Recall Paul Martins highly localized “freezing rain” plane delay in Vancouver on Tuesday? The same day that commercial air traffic remained unaffected?
Now, Angry’s got another sniff on this. A source passes this along;
“Reporters are telling me that the Libs will be stuck in Ottawa for most of the next two days because they have run out of cash to run the tour”
They can’t manage their own party’s finances, but they brag about how fiscally responsible they are.

Too bad the Left Stream Media doesn’t ground them at the same time! I cannot believe the coverage they are giving to the Liberals over the last few days!! How can these so-called political experts put the absolute false dribble coming out of the Liberal ranks on the air as “news”??? These guys deserve to be getting grilled everyday about the crap they have pulled on all canadians, but instead they go running back to the “social issues” Again!!! The Liberals should be in jail, not campaigning for jobs.
There wasn’t any freezing rain in Vancouver. To be sure, I checked with Environment Canada and got the stats at the Vancouver International Airport for the past 24 hours. See for yourself:

and there was noooo freezing rain, infact there wasn’t much rain at all.I stayed dry for a change!

Again, as I said in another post….
There doesn’t need to be freezing rain on the ground because the altitude these guys fly it is incredibly cold. As soon as you get off the ground any precip can turn to ice.
But that’s not the point. The point is this is Canada and you can expect that kind of weather. As long as they aren’t flying a piston driven air breathing propeller flinging cessna then it doesn’t matter. If they are in a jet that can climb to 30,000 then they’ve left the winter weather below them.
So, unless the runway was sheer ice and the de-icing truck ran out of fluid then you know you are getting a lie. Fortunately, that’s easy to check and easily proven. The weather in Van negates any freezing ice in the area that would prevent take off, and you can probably do the same for their destination. Remember, can’t land in bad weather, but you can sure re-reoute to a more liberal friendly destination.
But why does the MSM feel the need to pass along this stuff?

PMPM appears to be a media darling yet again. They are letting Dear Leader spout off about Harper wanting to get rid of the Supreme Court and Senate. Lots of airtime – very few tough questions from reporters.
We can discuss all kinds of things here but the Liberals are in full attack mode. Pass along the true facts and hard stories (ie)Relocatagate to everyone you know who may be leaning to another term of coruption and waste.
The Libs were pressuring civil servants in Ottawa to give them money at about the same time, Privy council workers and so forth.
The Libs are bankrupt of money, ideas, principles, integrity… yet they know how to frighten Canadian voters, it’s their only strength. And that is scary.
Remember, this is Canada. If flights were cancelled everytime there was precip in the area, the airline industry would fold.
And guys like Air Canada would have to demand cash injections from the government to shout out their competition and still provide the same crappy level of service they’ve always given. I’ve seen that damn CBC News with Mansbridge in 2 languages on every international flight I’ve been on! It’s driving me nuts!!!

I agree that the media has backed off on Paulie. It is pretty pathetic, if you think about. How could anyone justify voting for a party that is bankrupt (financial and morally. If the Liberal party is forced to declare bankruptcy, then they are legally required to disband as a political party. One can hope…
I just finished watching Stephen Harper (Canada’s next Prime Minister) score touch down after touch down against Peter Mansbridge. He never fumbled the ball once. Man, was that pretty to watch. Great job Stephen.

The Daily Show, with Jon Steward just did a piece on our election. Played some of the negative ads. Covered some of the debates then did a piece on how the CBC had banned use of the debate footage. Wonder if it will be on our news. If it hadn’t been so funny, I could be insulted at how they made fun of Canada and their silly rules. Said he didn’t have to follow them and got the footage off the internet. Then they did a takeoff on how a negative ad should be run.
If these criminals are returned to power, Canada and Canadians, too, will run out of cash, as the crooked bastards will exploit us all to pay for their excesses.
The gloves are off in the home stretch. If they want to maximize their lying and fearmongering, which we’ve seen happpen already, then we bloggers must nuke ’em.

Body language and facial expression pretty well says it all for Peter Mansbridge. He just couldn’t hide his contempt for Harper who meanwhile did a super job answering hard and pointed questions with tact and straightforward answers.

The weather in Vancouver is not like the rest of Canada so to make any “weather in Canada” comments are ludicrous.
27 days of pounding rain, yes. Freezing no, and i am leaving the house at 5:30 am when it would be coldest. Not a bit of ice for last month.
Must have been finacial troubles. And with all the media aboard the plane nary a peep. Still protecting the liberals. I notice that CBC and CTV have been getting anti conservative in this final week again. They were relatively good for most of the campaign. The reality of loss of influence and impending job reshufflings must be hitting home.

The Paul Martin Team must really be doing a job on the finances of the liberal party. They must be very heavily in debt. Kinsella was saying declaring bankruptcy.
They seem to have a real salting the earth, burn everything strategy. You have to wonder how the Liberal party will recover from this financially. They most likely haven’t even planned to pay that 1.4 million.
If Canada is lucky this will be the end of the existing Liberal party as we know it.

Last time I checked, Van was in Canada. Were you guys planning to be removed from Canada? I didn’t hear that. Until then, I believe ‘weather in Canada’ includes Vancouver.
Anyway, as I pointed out, there are several problems with the ice theory including
1) an airplane doesn’t FLY ON THE GROUND so you don’t need freezing rain ON THE GROUND for it to be a problem for flight. Do a little research before you spout off and call names.
2) an airplane doesn’t just take off, fly around the airport and then land. The weather needs to also be clear at the destination BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE OFF.
Get with it you guys. Don’t open your mouth and complain when you don’t know the facts….use a little common sense here.
but but but…when I fly in MS Flight Simulator 2004, I can take off in freezing rain…
