I’m not sure it is possible for me to love the truckers any more. I’m thinking of possibly starting a new organization: “Jews for Truckers”, or maybe “Jewish Mothers For Truckers” (I mean philosophically of course-not literally, don’t get me wrong mmmmmkay??). Doesn’t that sound so much better than those other kook lefty Jewish organizations like Jews for Jihad-I mean Jews for Palestine?

In the meantime, PM Hairdo continues to play with fire.

We need still more HonkHonk in this country and a lot less woke. It’s all so incredible to watch.

    1. Just imagine the outcome if a single truck driver were to climb out of his cab and give this slimfit nitwit his desired sleep? He’d be out cold with a single punch. I guess truckers are so used to getting the finger waved at them … that they just shrug it off. Do that here on the SF Bay Area freeways … and you’ll get shot deadt.

    1. In 1981 I was in Ottawa to do a bit of work with LANDSAT. At lunch one day, I overheard part of an eyebrow-raising conversation where someone was complaining about being transferred to somewhere out west. It sounded like they were being sent to the salt mines. That is when I realized what typical Ottawa civil “servants” thought about the hinterland, especially western Canada.

      1. My imbecile sister-in-law (from PEI) came out to visit once and she kept saying, ‘oh, yeah, I forgot I was in Western Canada.’ Over and over again. Until I reminded her that my house in which she was a guest sat squarely in “Western Canada” and that if she didn’t like it or couldn’t respect it, there’s the door.

  14. Well, the solution here is to pressure government to negotiate with the truckers. What’s the hold up? And why would the Liberal government be so stupid as to raise the spectre of an interprovincial vax mandate in the middle of all this? Makes it clear that this is about control– not health — and that for the sake of all Canadians, the truckers need to hold the line.

    1. I doubt the “LIB. Gov’t.” was even consulted; this is Trudeau, being the crappy little tyrant that we’ve all grown to despise, going off script.
      The Premiers, especially Ford, must be crapping their pants over this. Picture the truckers blockading Ontario…nothing in or out by truck.

  15. I don’t know what the convoy would be blocking in Ottawa. The Federal civil servants haven’t commuted to their offices in two years.

    1. Many live and work across the river in Gatineau QC. Especially the senior snivel servants. Many calls I used to receive from HQ bureaucrats would be from area code 819 instead of the 613 area code.

  23. If you don’t live and work within walking distance of Parliament, or didn’t come out this weekend to support them, you never saw or heard the truckers. The rest of the city is going about its business. And they support the truckers

    If nothing else, the parasites are finally learning what decent people think of them. If it’s getting to them, that’s a very good thing.

    I mostly want to know why a few good truckers aren’t in front of the Chinese embassy blasting 24/7. Maybe that will convince Trudeau to get his well-used ass back here and explain himself.

  27. Many in Ottawa are pampered, overpaid useless bureaucrats who have felt no impact to their daily lives (well, except for “working” from home and perhaps even getting paid extra to do so). They are parasites. As the old saying goes, the country will come out of its funk the minute Ottawa goes into one. Frankly, I look at Ottawa as an occupying force in Alberta. I think I know what they must have felt like in 1773 at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston.

  28. I’m 100% behind the truckers but I’m inclined to cut that dude some slack. There’s no question the honking would drive most of us off the deep end. Can’t really blame the guy for freaking out. But he’ll survive and be fine, which is more than can said for freedom in Canada if the truckers fail.

      In my apartment building, I hear all sorts of noises at night. One time, I woke up because the couple next door to me were yelling at each other like fishwives and, on another occasion, the couple above me engaged in what the old Frank sometimes called “horizontal jogging”.

      I could have knocked on someone’s door and told them to stop, but, then I might have created problems for myself. Instead, I dug out a pair of earplugs, plugged my ears with them, and went back to sleep.

        1. Foam earplugs are dirt cheap. I’ve seen them for sale at London Drugs. Failing that, any hardware or home improvement store would carry them.

          Ah, but that would mean having to make the effort to actually go and get some. As well, it would mean that his will, his comfort don’t reign supreme and that, sometimes, things that he can’t control can make his life a bit trying.

          He needs to grow a pair and grow up.

This is filmed at an intersection in the heart of Ottawa so if this guy hasn’t slept in 5 days, he must live nearby in a very expensive condo. He then tells the trucker to “get out of my city”. It is not ‘your city’ sweetheart as it is the capital of Canada – note please Mayor Jim Watson per your condescending direction to truckers to leave. The response of the trucker to the freaked out resident: “the honking will continue until freedom improves”. It isn’t just the pithy words, it is the tone used by the trucker: an intelligent, humorous deplorable telling an elitist ‘Karen’ that he / she must share the nation, notwithstanding the opinion of CBC propagandists.

    1. It’s not remotely intelligent. That’s not how freedom works, and Ottawa is not the source of most of the COVID mandates.
