[W]hen he was at the [Harvard Law Review] you did get a very distinct sense that he was the kind of guy who much more interested in being the president of the Review, than he was in doing anything as president of the Review.
A lot of the time he quote/unquote “worked from home”, which was sort of a shorthand – and people would say it sort of wryly – shorthand for not really doing much. He just wasn’t around. Most of the day to day work was carried out by the managing editor of the Review, my predecessor, a great guy called Tom Pirelli whose actually going to be one of the assistant attorney generals now.
He’s the one who did most of the day to day work. Barack Obama was nowhere to be seen. Occasionally he would drop in he would talk to people, and then he’d leave again as though his very arrival had been a benediction in and of itself, but not very much got done.
What is striking now is a growing sense, fairly or unfairly, that Obama is not capable of rising to the occasion, that he just doesn’t like politics, that he’s disengaged, that despite his soaring rhetoric in 2008 he has a passion deficit.
All the criticism about him playing golf and being at Martha’s Vineyard is kind of a code for his supposedly being unplugged from the job.

Obama is a symptom. The ultimate problem is that he was elected – twice.
Removing him from office (legally or otherwise) would solve very little, as he could simply be replaced with someone just like him. Or worse, someone just like him who was actually smart enough to act covertly.
First, we need to address voting fraud across the nation. Then we need to strip the right to vote from anyone who isn’t actively working, retired, (legitimately) disabled, or a veteran (yeah, I know – fat chance).
Those two measures would eventually fix the country. Perhaps not completely, but no government is perfect. Unfortunately, it’s not likely to ever happen.

In a crisis you don’t rise to the occasion. You sink to the level of your training and experience. Obama is a con artist. He never did any real work or got any real work or life experience to draw from to actually take any initiative and solve a problem. He is a figurehead. A useless prop for the left to rally behind and destroy anything they don’t like. He should never have been voted in in the first place but he appeals to the worst people in society who are becoming the majority unfortunately.
People forget, but Barry is a guy who has gotten every single thing he wanted since 2008. He’s still getting what he wants right now. By doing nothing.

Mr. Obama seems to be modelling his attitude towards the concept of work after the person who penned “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

I also read “Problems with Our Socialism” by Obama Sr. in Spring 2008. More people should – as Obama Jr.
is presumably implementing “Dreams from My Father.” In fact there is little information about Obama Jr.
available now that was not available in Spring 2008. The remarkably sordid information about his later
adolescence might be the sole exception. That, and information about his mother’s love life (if I may put
it that way). Similarly, Michelle’s career was also detailed at that time.

I remember writing an essay on Trudeau Senior when I was a Mature University Student. A biography written by a retired Deputy Minister Miller who mentioned during P.E.T’s first term, that Miller was sent to Sweden to prepare a report on how and why Sweden was able to be a “peace” nation.
The report, which was quickly shelved, advised Sweden was able to remain a “peace” nation because it has an effective and capable Military Army and Air Force. This did not meet Trudeau’s plans to seriously down size the Canadian Military. He went ahead anyway.
Once again an unaware Progressive Liberal Party Leader, ignorant of world affairs elected based on false promises to an unaware electorate.
