10. The environmental movement is being fractured by two wedges. The first is the conflict with natural conservationists, because all of the renewable energies use large amounts of space, creating in turn large natural impacts.
    The second is antinuclearism. If they truly believed in the existential threat of global warming, they would be calling for more nuclear power, and lots of it. But the environmental movement is primarily antinuclear as well.

    -there will be one less human to harm the earth
    -the birds can be nurished by picking at his corpse
    -the earth will be nurished as his corpse decays
    -which the kind of angst running loose in brain, life must be hell for him and suicide will relieve all his pain (and the rest of us won’t have to listen to his babblings)

    population by 9/10 so that those who remain can “Live in harmony with nature.” Hitler, Stalin,
    Ho Chi Minh, Mao and Pol Pot did not intend to kill 9 out of every 10 human beings on Earth.
    This asshole knows the agenda! That it kills birds is of no consequence to him. He is crying
    over a few thousand birds knowing full well his agenda will kill BILLIONS!

27. The idea that rising sea levels will kill people is ridiculous, people that live in low lying areas generally do so because the coast is important to them, where the coast is doesn’t matter. It is important to live where the “water meets the dirt”, they keep a eye on tides, waves etc. a few inches per century isn’t going to hurt anyone. They will live at the edge of the sea, where ever that is. According to their logic everyone in New Orleans has been dead for centuries, but reality says that humans will figure it out and so will most animals, the “adapt or die” law is still in effect for most species. Humans have temporarily exempted themselves from this law, how else can you explain things like “lactose intolerance “, humans are mammals, defined by the production of milk (lactose), the idea of survival to reproductive age of a mammal that can not process lactose is evolutionary nonsense. How long could a predator with dust allergies last, or a bird with sleep apnea, how about a prey animal with irritable bowels? We routinely survive and reproduce with ailments that are completely at odds with survival for the rest of the animal kingdom.

    and a few other related books. The last time someone brought up the name Rachel Carson
    on this Blog, I ordered the Kindle version of Toxic Terror by Elizabeth Whelan. The
    sad reality is that if not for Rachel Carson, millions of mostly third world people
    would still be alive today.
    These zero tolerance dorks are clueless for two reasons; One is that in the parts per
    million or billion, the most toxic substance is harmless. Second, daily overdoses of
    of the most benign substance is sufficient to cause tumors in lab rats. If I recall,
    they were pumping about 100,000 times as much DDT than the test animal would ever
    encounter in nature on a daily basis.
    This stupid woman killed tens of millions with her stupid book!
