  1. Wait a minute?
The last CNN election report from Rachel Madcow said Obama had a 52% approval and Hillary is leading by 12.
    What the hell happened?

  2. Congratulations Chingford. You might enjoy this book,
‘Think Big and Kick Ass in Business and Life.’
Donald J. Trump is an icon: the very definition of the American success story. President-elect, reality-television star, and developer of some of the planet’s most prestigious real estate, he’s also become one of the world’s wealthiest men.
Trump is a living example of how thinking BIG and knowing when to back up your opinions aggressively—regardless of what your critics or opponents might say…
    Donald Trump.

  3. I’ll just wait for CNN to give the “real” results of the election, before I bandwagon here:-))

  4. Kate,
May I call you Kate? I will be elected President by the Electoral College. You may not know it, but Steiner is rallying the Electoral College Electors to my cause, and soon we will sweep into Washington DC victorous! It will be the beginning of my 1,000 year reign.
    You will see.
    Steiner will come!

  5. I sat down with Realclearpolitics and a notebook the night before the election
and came up with the exact same 306-232 result using the RCP custom map.
It differed in minor respects as to which states were won, but the count was the
same either way. I had Trump winning NH and Nevada, and I failed to predict a
win in Wisconsin. Other than that, I nailed it, including all the rust belt
states and steel and coal country.
The moment I knew Trump would win these states was when Theodocius The Atrocious,
AKA The Motor City Madman (Ted Nugent) rocked the crowd in Michigan. Trump appealed
to the tens of millions of American’s who lost their jobs to the Goddess Gaia,
otherwise known as our insane energy policy. That is what led to the near total
    deindustrialization of Detroit.

  6. Congrats to Chingford ! I overshot the goal by including CO NV and NH. My enthusiasm and certainty of a Trump WIN overfloweth-ed. No matter. MY win is unimportant … however … a WIN for CHANGE and CONSERVATISM is massive.

  7. Amen Chingford! I looked at the guesses prior to the coming in of election results and thought most SDA’ers were being defeatist. I admit I wasn’t feeling especially upbeat but felt Trump’s chances were stronger than what I felt about Brexit on the day of that vote. Everything hinged on Florida, North Carolina and Ohio. Once those states went Trump I thought the election was his. Really New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, Minnesota, Nevada and Colorado were within a couple of % points of going Trump. The fact that two other states actually went over the tipping point in Michigan and Pennsylvania should surprise no one. Outside of the Left Coast there’s no state strongly Democrat until you hit the other coast.

  8. From a Jacobite article:
It’s unquestionable that racism and sexism played a crucial role in Trump’s rise
This why you lost buster. Calling half the US population schoolyard names “racist, naninanipoopoo” is not a winning strategy. Beyond that, grow up.
