In the past few weeks I’ve come to the conclusion that most provincial premiers are starting to look like Lyndon Johnson during the Vietnam era. Their Chief Medical Officers, in turn, remind me of Robert McNamara. By 1967 LBJ and McNamara were under growing attack for the failure of their Vietnam strategy and yet stubbornly insisted that the war was being won. In 1968 along came the Tet Offensive which collapsed public support for the current strategy and ended the political careers of both men.

Fast forward to today’s pandemic, and it would seem that the Tet Offensive is now upon us.

Six months after receiving the second dose of the two-shot vaccine from Pfizer Inc and BioNTech SE, many recipients no longer have vaccine-induced antibodies that can immediately neutralize worrisome variants of the coronavirus, a new study suggests.

    1. Correct. The Viet Cong were almost annihilated and the NVA suffered enormous casualties, particularly in their attempt to take The Marine base at Khe Sanh.

        3. Are you aware of what is going on in Florida, or are you just assuming because you’re hearing from the media it’s awful there? The areas with the lowest vaccination rates are in the southeast part of the state, namely Miami and surrounding counties, and they have a good number of residents who belong to the two largest demographics across the country with the lowest vaccination rates: Blacks and Hispanics.

          Yes, Florida has plenty of people who are susceptible due to age and/or underlying conditions, but the state is not a monolith. Just like what’s going on in Toronto isn’t like what’s going on in Western Ontario.

          And finally, the Biden administration is dumping a bunch of the people streaming across the US border with Mexico into Florida, and estimates are that at least 15% of the people coming across that border and being allowed to stay have Covid. That’s also a big reason why Texas’ stats are the way they are.

Look at the per-capita case and death counts for Idaho, Iowa, Alabama, Alasaka. Compare republican states to democrat states. It goes right down to the county level. Compare Alberta to Ontario. It all tells the same story. You need to be completely detached from reality to believe otherwise.

            As for cherry-picking time, yes! We are looking at how these places have fared *since* a vaccine has been available, which has saved countless lives and could have saved many more if it weren’t for all your misinformation.

        8. Have you taken a look at Florida lately? With early treatments of Regeneron (hope I spelled that correctly), they have succeeded in reversing the trend. Cases are dropping so fast, that the media has suddenly stopped talking about Florida.

          Meanwhile, Ontario’s cases are still climbing, although the claim is that the 4th wave curve is plateauing, the Hell-th “experts” are still forecasting an increase in cases in the coming months (by November, if I remember correctly).

      Their speculation is that this aspect of the toxic jabs, also allows other pathogens to advance in people, including but not limited to, shingles, and yes cancer amongst others.

McNamara was your quintessential technocrat, a systems analysis guy from the Ford Motor company who thought he could run the war by playing the numbers game just as they’re doing now. What he didn’t count on were highly inflated kill numbers from those in the field and dare I say it even from his top General. although he denied any knowledge of it.
    Even as a kid watching the evening news with Walter Cronkite, Wally would give out the daily kills night after night as if he was reading baseball scores
    I remember being stunned by the numbers, for example one night it’d be VC dead -1,670…U.S. dead – 3, next night more of the same. I remember thinking that at this rate they’ll be going home by Christmas. But It was all a lie. Just as it is now. One big effing lie.
    TET may have been a contributing factor to the fatigue American people were experiencing but there was a whole bunch of other stuff that went on as well. My Lai added another layer of horribleness.
    The media helped start the war (Gulf of Tonkin) but changed sides when the war wasn’t going as well as planned so they hitched their wagons to the hippie leftists of the 60’s, who unsurprisingly, are today’s fascists.

      I think a complementary fact to overestimating enemy combatant kill numbers was the grossly deliberate underestimation in civilian/non-combatant deaths directly owing to “kinetic action”. No one will ever know the actual number of deaths.

      I met the fellow who at the time of the Gulf Of Tonkin incident had been a navy radio operator. He was the only person who had the guts to come forward to state that the government’s casus belli was a fraud. He was a very smart and courageous man and it’s rather surprising he has lived to a ripe old age. Today I’m sure it would be quite different, as Julian Assange’s case and Hillary’s/CIA plan to assassinate same would suggest.

      When McNamara realized his entire strategy was garbage, he authorized a massive internal study to learn where it all went wrong. The Pentagon Papers were the result. The government was furious with McNamara when they discovered he was documenting the lies and deception. Which of course is the very opposite of what a good government functionary is supposed to do. Cover up and deny.

      The upshot was the generals knew for a long time they’d never win the war, but since it was good for business and a good offensive posture for the Cold War, they pretended they had a winning strategy and were zealous in advising continued prosecution of the conflict.

      The Pentagon Papers had an interesting connection to both Watergate and Assange. The Watergate burglars had been looking for dirt on Ellsberg to discredit the disclosures. The Supreme Court ruled that the conviction of the NYT would be an unwarranted infringement of constitutionally protected free speech. Now of course these media organs are captured by the deep state and not only self-censor, but active promote and distribute disinformation to protect the government.

    Xiden Zhou first said 60% with the poison jab. Now he says must be 98%. What next? Must be 106%? The stories coming out of Israel and other places where there are high death rates among the vaccinated seem to be just excuses to keep us in perpetual lock down.     Example, when Kenney reneged and put Alberta back into lock down a guy angrily claimed there would be thousands more dying because of the summer lifting. This same guy had gone, last summer, to a rural restaurant that was over crowded for normal times not just COVID. I was there the same time. None in our group were infected. Other than going home mad about terrible service we are all still healthy. This same guy, who is now mad at me for pointing these things out, rushed into town to eat in a restaurant before the current lockdown went into effect. The reason I am relating this is to point out how brainwashed the sheeple are. They are happy with being ordered around and refuse to recognize the contradictions.

    Obesity and diabetes are the most common co-morbidities with Covid deaths.
    Now, the unhealthy want to punish us for helping them out in this massive jam they found themselves in.
