      1. Can’t imagine he and his family are hanging out in the “Cottage” in Ottawa during Christmas break.
Last I checked Harrington Lake is not Ottawa and I’m sure they would be there at the very least.
Expect our crack reporters will ask him…..not!

    1. Word is Xi had some diarrhea from a bowl of bat soup and he needed only the upper echelon of toady to lick his sphincter squeaky clean.

  1. Remember, the Liberals declared an official Climate Emergency, it’s in our best interests that extreme anti-flu measures continue as long as possible.

    1. climate crisis , plastic straw crisis , single use plastic crisis . their successes are legion

      1. Unfortunately they have now created the disposable mask crisis. “They” are estimating 1.5 billion masks to float into the oceans. It’s worse than 6 pack rings

        1. Greg: Well, at least the wales and dolphins will be able to join us in our misery and mask up. misery loves company, after all.

  2. So The Great Reset/#BuildBackBetter is off to a great start! “Stumbling out of the gate” you might say.

  3. And yet Blackie’s loyal CBC is always ranting what a lousy job the U.S. is doing regarding vaccinations. Must be Harper’s fault up here.

  4. You go right ahead and fill your veins with untested globohomo nanaobots. I’ll take my chances with a 99.7% recovery rate.

    1. Agreed, Doug. And don’t forget the ccp virus is so deadly you have to take a 93% false-positive test to find out if you have (?) it.

    2. Doug, I hope to hell we don’t have to perpetrate violence on idiots to prevent our being shot with a so called vaccine or 9mm cops gun.

    3. Yep, Doug
This is one time that I am thankful for Blackie’s incompetence.
May the vaccination go as swimmingly as last year’s infrastructure projects.

    4. Doug… +++++/\

      Ahhh Yep.!!

I’m right there with you on that score.

Global garbage conjured up in a mere 9 months
      No Animal Testing
Every conceivable Re-Purposed Drug completely trashed by Fauci and Silicon Valley
InSitu Genetic Altering material that not one plebe on the ground has any F’ing clue whatsoever as to what is REALLY contained within..

But ahh yes, BELIEVE I tell you…!! in the Divine benevolence of thine Governors whose only purpose in Life is to ensure your good health…

ALL for a bug that has a 99.75% survival rate..???

Uhuh…Well, they can Get fkd….en Masse. I plan not to.

      1. “InSitu Genetic Altering material”

Please shut up, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

        1. Sorry all for being so late to the thread. Had to catch the red eye back from Beijing. I was waiting in line to lick Chairman Xi’s sphincter clean but Blackie Selfiesocks was bogarting all the cling-ons.

    5. Can’t tell if seriously retarded or joking. Poe’s Law

One of the good things about this virus is that it’s likely to eliminate stubborn elderly Trumpers ie the stupidest, least fit people in society.

      1. “…least fit people in society…” now where have we heard that before? Oh, yeah…

“ We are obligated to depopulate as part of our mission of preserving the German population. We shall have to develop a technique of depopulation.”

Think that’s Trump, moron? Now who is “literally Hitler” idiot?

          1. Godwin’s “law”?

Laws are colonialist oppression and white privilege.

            Heil Homo, fuck face.

          2. UnMe. For Gowin’s law to apply, the first person making an argument must say things that re decidedly un-Nazi and un-Hitler-like. In your previous post you stated that the virus is good in the sense that it kills elderly Trump supporters — clearly a Nazi, final-solution argument. So Godwin’s argument does not apply here.

      2. Made me look up Poe’s law.

Just crossed off my resolution, learn one new law this year.

      3. “Least fit”

I tell you what, why don’t you look at a beach picture of a large crowd of young people today and compare it to same from the ‘60s or ‘70s?

There was a time when wishing death on your political opponents was considered poor form, but it has never been a problem for the left. That’s why communism killed 100 million+ people, not even counting socialism’s death toll from WWII.

      4. UnMe: Goodness sakes lad I had no idea you were a MAGA supporter. Welcome to the movement.

  5. This chart is no surprise, are our memories that short? Only one month ago, remember, Trudeau admitted they had no vaccine supply forthcoming and it would be delivered later this year. Well, the ass covering by the media and Liberal apparatchiks for the rest of that week was astounding, to say the least.
They seemed to have scared up a supply from somewhere sympathetic, but, this idiotic government has no business sense.
Having said that, I won’t be lining up for this RNA altering substance.

