Yes, this was Belinduh’s final stupid political act….let’s start a pool to guess how long it will take for her to:
A)Become bored with the liberals because she can’t have Martin’s job, and there’s all that yucky reading and stuff and moves on to a new hobby/pastime
B) Get turfed by Martin for wanting his job
c) Get turfed by Martinites when they see she can’t hold the Newmarket seat
Which will come first?

Regarding Adscam:
Where are the churches on this?
Didn’t Jesus horsewhip the money changers(launderers) out of the temple. I think some moral leaders(churches) might want to get involved since the situations are almost the same.
Politicans have lost their moral authority, so who is left to re-train them.
When Paul Martin was a little lad, he printed his initials and said “Wow my parents have set a goal for me to strive for!”. And this came to pass.

I hope Monte comes visiting, prints it out and quotes it extensively in QP. Although I guess he couldn’t in all fairness translate it to French first, which is really too bad.
You know Harper crossed the floor. He was an admin assistant to Jim Hawkes in Calgary. He quit the PC party and ran against Hawkes twice. Finally defeated him in 1993. Of couse he was an opportunist. Harper and the Tory Cheer team have a short memory.
Give me a break. Running against someone you used to work for isn’t crossing the floor. If that’s the case, then Ujjal crossed the floor too.
perhaps we could submit a couple of new words to the folks at Websters for their consideration: Like Stronach – verb, to stronach, to embrace hyprocrisy for momentary attention.
Or how about Cadman, unit of measurement – length of time between when a person speaks publically about his/her principles and when they sell them out.
With 5th grade writing calibre she’ll go far in the libranos, just look at khretien.
BS was interviewed by the Western Producer newspaper in May 13 ’05: re the Conservatives seeking intervener status in the American court case on opening the borders to Canadian cattle: she explains that it was necessary because the Liberals were failing producers by doing nothing: she didn’t say anything about joining the liberals: This is primarily a Western issue, and I think that she was implying that the Liberals don’t understand the “complexity” of the country.
