Oh, Shiny Pony!

CBC, of all places;

In an embarrassing blow to Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, a large group of Sikh Liberals in British Columbia is quitting the party, saying Trudeau is being “manipulated” by Sikhs under the banner of the World Sikh Organization.
“We think this Liberal Party’s been hijacked by the WSO,” said Rajinder Singh Bhela, a longtime Liberal and former general secretary of the Ross Street Temple, Vancouver’s largest Sikh temple.
“The Liberal Party, especially Justin, is in bed with extremist and fundamental groups. That’s why I decided to leave the Liberal Party,” said Kashmir Dhaliwal, ex-president of the powerful Khalsa Diwan Society, founded by Sikh pioneers in 1902.

  1. No doubt the MSM, especially the CBC, will on this like white on rice and will cover it for weeks on end.

  2. The fluffy times are coming to an end. That period between elections when voters can respond to polls without thinking about any consequences.
But now that an election is in the offing, voters start thinking about their wallets, not what hair products some candidate uses. Reality is about to impose its remorseless sense of self interest on voters.
    Let the games begin!

  3. I have yet to find this story, on the CBC or elsewhere in the MSM, with the comment section available for viewing, maybe later, we will see.

  4. Larry, they don’t always open the comment section on ‘sensitive’ subjects.
Trudeau messing up is usually a ‘sensitive’ subject.

  5. Why is this happening or even being reported on? Another example of why “Multiculturalism” is a FAILED experiment. If these people cannot bring themselves to being everyday normal Canadians – get your ass back to the sh_t hole you came from. I want my country back and I say this as it is slowly but surely slipping into a cesspool. Why?? oh why are we allowing this to happen? In this case we have different factions in conflict just like there are in India, bringing this to our country. Ship them the hell back to where they came from. We need for all true Canadians to rise up against this crap. Same with radical Islam. Why are we allowing this crap into our country? Come on Canada – lets grow a pair!

  6. The Sikhs are an interesting voter block out here. Typically, they make these ‘mass registrations’ that magically happen at the last minute. Slimy politics is the staple, usually with the Libs or NDP, but it happened here with the old Socreds too.
As long as it damages Liberal support, its a very good thing

  7. Sit back and watch this train wreck unfold.
There was never any intention of having open nominations, tolerance of other views or unimpeachable integrity. The Liberal party is the same slimy, ethnic vote-pandering, dhimmi, taxaholic party everyone knows it really is.
Now that the Sikhs are mad, this should get really entertaining.

  8. Re: Problems with captcha.
I read the many comments on last night’s Reader Tips with regards to problems with Captcha, obviously a system that’s devised to prevent automated posts from unwanted sources.
I have an expensive Sony TV set that forces me to push ”enter” two or three times on certain channels. Yet my old RCA worked for 20 years without a glitch.
Surely there’s a way of fixing the problem. What do I get when I phone Sony?? They blame the cable provider, the same provider that worked well with RCA.
Why is that when someone complains about Captcha (IE: Bob L’Heureux) that so many people have to come up with excuses for a system that is obviously faulty?
Like can it be that hard to fix??

  9. “The Liberal Party, especially Justin, is in bed with extremist and fundamental groups”
Not true. ISIS, Al-Queda,MB,etc are NOT extremist, according to leftards. And it is true. Leftards are the ones to worry about!

  10. Another departing Liberal, Ranbir Manj, said of the nomination process: “I feel ashamed. This is similar to politics going on in Third World countries.”
    Sooooo…….
Trudeau is attracted to several foreign ideas, not only Chinese dictatorships.

in india and other third world venues, dirty politics is standard operating procedure. at least india has a putative democracy. if you believe that a persons conscience is shaped by their “birth culture”, religious beliefs and upbringing… and absent a conscience gene, that seems reasonable… these folks are simply doing what they believe is right. that isn’t going to change.
as long as we are willing to continue a policy of mass immigration from countries that do not share our political ideals and cultural practices (having 7 children instead of the canadian 1.2, for example) we are on the road to a very different society in a short number of decades.
will british columbia end up a chinese province or a pan-asian confederacy? hard to tell.
will ontario and quebec transform into a new caliphate? that is certainly less doubtful. hell, barbara hall almost established a sharia legal system here a few years back.
unless all these immigrants offspring value ipods and less restrictive social practices more than their parents traditions, canada will be a very different country in a very short period of time.

  12. Speaking of “mass immigration”, the UN wants Canada to do its share and take in part of the 100,000 Syrian refugees. Yeah, that will end well. Why doesn’t the UN and the Arab nations do something to sort out the Syrian mess and therefore avoid the refugee problem? Why? Because they are incompetent and have their own agenda.

  13. What it’s the end of 2014 and this is News?
    As in a surprise.
Where TF has everyone in Canada been in the last few years?

“the UN wants Canada to do its share……”
This has been a decades long “progressive” (Liberal Elitist) agenda to migrate as much of the Third World into “habitable zones” as possible.
Arthur C. Clarke and Carl Sagan both mention in detail when they were alive.

  15. So, basically it’s a Sikh schism. Mr Trudeau I think your open and transparent nomination process is going very well, don’t you!!