    1. A supply of something Dan, just what I doubt that anyone really knows and that includes the so called medical professionals.

    1. Burgess, I am all in favor of vaccinating every single human being in every third world country in the world before me. Untested , un sure if it will just arrest symptoms when you get virus, unsure if it has any ability to prevent transmission of the virus, unsure about everything related to it other than “they” are going to try and force us to take it. “They” will try to prevent us from travelling, buying groceries, or doing business of any sort unless we have taken it. Anyone here ever read the Bible? Mark of the fuckin beast on steroids.

      1. Yep, I agree. Let the eggar beavers get this, that or the other vaccine and see how well if works. Since covid is a constantly mutating virus we will not be able to suppress its spreading. I’ve had pneumonia and I’m not worried about getting it again.
        Happy Maskless 2021.

      2. old guy, I’v read the bible, and cleaned out the BULL pen on the farm, and not much difference!

        1. What apathetic individual. The greatest piece of work ever penned and your tiny mind can’t grasp it. I know why you use 666, do you?

  6. Woo hoo! America is 0.6% ahead of Canada! Puhleeze. We aren’t doing much better than my friends to the North. Having just turned the dreaded 65 yo … I have been scanning the internets for information about WHEN and WHERE I will obtain my inoculation … and NADA. Not my CVS Pharmacy, not the “brilliant” Federal, State, and County Health Commisars. Lots and lots of words printed about the virus and vaccine … but NO News about WHEN a white 65yo WITH a pre-existing condition will get vaccinated. Nothing. Concrete.

    1. .6% of the Canadian population is ~ 2.25million
.6% of the American population is ~ 19.7million

That is actually a fair difference.

    2. I think that the point is Israel, not Canada or the US. What can be done when the priority is on saving lives and not on seeking political advantage regardless of the collateral damages.

      1. Israel has two advantages right out of the box. World class pharmaceutical production and a small, densely populated country.

Whether or not the vaccine will end up saving even a single life in the long run is still very much an open question. To claim it as a lifesaving measure is, in fact, a political position.

  7. I’m surprised Juthtin didn’t pay WE type mofo’s to deliver the vaccination. That way he gets to bribe friends and if the roll-out is slow, he could blame them.

But really, only Idiot-Leftists expect the Canadian government to do anything with speed and efficiency outside of removing your existential rights or buying votes by printing money.

As for the vaccines, I respectfully don’t think you should be worried about the contents.

    1. Buddy, I agree about the “contents”, however, there is supposed to be a follow up vax as well. Then as the virus mutates, we’ll need further vax programs. First they need to get us trained and compliant, and also know who will refuse to take it, then I would expect a vaccine sometime in the future to have, ahem, additional materials. After all, this time it really is for all the marbles.

  8. Good, keep slow rolling. That’ll give me more time with my family before I’m shipped off to some reeducation camp medical facility for non compliance.
One of those rare times where Liberal incompetence is very much appreciated.

    1. Allen

Yea…I guess in the warped mind of a leftist MORON, it would seem we are doing just Great eh. What AN ASSHOLE comment.

Small business has been obliterated as Large corps eat their lunch.
Hundreds of thousands thrown out of work.
      Elderly being kept as Prisoners

      Piss off Allen.

    2. Yeah, Queerbec and Morontariowe continue to show the world. /SARC

In incompetence, and producing endless numbers of morons to run those provinces and the country. Back to your bridge, troll.

    3. Allen

Check out the John’s Hopkins mortality chart. Out if the top 20 countries in the world (mortality/100k) Canada is 7th – worst. The US is about 17th.

Google it Allen and quit watching the cbc

    4. The “absolute change” is Canada is subpar. You must be a unionist as you judge by “not being the worst”.

  9. If they vaccinated the people over 60, they would have to give up their marshal law powers, since the risks could no longer justify it as the death rates would drop like a sinker dropped from the boat.

    1. Ya know Tim, those LTC homes are the crux of the issue. Right from the start, the deaths started there and overwhelmingly continued there. Hmmmmmm, seemed like a clue.

