  1. Wouldn’t care if he wasn’t so smug, self-righteous and phony. The “I can’t remember” is pure BS.

    1. What he actually said is that he can’t remember any ”negative” interaction. I’m sure that it wasn’t negative for him and that he rather enjoyed groping a pretty young woman. For her, it was considerably less enjoyable.

      1. Assumes facts not in evidence. Between the Ghomeshi trial, the Patrick Brown/Roy Moore hit jobs and the industry wide silence on Weinstein, I simply assume any report of sexual harassment against a public figure is a hoax motivated by fame/fortune-seeking until conclusively proven otherwise in a court of law.

        1. In this case the report surfaced in a news article long before “MeToo” and Trudeau’s entry into politics. The victim is not pursuing financial compensation or anything that could be construed as fame/fortune. The story rings true. It also is not the worst story, but given Trudeau’s phony posturing, it is an important story for the public to know about.

        2. Gotta agree with you to an extent but Linda’s rebuttal is pretty sound. Plus PM Adulterer thinks he’s special, to put it midly

        3. I have a slightly different rule of thumb. If the accusation is against a liberal or globalist of any notoriety, it’s legit. Guaranteed.

Such claims made against patriots and conservatives are invariably complete fiction or wild exaggeration, usually motivated by greed, attention-seeking, or someone’s attempt to ruin a good man’s reputation.

        4. Daniel, I would agree with you were it not that the editorial in the Creston paper was published just days after the event in question. And it’s a very hard-hitting and powerful editorial, openly chastising the son of a former PM for misbehaviour and pointing out he of all men should know how to behave in public. I’m very skeptical of the retroactive accusations that are everywhere, but this accusation was made at the time of the alleged offense.

      2. Given his narcissism and arrogance he probably thinks women should feel honoured that he gropes them.

      3. Trudeau undoubtedly groped many young women and possibly many young men in his youth, most would have been thrilled to death to be molested by the Son of Pierre, and probably acquiesced to a lot more than a mere groping. Same can be said of many liberal heroes, such as David Suzuki.

I wonder why said Reporter has not come forward in this “meetoo” era, is it because she’s now a good member of the liberal msm establishment and extremely reluctant to do anything that would negatively affect Trudeau?

        1. Given the bias of the Canadian media, she’d be nailed to the cross. She made her statement back in the day, and no one followed up then. I do not blame her for shunning publicity; she knows the subsequent media crucifixion would ruin her life and the loves of those around her.

  2. About the media being very slow to report this story – something similar happened with JT’s dress-up tour of India earlier this year. The Indian, UK and US media were reporting on the lavish family vacation and PR disaster before the Canadian media timidly began to pick up the story.

    1. Exactly. The main point is that the elite Canadian media cartel is corrupt. They support the Justin Trudeau Liberals, so they conspire to censor this story. We simply have to see the media cartel though the lens of viewing political corruption at work. The sleazy, pro-Liberal Globe and Mail is the worst of the lot.

  3. “Trudeau and Groping, Two Words Our Media Are Reluctant to Print”

Here. Let me fix that Headline for you…

“Patrick Brown and Groping, Two Words Our Media Are Reluctant to Print.”

    There. That’s better.

    Oh, wait…

  4. I have been throwing this in every leftist face I know this past week. It has reached a point where the young Trudeau’s ‘guilt’ is the secondary story, now. We are to ignore the CBC’s purely partisan decision to deny a credible story of sexual harassment from a sitting Prime Minister? How is this is not huge news? Seems to me it’s news almost everywhere else in the world, but not here in Canada. A damning indictment of the CBC’s disloyalty to Canadians while actively covering up a scandal for the Liberal brand. It is a national scandal in itself, but who is to address it?

Scheer should stand up in the HOC and read the headline and tagline from every foreign story reporting on the Creston groping story then DEMAND an inquiry into systematic bias and collusion at the CBC. Ha, ya I know, in my wet dreams.

  5. How long will it take for an opposing political leader in Canada to face reporters and say “You are fake news?”

    1. It will probably never happen,”fake news” is trademarked by “that awful Trump”. Using that phrase would be the kiss of death politically for anyone except a Senator.

  6. Pardon my cynicism but this will go nowhere. If a progressive does it, it is fine by the media.

  7. Nothing illustrates the complete and blatant corruption of the Media other than their co-ordinated cover up on this story. As usual the Media simply refuses to scrutinize and investigate this story, instead they cover for the candidate they campaigned for during the last election and continue to campaign for now. Justard molesting a woman is a story that should be investigated and he should be held to the same standard he himself demands of others, but the story now is the Media’s refusal to hold their ruler accountable. Con MP Candice Bergen asks dim witted news readers La Flame at CTV and Barton over at LIbrano HQ the CBC the same question… why is the Media NOT interested in holding Justard to the standard that both he and the Media demand of others (Patrick Brown)? The Media and Justards handlers have had more than enough time to co-ordinate and rehearse their act on this issue, what is taking so long for them to perform their act for the public ?

