I’m curious, how much oil in the Bakken field is in Saskatchewan & Manitoba?
I noticed today is Gaia’s chief disciple’s 107th birthday,celebrated on Google’s search page.
That was also my first thought.

The mother goddess gives……the mother goddess taketh away. They’ve been rewarded with more oil but punished by an outbreak of global warming for having it (after all aren’t tornados caused by global warming.
N. Dakota & Montana have a greater share of the Bakken then does Sask. & Manitoba. I remember Premier Wall awhile back joking that we’d have to use horizontal drilling to suck the oil back up north before the Americans got to it.
There is another area of Sask. that may contain some pleasant surprizes though. I live in the south central part of the province and there has often been stories that there might be oil lying west of Weyburn and south of Highway 13 but they haven’t done any serious looking yet. It would also probably be part of that Bakken field.

I could not say with confidence how much Bakken oil is north of the 49th. I have driven down as far as Weyburn which has a lot of activity. I have enough confidence that I own CPG and SGY as investments. They make me feel like a oil tycoon!