All governments have been negligent. Said governments keep using the LTCs as a crutch to apply draconian restrictions to the population, yet, they do nothing to protect these homes.

Efforts could have been applied for military level security and testing at these facilities . But no, better to lock everyone down, than to focus on the actual concerns.

  10. That’s the difference between a great nation that takes the welfare of its people seriously and a shitty little country that needed killing in its cradle.

  11. Israel, 8.7 million people and 400million hostile people around them shit their pants when Israel is upset with them. So go figure, they can git er done! Oh, and they started with the most vulnerable first!

  12. We manufacture almost no drugs in Canada. In a crisis we are last on everyone’s list. Producing the annual flu shot in Canada would provide infrastructure to produce biologicals in an emergency. Also, when we cut off trade with China when they attack their neighbors, where do our drugs come from? There are already real or manufactured shortages.

  13. Notable that federal countries—Canada, USA, Germany—are botching initial vaccination rollout because they didn’t build and staff for it early.
A classic federalism paradox: provisioning vaccines is a federal role; administering them is state/provincial. So nobody fully owns it
    Doug Saunders.

    1. It’s a friggin shot. They give out millions every day. Every RN, LPN, MD, pharmacist and likely others can give them. The only complication is deep freezing but you only need one freezer in each province and can transport the vaccine by courier in dry ice. It will be just warming up as it arrives at its destination.

  14. “ It is hooped (sic) that high proportion of over-60s who have received the dose could soon start to bring the country’s hospitalisation and death rate down.”
Perhaps that is not a typo. In taking the vaccine, you are hooped.

    1. The’Tool learned on the knee of Andrew Steer.

(Non-farm boys – a steer is a bull sans testicles – not considered a compliment)

  15. Population density and geographic spread are major factors here. Universal, compulsory, and publicly subsidized healthcare coverage also helps.

    1. So does government incompetence…..and in that regard, the Canadian federal government is an award winner.

      1. “So does government incompetence…and in that regard, the Canadian federal government is an award winner.”

If the above vaccination chart is your barometer for incompetence, then I presume you’re including the Trump administration too. By the way, Putin’s Russia is at 0.04%, and the world overall is at 0.13%.

    2. L- Also, Israel has mandatory military service, from which they learn a basic of winning wars, pandemic or otherwise. That is *logistics.

If we had that we’d be able to vaccinate much faster and efficiently. It’s no co-incidence that a General of the Canadian military has been appointed to overseer our distribution system.

As long as they’re not ordered to inject the vaccine using bayonets, I’ve no problem with that aspect.

Israelis share a core identity, including a trust culture required for a free nation-state’s survival.
Our core identity has been fractured, deliberately so. Our institutions infiltrated, likewise.

*(the branch of military science and operations dealing with the procurement, supply, and maintenance of equipment, with the movement, evacuation, and hospitalization of personnel, with the provision of facilities and services, and with related matters.)

    3. I’m quite content to wait as long as possible for mine. I’m interested to see how it turns out for everybody else before getting shot up with it myself. Because they lied about everything else, why wouldn’t they lie about this too?

That’s a factor nobody is talking about, for sure. More than just me feel that way.

  16. Actually in this instance we are in the best of hands.
Few statistics have the potential to cheer me this much.
    0.02%. Excellent.

A little higher than trees planted but I’m happy with this.
    A belated HAPPY NEW YEAR.

  17. Well Happy New Year.
See,even a criminally mismanaged government can do something right.
    Go Can Ahh Duh.

For a “greater success rate” our bureaus will now only announce government goals that can be achieved through incompetence and inertia.
The Presstitutes will write endless blather, telling us how glorious Dear Leader is.
Headline News” Justine permits Sun to rise in the East”.

Thanks to dear Leader Rivers run downhill.
So much that they can claim as “accomplishments” by the Prime Mediocrity the Media Party sold voters.

  18. If the government vaccinates anyone but the elderly they are not trying to stop deaths. According to a Canadian stats website there is a little over 800,000 people over 80 years old. In Alberta 50% of deaths from Covid are in people over 80. If .2% of Canadians have been vaccinated (approx 554,000) and Canada had Vaccinated the elderly, the death rate of elderly would have declined by 69% and total death rate would decline by 34.5%. Vaccinating young healthy, Nurses and Dr.s (2 Dr.s in Family) is a total waste until all the elderly are vaccinated. In Alberta out of 1000 deaths only 40 are under 60 years old.