  8. What can you ask a person who claims he cant remember? Nothing to see here folks….now back to Trump bashing.

They’re all hoping this will just go away – but it’s not. Nothing goes away anymore.

Talked to one of my liberal sisters the other day. She hadn’t even heard of this. If it’s not in the Red Star or the cbc it didn’t happen.

  9. My money says this is the tip of the iceburg. That lounge lizard has a history and the media knows. They are desperately hoping this story dies before more comes out.

  10. To Ken’s point above, Conservatives are always, always held to a much higher standard than the Liberals, both by the media and the majority of Canadians. Always.

Even if a new, recent allegation were to surface it would unfortunately not move the needle on Juvenile’s popularity one inch.

  11. Perhaps when considering that staying on the good side of Liberals translates into a continuation of considerable largesse flowing into CBC coffers, our national broadcaster can be excused for their selfish efforts to ignore Trudeau’s transgressions. God knows Mother Corp wouldn’t survive a week without massive transfusions of taxpayer cash. That being said, what is the excuse for CTV, Global, etc. pretending that nothing happened?

    1. Birds of a feather. The other networks are as much in love with Trudeau as CBC, and most of the staff on those networks are confirmed left wingers.

There is also the possibility that if you play the game properly, you just might get appointed to the Senate or some other cushy, set-for-life type of position. Mike Duffy, Michaelle Jean, Adrienne Clarkson, for instance.

Some day we might see Senator Michael Harris, though i’m kinda surprised we haven’t had a Governor-General Craig Oliver. Must be too much controversy over those small tent camping trips with Pierre.

  12. 18 years ago…..wouldn’t that put him in his 20’s….he was some spoiled stupid kid…
You can’t hold that against someone…unless they don’t grow out of it 😉

    1. He would have been 28 at the time of the alleged transgression, old enough to know better.

    2. @Latitude: You’re right. Plus it was before he was married and in politics. What young man hasn’t copped a feel during
their frisky girl-chasing days. It’s part of the seduction moves which BTW, I wasn’t very good at. To be clear, I am no fan of Trudeau, I actually despise him and similar liberals. I didn’t always despise liberals but these days I see no reason not to, they have earned my distaste..

      1. Copping a feel of a reporter is – pun intended – asinine. you are being interviewed but its not Wendy Mesley so you get to grab her ass? WTF?

  13. There are more recent sexual misconduct allegations against him than this. Two sources for the recent allegations: first, a staffer from the LPC within BC, and second from within NDHQ. Consistent message is multiple, recent allegations have been made that have not yet surfaced publicly. Affidavits have been completed but not been made public for at least one of these allegations. From around the same time as this published groping allegation, there is also another allegation related to times drinking in Whistler that has not yet been made public.

  14. Really really really hoping Karma gets him. But it won’t. It never does with those types. Same as his dad. Life ain’t fair.

  15. These days I assume, until I have excellent evidence to the contrary, that if a claim of sexual outrages has been made against a liberal, globalist, or homosexual of any notoriety, it’s the truth. Especially if the “mainstream” press try to hush it up.

Such claims against patriots and conservatives are invariably either complete and utter falsehoods or wild exaggerations or distortions, motivated by greed, attention-seeking, or a plot to ruin a good man’s reputation.

The mainstream media not only spread such tales far and wide but actively invent them. They may be laying off staff, but they still have money to bribe women with money or drugs to tell lies about men they barely know, if at all.

  16. Liberals fear conservatives in power as there is a risk that their sacred cows will be gored.
The CBC fears having conservatives in power because they see themselves as one of those sacred cows.
Neither the liberals or the media like each other or respect each other, sometimes they detest being in the same room. This is more a symbolic relationship where each threatens the other with the possibility that should something come out that gives political advantage to conservatives should be treated as an existential threat.
Ergo, the groping story due to its ability to deconstruct the only liberal election strategy of “justin is so nice”.
Liberals have nothing else to campaign on and the media would not see any benefit in running a story that ends the political career of their meal ticket.

  17. I emailed Global and CTV news asking them when they plan to start the breathless, 24 hour wall to wall coverage of Sockboy and Gropegate. I never received any kind of response, yes I am as shocked and surprised as you are. Here are the email addresses I sent my question to, please do the same:
    viewers@globalnational.com
    alerts@globalnews.ca
    newsonline@ctv.ca
    news@ctv.ca
    newschannel@ctv
While your at it please email Ralph Goodale and ask him when JT plans to follow his own guidelines and resign.
    ralph.goodale@parl.gc.ca
    Hammer them mercilessly.

  18. From the article

“… Remember, Trudeau is quoted as saying he would not have been so forward if he knew the woman was writing for national newspapers…”

So Trudeau is admitting something inapropriate happened.

Trudeau is not saying he is not guilty. He is not saying nothing happened.

it is an admission of guilt
