an openly anti-Israel Arabic news outlet in Lebanon. Right Winged has this excellent expose of them here.
The entire website is very similar to the dozens of Islamist websites that I visit. The main theme of these websites is almost always that Muslims are victims of some outside force. They use images of dead women and children to reinforce this, always blaming the outsider for their predicament. This “news” website is no different.

I believe that sound you hear in the distance is the rumbling of an advancing avalanche.
Allah;

I can honestly say, in my two-plus years of blogging, this was the first time I’ve been inundated with tips on a particular topic faster than I could post them. Amazing.

For our readers in the media – I would like to direct you to an important detail you may have overlooked.
The vast majority of these questioned images have not been uncovered by “bloggers”. We’re only cataloging and distributing them. The real footwork is being done by our readers – more specifically, the average media consumer.
This is not good news for your industry.

  1. Anyone out there have links to the original news storys concerning H’Bollah’s attack on Israel? If so, I’d appreciate if you would post the URRLs. The reason I’m asking is because I’ve noticed that most of the Arab League speakers are saying that H’Bollah fired NO missiles or rockets into Israel until the Israeli forces retaliated. I remember, if my memory serves me correctly, that H’Bollah fired rockets at the same time that they attacked the Israeli outpost although the media presented this as being a diversion to accomplish their raid. I don’t believe for a minute that it was a diversion, I believe that it was a warning to Israeli forces not to respond militarily. Another thing I’m wondering about is why the media, who know the truth, are not correcting the Arab League speakers when they say H’Bollah did not fire their missiles first.

  2. The left is cool with deceit and lieing, and they think everyone is a lieing sack of shit like themselves.
    Remember the “All politicians are crooked” excuse from adscam, when the liberano$$$ couldn’t keep their massive thefts under wraps any longer.

  4. Robert J: “perhaps McLuhan should have said ‘the medium is the massage’ ”
    Actually, he did. He co-wrote a book with that very title with help from Quentin Fiore. From wikipedia:
    “The book was intended to make McLuhan’s philosophy of media, considered by some incomprehensible and esoteric, more accessible to a wider readership through the use of visual metaphor and sparse text. In its artistic approach it is considered cutting edge, even by today’s standards.
    The book’s title is actually a mistake according to McLuhans’ son, Eric. The actual title was “The Medium is the Message” but it came back from the printer with the first “e” in message misprinted as an “a”. McLuhan is said to have thought the mistake to be supportive of the point he was trying to make in the book and decided to leave it be. ”

    Won’t miss Bob.

  6. Mark M,
    I think that the Arabs may consider Shabaa Farms (sp?) to be “not Israel” and IIRC Hezbollah has been firing rockets into there ever since the last cease fire years ago so when the Arabs say there have not been rockets fired into Israel they “believe” that because they will not recognize the area as even being Israel.
    If the Hez were to get the small Shabba Farms area in the next “cease fire” then they can claim they won even though they got their a** kicked.

    Yes you are right, most of the rockets were fired into the Shabaa Farms area. However, two rockets were fired into the Northern Israel town of Shlomi. This town has been rocketed several times over the last few years.
    I found a good timeline of the conflict at Wikipedia.

  8. Who can deny/corroborate this report? The words/syntax is garbled too much for Bob Rae, NDP.
    This must be wrong; it’s a missquote; it’s a liy; it’s Bob Ray not Bob Rae, Liberal/NDP. …-
    In an interview with Amanda Lang on ROB TV on Wed. afternoon Bob Rae said
