  3. That’s great!!! The first thing he saw coming down the aisle was that big blue sign and that right after the Buzzer just helped him out!!!

  4. Hey wait a minute. Paulie’s not getting off the bus, he’s getting on the bus. He’s waving GOODBYE!
The reason he is smiling because his bags are already packed and he knows soon he will be put out of his misery!(So will we!)

  5. I read that post… brought a big smile to my face.
And Marmot Days is right… Garth’s blog is fantastic, and based on what he says his team is doing an incredible job.

  6. Well said Mary M. I am looking SO forward to the thought that if Stephen Harper wins this election I might NEVER have to look at pmpm and many of his MPs again. They are our National Shame.

  7. Good one MaryM! Perhaps he’s smiling because the transfers to the swiss accounts have been verified and the lieberal books have been shredded? Hmmmm….

  8. Break it to us slowly. >>
Defeat could cripple Liberals for years
Bad loss will erode vote-based subsidy
New rules may hamper ability to recover

If voters send Paul Martin packing to the opposition benches Monday, Liberals could spend years in the financial wilderness, thanks to a set of election rules that will hamper the party’s ability to replenish its coffers. >>>

  9. Well done Garth and crew!
Sadly in the London region the London Free Press is still kissing PM’s ass big-time. Despite the fact the FP is in the Quebecor Sun chain the nuts and bolts who produce the paper fully endorsed the Libs in 2004 for re-election despite the corruption issue percolating even then.
One only has to scan the “Letters” page to know the Editorial Boards true political suasion.
The fact is the FP is a regional paper in southwestern Ontario as well as the only daily in a city of over three hundred thousand population.
It will be interesting where they put their editorial support this time.
The internet may well make a difference in this election despite the FP.

  10. While watching Paul Martin in full damage control over Buzz’s brain cramp,it occured to me that “fundamentally” is no longer his favorite word.
It has slipped to third place behind 1) “uh” & 2) “um”.
Now whoda thunk this ever would be possible?

  11. The more I see of this election ,the more I realise what a brutish, piggish thug of a man Paul Martin is.

  12. Thanks for the feedback, here’s one I just received this morning! I hope that it gives everyone a smile this morning!
I had just picked up my new 2006 GMC
Yukon Denali late last week and had to
return it to the dealer the Tuesday complaining
that I couldn’t figure out how to work the radio.
The salesman explained that the radio was voice-activated.
    “Watch this!” he said. “Nelson!”
The radio replied “Ricky or Willie?”
    “Willie!” he continued and immediately
On The Road Again came from the speakers.
I drove away happy and, for the next few days,
every time I’d say Beethoven I’d get beautiful classical music.
If I said Beatles, I’d get one of their classics.
Today, a couple ran a red light and nearly smashed into my new Denali.
I swerved in time to avoid them.
    “ASSHOLES!” I yelled.
Immediately, the French National Anthem started to play,
sung by Paul Martin, backed up by Belinda Stronach, with Jean Chretien on guitar,
Ann Maclellan on drums and Adrian Clarkson playing the keyboard.
The anthem was immediately followed by their version of
    Take The Money and Run!
    Don’t forget to vote!

  13. Kind of reminds me of that picture of Nixon? boarding the plane to California, one last wave to the masses. Hey Paul you won’t need the leather jacket in the Barbados!, better give it back to Buzz.

  14. Let me make this CLEAR… I just want to say that…
perfectly clear that Iam….. Equivocley clear that Iam not… Well lets just get this clear that Iam not a CROOK & you won’t have Paul Martin to push around anymore!

  15. Not that I’ve been paying attention to Paul Martin’s campain, but I noticed the Liberal signs say: “Team Paul…”
Reminds me of Ralph’s campain here in Alberta to distance himself from Mr. Getty and cronies. Is there a connection, as sometimes I think Uncle Ralph is a closet Liberal.
I still can’t understand how anyone can mark an X beside the Liberal name, some either have very short memories, or none at all.
    cheers
    tom

  16. Sarmite Bulte, aka Sarmite Bully. “Watch me after the election”, she hisses; a veiled threat to sue Geist?
Her mentors: AdScam Chretien/Martin/Gagliano, and Gang. >>>>
    Excerpt:
Update: The Globe and Mail has posted a lengthy article on the fundraiser issue. It notes (as I have) that the fundraiser is lawful yet raises the concerns that many are expressing about the perception that it creates. Apparently Bulte believes that raising this issue is nearing the point of being defamatory, since she again calls me a zealot and says “I am not going to sue him before the election but dammit, watch me after the election.” >>

  17. …that’s right ‘bear’, forgot about that. Funny how one’s roots come out during a crisis, but interestingly he’s pretty quiet this time. Last time he almost singlehandedly torpedoed the conservatives.
Although there is still 3 days left.