    1. .2% is like 74000 people. Seems high to me based on the numbers I’ve seen. I mean BC got only 4000 doses.

    2. I am not sure why young people would want to get this “vaccination” at all. For them it is more of a risk than Covid. Also, presumably the shot reduces severity of Covid, but presumably does not prevent transmission. What then is the point for young people?

      1. Linda, I think they’ll take it for a learning experience…meaning learning to do as they are told and take the vax as instructed. They may need to be trained to comply, so that if or when, our betters want to add a little something extra in a future vax, they will be compliant, and they’ll also know who are the troublemakers who refuse to volunteer to take it. They’ll have us weeded out first.

  19. The thing is the media in this country are so corrupt they’ll never highlight this. It’s up to the CPC to do it but they’ve failed again. What the hell are they doing?

        1. There’s a chart two thirds of the way down. Granted the story doesn’t talk much about Canada but a picture is a thousand words and all that jazz.

          1. The headline should be why is Canada trailing the western world in vaccinations? Because Trudeau is an idiot.

          2. “Trailing the western world”? What are you talking about?

According to Our World in Data’s numbers, as of today, on a per capita basis, Canada’s behind the UK, US, and Denmark, but ahead of Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, and France.* Sweden, Spain, Belgium and most of the rest of the EU began vaccinations just within the past week, and Norway is only starting later this month. Australia and New Zealand haven’t started yet either, and don’t even expect to until spring at the earliest.

There’s room for improvement, as always, but by any global metric, Canada’s doing well.

By the way, vaccine procurement and nation-wide distribution are being led by Trudeau’s federal government, but actual jab-in-the-arm vaccination programs are being led by the provinces and territories. Last I checked, 7 out of 10 provinces were currently run by conservative/centre-right governments, so I’m not sure you want to make this about partisan politics.

            * Things you’ll never see on SDA.

      1. The CBC never do. As far as they’re concerned it’s all about Bibi trying to save his political skin.

Good to hear that no vaccines are being wasted on the Palestinians though.

        1. Israel is administering the immunization among ALL its citizens, which includes its Arab population [who make up about one-fifth of the Israeli population]. . The Arab population have apparently been hesitant to go for the shot – but, the government has been very active in encouraging them [and the other hold-out group, the orthodox Jews] to accept treatment.

As for Palestine [and they are human beings as well] – the Palestinian Authority is responsible for setting up its own program [under the 1990 Oslo Accord] – and they have been very slow in arranging for supplies.

  20. Just looking at the facts – I think we should look at two charts. [ourworldindata.org]

The first chart is by population; that is, doses per 100 people. Obviously in a small population, there will be MORE doses administered than in a large population.
Chart 1: Doses per 100 people.
There is no debate that Israel – at 11.5% per 100 people in the total population, is far ahead of all other countries. I personally know of people there – all over 65 – who have all been ‘done’.

The US, at 0.84% is fourth in line but Canada, at 0.29 is comparable to Germany and Croatia.
Again, personally I know of seniors in Florida who have all been inoculated; the only criteria is ‘over 65’. Your citizenship is irrelevant – ie, these people are Canadians in Florida.

I don’t think there are any excuses for the poor showing of Canada. None. Our key vulnerable [ie in nursing care] senior populations are all in a few large cities [Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa-Hull] – and there doesn’t seem to be a massive agenda in these cities. Instead – from what I can understand, the first vaccinations are health care [a reasonable step] and – isolated indigenous communities [an unclear step]. The rest of the population, both healthy seniors and others, have been told that it will be ‘months and months’.

Now, Chart 2, is the total number of doses administered. NOT per 100 people. But in total. This is a far more revealing chart.
The Chart shows China as first at 4.5 million but i never, ever, believe a word or data-bit from China. so – who is ‘really’ first? It’s the USA, with 2.79 million doses. Then, the UK at 1 million, Israel at 1 million, Germany at 165,575 doses. And Canada at 108,253 doses.

Israel has a population of only about 8.5 million – so, one million doses having now been administered is a really excellent ratio.

