  1. I’m a regular bicycle commuter. I have got my bike back on the road in the spring in early March in past years. This year, monday was my first, and so far only ride. I got snowed out on Wednesday, today was minus 7 and gale force winds and there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow and though the weekend. Just imagine how bad it would be without the global warming!

    1. It is going to get worse. Several years ago I read an article that stated that the cooling trend we are now experiencing would continue and by 2032 the average temp would drop by 1.5 degrees c. That is a huge drop that will make more than Canadians shiver. We will be taking everything from those who have been forcing taxes on all fuels and they will be very unhappy but we will stay warm. If a politician is warm and I am cold I will take what that politician has.

    1. Uh huh, they even reminded us in one of the articles:

” Despite the unseasonably cold weather, temperatures across the northern hemisphere in general are slated to be far warmer than normal, signaling that this cold front in no way negates the overall warming of the planet.”

Must remember cold is warming, heat is warming, snow is warming, rain is warming drought is warming…it’s all warming all the time.

  2. I love listening to the believers explain how increasing CO2 can cause global cooling too.

    Awesome!!

  3. Earlier in the week, I was in northern B. C. at the house I inherited. I checked the temperature each morning and it was around -10 C. It’s the coldest April that I can remember, even as far back when I was growing up there more than 50 years ago.

    1. I live in northern BC. It warmed up to -8 this morning but I doubt it got above zero all day. Its snowing outside now. Looking forward to the hottest summer ever.

  4. A long cold winter was often predicted in 2017 by solar scientists, based on decreased solar activity and sunspots, they suggest we could be into a cold stretch that may last decades. Still it has been a bit of a surprise to people because we’ve been barraged for so many years with faked climate data and stupid baseless climate predictions by con artists like Gore, Suzuki, and pop culture journalists.

    1. When I was a youngster at the height of the cold war, we used to always blame any unusual weather on the Russians.

      1. I remember that too – Russian weather modification experiments.
And to avoid eating mashed potatoes at summer camp – saltpeter.

  5. What?
The weather cycles through various phases over about an eighty year period?
    Impossible.
Todays climate is unprecedented, it has never happened before and it is warming like never before.
So sayth the Gods of Team IPCC.
Now who are you going to believe?
Your lying senses or your benevolent comrades at Environment Canada?
The last great mass hysteria over weather resulted in women being murdered, condemned as witches.
This one has destroyed the hopes and dreams of entire continents, Oh to live as the Americans do, with reliable electricity.
That modern wonder that allows water on tap, refridgeration, air conditioning and automatic systems.
The damage done by Gang Green is treason at home and open war on the poor abroad.
    Gang Green is poison.
As for the solar energy drop, just wait until the oceans cool some more.
We will be burning the righteous at the stake, not out of malice or retribution, but for survival heat.

  6. I’m blaming red rachael. It didn’t take long to cool the planet after she imposed the carbon dioxide tax. I’ll bet even she didn’t know it would kick in as quick as it did…..

  7. “CO2 has always caused cooling. Warming is the threat to the IPCC”
    Big Sister

This is unrelated to any previous writings. The Ministry of Truth has validated these findings. Ensure you read these papers in front of the television.

You! Unit 042, John Galt, report to the Ministry of Truth for laughing during the reading of Official Truth.

stop glowering at your computer screen, we’re watching you….

  8. “This cold front in no way negates the overall warming of the planet ” . Record breaking cold for long periods over large areas . No effect on global warming. The only possible solution is a $200 per ton tax . Or possibly a study costing millions to try and discern the reason. Because it doesn’t matter how cold or how long or how widespread , damit it’s he warmest year ever !

    1. I’ve noticed that California now forecasts rain as being the result of an “atmospheric river”. Is that to make it sound more ominous like the Eastern U.S. now blames any cold weather on a Polar Vortex?

      1. So true. I’ve lived here in CA for every one of my 62 years … and to misquote Freud; sometimes a rainstorm is just a rainstorm. Like every rainstorm EVER!

  9. While it hasn’t been as cold here in south-central Iowa as in a great deal of Canada, it’s been unseasonably cold: -8 early Monday morning, -9 early Wednesday morning, and a forecast high of -9.5 Saturday morning.

Iowa farmers feed a good deal of the world, and they use soil temperature to determine when they plant. I have to believe that this weather is going to delay planting, which could have substantial effects on yields.

  10. -22 this morning just north of Saskatoon.

As someone mentioned in a thread the other day, it is not about the climate, but about destroying capitalism and spreading the wealth through forced taxation and socialism. Btw, the correct term is ‘free enterprise’, not capitalism. the word capitalism is a Marxist construct.

If anyone has links that would be great.

  11. Let’s see. Add 2.5 degrees Celsius. No, we’re good, the models are accurate, we are warming.

Meanwhile in Victoria we’re unaffected by climate change because we pay carbon taxes.

In fact, it was getting so cold this winter they almost had to reduce the carbon taxes to warm things up.

But we decided to go for the bike racks and bridge murals instead. It all comes out of the same pocket, so it’s revenue neutral.
