  1. I will laugh when Rob Ford closes the gap with John Tory and wins…driving the media ‘intelligencia’ into a full frothing lather that they have been rebuked in a thoroughgoing manner.

As a resident of Sandalistaville (the Annex) the possibility of Rob Ford’s re-election is paralyzing me with the joyful anticipation of watching my neighbours and facebook friends cutting themselves in their anger and sorrow. Please. Please. Please let it happen.
    I don’t ask for much. Just that I don’t have to start begging union shitbags to pick up my garbage again. Or am I dreaming here?

    Which just goes to show that even in Toronto, being Jack Layton’s widow just isn’t enough to get you over the finish line. Olivia announced her candidacy just early enough for folks to see what an empty suit she was. And her winning the election was the only real outright disaster Toronto was facing in the upcoming elections.
    And with her tanking, just think how the good denizens of the Annex are foaming at the mouth.

    Chow and Tory are so exceptionally banal that it gives me the dry heaves – how could u not vote Ford?
    I gots a few progressive pals who will have to have all sharp objects removed from their proximity – tho i may have to put a few in front of them just to watch…I’m going to love goading them.

QR 77 here in calgary used to have some good talk shows but they adopted the Toronto Star format or were bought by that rag and they constantly peddle the same crap activist scummy yellow urnalism from the likes of this dork Rueben Kincaid/Dave Toronto Taylor and some twat in the afternoon named Cumquat, it is sad because I used to listen to them but thankfully I can afford sattellite because I cant think of anything more vile than Toronto Star reporting. Go Rob Ford.

  13. Did Kinsella actually say in his statement that he thought Chow would be a really good mayor? I dunno…somebody with that kind of judgement…I don’t think I’d hire him for any serious consulting role on anything…

  16. What? War Room Kinsella “stepping back”? Never! A tactical withdrawal perhaps…or maybe some back – spacing, but I’m almost certain that a master political tactition such as Mr. Wee-wee would never retreat!

  17. Didn’t Mr. Kinsella also work on Stephane Dion’s campaign? How many failures can a man have and still retain credibility as an effective back room operative/leader? Nice to see that Liberals/Dippers still don’t get it. I wonder if Kinsella might actually turn out to be partially responsible for an eventual Ford Victory. It’s not ironic, it is the result of ill founded planning on Olivia Chow’s part and not recognizing a bad fit, philosophy wise. Olivia has prided herself on being nice. Kinsella is not so nice politically. He is merciless. maybe his brand of politics is finished.

    If the people choose Ford as a populist “Charlemagne” in a sea of media backed vipers, so be it – as the one poster said, I’ll be elated to see Ford’s win cause wide-spread cardiac problems in the media and gated communities who have monopolized GTA politics and saddled the city with union extortion and PC hydrophobia.

  23. A win for Ford may show the high and mighty of Toronto’s upper crust, crusty old Lefties, the little guys, the blue collars, the street sweepers do have a vote and they can show they do matter.
    Tory may look better, but he is a perpetual loser in politics, that’s his record, there’s got to be a reason.

    The site maintenance consisted of taking down any posts that were related to Chow and his other personal attacks on Tory and Ford. ‘Still support her’, suggests to me that he was asked to take a hike that day.

  27. Warren Kinsella is a psycho. He’s also a racist bigot as his comments about yellow people and eating cats have proven.
    It would be interesting to find out the details of his divorce so that we could know just what kind of hell he subjected his poor ex wife to, but Kinsella successfully got a gag order on those facts.