Now – that is something to think about. The actual number of doses. Canada – only 108,253 doses in a population of over 37 million…

    1. “I don’t think there are any excuses for the poor showing of Canada.”

“Poor showing”? According to Our World in Data’s numbers, as of today, on a per capita basis, Canada is ahead of Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, France, Norway, Australia, and New Zealand. In terms of total doses administered, Canada again currently ranks somewhere around 6th in the world.

      We’re doing fine.

      1. Dosage per capita? What kind of statistic is that? Which chart showed that? The per capita dosage is ONE per person.

The important chart is – total number of doses [and I’ll note here on a red herring comment that the ‘ourworldindata’ site refers to these as Covid-19 vaccination doses]…. At any rate is – the total number of doses as of today shows that Canada has given 108,253 doses; Germany 188,553. Bahrain 60,097. Russia 52,000 [as of Dec 22]..
Interesting, Lance, but what chart on this site are you looking at? There’s no mention of Ireland, Australia or New Zealand in the chart I’m looking at.

Again, the statistic to focus on, is not simply the Total Doses Administered – which is a number that is totally and completely meaningless in itself. !!!!! It’s the total number of doses as measured against the total population!! You’ve left out this important denominator!!! So, 108,253 as measured against 37 million, or better , 108,253 as measured against the number of seniors of about 6.8 million.

Now THAT statistic – that’s the one to think about. And it shows, very clearly, that Canada has a problem.

        1. ET, I never once wrote the words “dosage per capital”.

“You’ve left out this important denominator!!!“

No, I didn’t. I actually agree with you that “the statistic to focus on, is…the total number of doses as measured against the total population”, i.e., OurWorldInData’s “doses administered per 100 people” (ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-vaccination-doses-per-capita). THAT’S the chart I partially drew from when I wrote, “According to Our World in Data’s numbers, as of today, on a per capita basis, Canada is ahead of Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, France, Norway, Australia, and New Zealand.” Ireland’s included in that dataset; I also referenced Norway, Australia, and New Zealand because none of those three advanced Western democracies have even started their vaccination programs, and therefore are lagging furthest behind other Western nations.

By the way, do you realize that you’re completely contradicting yourself when you simultaneously write, on the one hand, “Chart 2, is the total number of doses administered. NOT per 100 people. But in total. This is a far more revealing chart”/“The important chart is – total number of doses”, and on the other hand, “The statistic to focus on, is not simply the Total Doses Administered – which is a number that is totally and completely meaningless in itself. !!!!! It’s the total number of doses as measured against the total population!!!” So, please clarify: which are you saying is most important for international comparisons — total doses administered, or doses administer per capita? I know which I’d pick — are you sure you do?

          1. Lance – again, the statistic to focus on is not ‘per capita’ but total number of doses administered against the total national population. ‘Per capita’ means ‘per person…and the number of doses of this ‘vaccine’ is ONE dose at a time, for a total eventually of two doses ‘per capita’ [again, per person].

The statistic of the number of doses administered to a whole population – as measured against the total population—– is not a ‘per capita’ statistic. A comparison would be the total number of women in a whole population..as measured against the total population. Or, the total number of people who can pilot a fighter plane…as measured against the total population. These are not ‘per capita’ statistics – but are questions related to defining the make-up of the whole population.

The statistical format is: the numerator on top…is your variable in question…and you are trying to find out how important this variable is, in your country. So..you measure this variable [number of people ‘vaccinated’; number of women; number of pilots’.]…against the denominator, which is the total population number. That gives you the conclusion..of how important your variable is, in your population.

A ‘per capita’ value, on the other hand, merely asks the question about the ‘average per person’.. which means, with regard to a variable, what is the average amount that the average person ‘holds’ of this variable. So – you might ask: Per capita – how much does the average person earn/save/spend in Canada?
But this has nothing to do with a question on how many people have been ‘vaccinated’ in a population – ie, it isn’t asking a question about ‘the average per person’.

