  1. John Ghomeshi gets his day in court tomorrow!
Wonder if his friend Justin will be there talking selfies!!

  2. Is this the kind of total attack the enemies of civilization are planning? Why wouldn’t they? Send us all back to the stone age where they want everyone to be, with them in charge. What is it the US are doing with Iran right now? Does it just seem like we have serial incompetents in key leadership positions here, in Europe and in the US?
“Canada vulnerable to major attack. Ex-CIA analyst warns of the danger of an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attack.”
“If you can come up 300km in the centre of the USA, it will cover all the states and the edge will hit Canada. All with one bomb,” Pry says, who later worked with Congress for the House Armed Services Committee where he continued his research. While there are zero deaths from the actual explosion – which is in the air – the EMP field would fry the entire electrical grid. The power transformers are knocked out. Cars shut off. Traffic lights stop.
“When the EMP field is created over the whole country it’s being injected into all your pipelines, all the railroad tracks, all the power lines, all the energy lines,” says Pry. “Naturally, it will cause everything electronic to collapse. This thing threatens the very existence of our electronic civilization. And we are an electronic civilization – everything depends on electronics.”
But how serious is this? Could such an attack conceivably happen? Actually, it almost did. In April 2013, North Korea orbited a satellite over the centre of the United States. “It went over us at the optimum altitude for putting an EMP field down over all 48 contiguous United States,” explains Pry. “So North Korean actually practised a satellite EMP attack.”
Why didn’t the Americans use it for target practice?

  3. The Clinton campaign to smear opponents kicks in. Led by her journalist fans.
How many smears on Sanders supporters can we debunk in one week?
So just to clarify: this Berniebro story exists because
    1) Wonkette’s Kaili Joy Gray is citing
    2) The New Republic’s Jamil Smith, who cited
    3) Mashable’s Emily Cohn, who cited
    4) New Yorker TV critic Emily Nussbaum, who credited to a Berniebro a quote from
    5) A Republican Congressman’s Twitter account, who turns out to not even be a Congressman, but rather
    6) A random troll who created a character “based on J.D. ‘Boss’ Hogg from the classic TV show, ‘The Dukes of Hazzard'”.

  4. Even though Gordon didn’t ask it himself its in Kates pre-amble,
“In the old days I used to have to fight skins all the time. Are they the saviors of Britain now?”
Gordon, back in the day eh! sounds like we both did the same sort of things, but we know the answer is “Not a cat in hells chance”.

  5. Perfect connections…surely her brother’s lawyer, Denis Edney(sp) will come to her rescue and get her out pronto.

  6. Edney is a little late off the mark as I’m sure Justbeen’s Uncle Jean is already on the plane to make a deal with Erdogan. It’s not the first time that senior politicians have been used to ‘cement’ a deal, especially if they’re from Quebec!

  7. I think the skins will play a role in what evers coming. The love England and they love to fight. I mentioned before I think the football clubs will have a big roll to play in taking back Britain. If you’ve ever come out of a match in Glasgow on a Saturday afternoon it’s impressive. 45,000 fans out on the streets. Same for Manchester of Liverpool. What would happen if instead of marching down the streets back into town they decided to take a short cut through the muslim area?

  8. No this is not a hoax (I wish it were).
“ZAKARIA: Do you worry that if there are a few more terror attacks like the one in Paris, of course like the one that took place in Canada itself, it will be difficult to maintain your policy of tolerance and inclusion and, you know, the welcoming of refugees. You’ve already slowed that down slightly.
TRUDEAU: I think people are open to not choosing to live in constant fear.”
Does he prefer inevitability or resignation? Statists must play the fear card, which of course leads to hatred, which apparently leads to more terrorist attacks, not the ISIS overlords planning, financing and executing attacks. Sure, let’s bring tens of thousands of refugees here and do nothing about the terrorists who have taken over their homelands, to which they wish to return.
It’s not fear, it’s disgust that an intellectual lightweight would speak of fear and in the same breath talk about Canadians going about their business, apparently not “in constant fear.” He has no clue about real threats that face the civilized world, no there’s just some bad people out there so apparently we must be content in our freedom, resigned to the idea of continued, and certainly escalating attacks from religious psychopaths here and elsewhere.
No, we’re more concerned about a backlash against the majority of peaceful Muslims. No sh*t Sherlock, we already know that. You might want to give that some thought, PM, when you’re not too busy taking selfies and removing accountability and transparency as cover for your future fiscal disasters.
What happens when a woefully unqualified individual is put is such a position of leadership and responsibility? We’ll find out, the Americans already know. For some odd reason ON citizens still have no clue. It will take a lot more pain to get them to see it, but it’s been done before. I would recommend Mr Harper not go too far away, btw.
