As a Yank, I find it difficult to come to grips with the political choas and demented social engineering which seems to dominate so much of Canadian political life. I always thought of Canada as a larger and better governed (read as “less corrupt and crass”) Massachusetts. Well, at least that analogy is proper in one respect: your politicians are in bed with the mob , and addicted to taxation and regulation as well.

Exactly. AC filters out the riff-raff and takes the hit on his bandwidth, but you’re still getting credit and name recognition, and folks are learning what a great blog this is – win-win all around!