          2. ET, I can’t tell if your intentional obtuseness is an affectation or a genuine personality quirk.

Yes, technically, “per capital” is Latin for “per head (person).” In practice, it’s shorthand for the standard practice of expressing values as a proportion of the population in order to make meaningful comparisons between jurisdictions of varying sizes. Any denominator value is acceptable, as long as it’s consistently applied across jurisdictions — mathematically, there’s no difference between “~1 million vaccination doses administered among the [~8.67 million] people in Israel” (Yuli Edelstein, Israeli Minister of Health, Twitter, Jan 1), “11.54 vaccination doses administered per 100 people in Israel” (ourworldindata.org chart), and “0.154 vaccination doses administered per person in Israel” (per capita).

The point is, even by your own standards of looking at “total number of doses administered as measured against the total population” — whether you want to express it as per capita, per 100 people, per million population, etc. — Canada currently ranks ahead of most other countries in the world, including but not limited to Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, France, Norway, Australia, and New Zealand.

We agree on the appropriate measure to use here. We even agree on the numerical values of that measure specific for Canada and for other countries where data are available. We just disagree on the interpretation. You see Canada behind Israel, the UK, the US, and a few other nations, and you call that a “poor showing”. I see Canada among the top ten in the world, ahead of many other Western countries, and I call that an acceptable showing so far.

            Agree to disagree.

          3. Lance – we do not agree on the ‘appropriate measurements’; we do not agree on the numerical values of the measurements; and..we do not merely disagree on the interpretation.

I continue to argue that your statistics are incorrect. And I’d like to ask: Just what is a 0.154 of a vaccination dose????? A dose is either 1.00 , which means, a full dose….or….it has been administered incorrectly. You are saying that each person only received 15.4% of a full dose of the vaccine!

          4. “ And I’d like to ask: Just what is a 0.154 of a vaccination dose????? A dose is either 1.00 , which means, a full dose….or….it has been administered incorrectly. You are saying that each person only received 15.4% of a full dose of the vaccine!”

Sorry, typo earlier — should have written “0.1154 vaccination doses administered per person in Israel (per capita)”, not “0.154”.

In any case, no, ET, I am not saying that “each person in Israel has so far received only 11.54% of a full dose”. I am saying that, on a per capita basis, Israel has vaccinated THE EQUIVALENT OF 0.1154 vaccination doses per person. This is THE EXACT SAME THING as the Our World In Data chart titled “COVID-19 vaccination doses administered per 100 people” (ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-vaccination-doses-per-capita — NOTE the “per capita” wording in this URL), stating that Israeli has administered 11.54 vaccination doses per 100 people, while Canada has administered 0.29 doses per 100 people, etc. etc.

Are you disputing the fact that, at 0.29 doses per 100 people, Canada is currently among the top decile of countries in terms of vaccination rollout?

          5. Math is hard, ET. Guys like troll-lance only throw numbers around to make it look like they’re smart. They don’t actually understand what those numbers mean.

      2. Do you understand that we’ve received all the vaccine we will be getting for many months? The UK for example is ramping up to do a million doses per week and hoping to increase beyond that. We have 250,000 total with 60 million on order that’s not coming anytime soon.

        1. “ Do you understand that we’ve received all the vaccine we will be getting for many months?…We have 250,000 total with 60 million on order that’s not coming anytime soon.”

Incorrect. Canada has received just over 250,000 Pfizer doses so far in December, will receive an additional 1.2 million doses (Pfizer and Moderna) by end of January, and 4+ million more doses from Pfizer alone (plus more from Moderna) by end of March.

          1. The United States administered 4 million doses as of today to our 100,000 and they’ve just started ramping up. There’s no 4 million doses of anything but copium coming by March here.

  21. From a pedantic perspective the current use of the word “vaccine or vaccination” as a solution to the current scamdemic is patently spurious, i.e., false and misleading. The virus itself is inert, therefor a traditional vaccination (using weak or dead bacteria to stimulate the immune system) is not an option. The current approach is to inject RNA variants – so the correct term would be immunization, not vaccination. FWIW

    1. Yes – you are correct. And I think it’s important to make that distinction. My apologies.

    2. Totally correct. Catherine Austin Fitts refers to it as a concoction and is surprised they can get away with calling it a vaccine which it most definitely is not. Calling it a vaccine, however, allows the pharmaceutical companies to escape liability.

      1. It produces an antigen that induces an immune response. It’s a vaccine. DNA vaccines like the AZ one are not new this is just the first time they’ve succeeded. RNA vaccines are newer but they’ve been tinkered with since about 2013 IIRC and found quite safe.

        1. “…they’ve been tinkered with since about 2013 IIRC and found quite safe.”

          Yeah sure. Sample size?

This is the very first time these technologies have been tried on the general public of any nation. You can totally have my share, big boi. Go get your jab, and then if you keel over I’ll know not to bother.

    3. “The current approach is to inject RNA variants – so the correct term would be immunization, not vaccination.”

Sorry, Paul, ET, and LindaL, but that’s not really correct at all. Your mistake is in defining a “vaccine” as requiring the use of “weak or dead” pathogens. It is true that many vaccines are traditionally of this type, but it’s not the only way to create one. A vaccine is any biological substance — including RNA-based — that stimulates an immune response and confers acquired immunity to a disease.

  22. I don’t think anyone in Canada has received 2 shots of the vaccine. Which means we have a vaccination rate of precisely 0.0. Not sure of elsewhere.

    1. Our program is so pathetic they’re already pushing for everyone to get single doses. BC is already administering second doses way behind manufacturer recommendations because we have no supply. Trudeau has screwed this up do badly.

  23. And, from Statistics Canada, there are 6,835,866 seniors [defined as above 65] in Canada as of 2020.

Now, if Israel is vaccinating its seniors, and has so far, about 1.1 million over 65 – then, this means that almost all of its seniors have been vaccinated. [Assuming that many/most of the doses went to seniors – or – how many went to first care workers…]

In comparison, in Canada, with its 6.8 million over 65, then, with a vaccination total of 108,253 doses…well, you can figure out the ratio…..

So- who is to blame? Federal and provincial, as far as I can figure out.

      1. But it’s the provinces administering those bought and en route doses. This is Kenney, Moe, Pallister, Ford, Legault, etc. Do you really want to go down this partisan road?

        1. My point is there are no doses to administer. None. We’re not getting vaccines genius. We. Are. Not. Getting. Any.

Even turd brain’s government is saying most people will start to get vaccinated next fall genius. Next. Fall.

  24. While Angry Adolf brings in a few boxes of vaccine every week, the Times of London reports that Astra Zeneca will be producing two million doses a week at its plant in Britain.

    1. What’s interesting is that apparently Britain will be allowing follow up shots with a different vaccine from the first one ie you could get an RNA vaccine followed by the DNA vaccine or vice versa or so and so. This could yield some really interesting data! Maybe we can find the best sequence to induce a long-lasting immunity, or a particular kind of immune response!

  25. So, Israel is leading in injecting its population with some globohomo crapola. Hooda thunk it?

  26. This is more of a prediction than a comment but I won’t be too surprised if these two things happen in 2021 —

    (a) the COVID19 will keep mutating into new strains and vaccines will be declared “only partly effective” or worse against those.

    (b) some new pandemic will start up, once again, shrouded in a certain amount of mystery as to how real it is, how accurate reporting is, are its cases real or just positive tests with co-morbidities?

There are people out there gaining at the expense of many people losing, and they are obviously cynical enough to keep this up, whether it’s for personal gain or to achieve some political goal of theirs, that cannot be as easily achieved through the electoral process (whatever that is nowadays).

We’re going to reach a point where only some draconian counter-measures will finally end this cycle, and I don’t know if there’s much appetite for that or any credible source of it, Trump did what he could but we’re about to find out how much support he actually has in the wider power structure, from all signs so far, very little, leaving millions of his supporters in the same boat, identified dissidents with no greater protection than whatever they can muster individually or in small groups.

It doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me that the COVID19 pandemic has accomplished almost all the same goals as radical leftist “climate emergency” zealots wanted to accomplish. But they want to accomplish a lot more. That tells me that we need to be on the lookout for new waves of false flag emergencies in 2021. Do I think COVID19 is fake? No, I think it’s a designer virus that can be exploited, to kill off vulnerable subgroups, to be blamed because it’s there in the system at the time of other-caused deaths, and to spread around in milder forms at a common cold or flu sort of rate, in order to create a hysteria. It’s working exactly as designed.

  27. Being first is an evil, patriarchal, white male concept that is not appropriate today.
Being last is much more woke.

The above is roughly the reasoning that will be used by Trudeau lovers.

    You are welcome.
