The toxic left’s furbaby wing loses a big one;
A circus producer said Friday that an animal rights group has paid it $9.3 million to settle two federal court cases claiming elephant abuse.
Feld Entertainment, Inc., trumpeted the settlement with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) as a victory for its Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
“These defendants attempted to destroy our family-owned business with a hired plaintiff who made statements that the court did not believe,” said Kenneth Feld, chairman and CEO of Feld Entertainment, in a statement.
“Animal activists have been attacking our family, our company, and our employees for decades because they oppose animals in circuses,” Feld said. “This settlement is a vindication not just for the company but also for the dedicated men and women who spend their lives working and caring for all the animals with Ringling Brothers in the face of such targeted, malicious rhetoric.”

It is now also time to start lawsuits against lying environmentalists and other radical leftist groups that think they are free to defame anyone or anything without repercussions.
Wouldn’t it be nice …the HSUS is currently running ads touting the work they do to protect animals. Since it is all BS can they be sued for fraud?

This is excellent news in that they refused to allow the usual shake-down and faught back. Thankfully being a rather big outfit they had the funds to do so. How many other smaller victims lacking the same resources have had their lives and reputation destroyed by these thugs?
“I’ll be back” with an army of public interest lawyers. And the money from a bunch of trust funds.
In the particular circumstances, I am very pleased that they “trumpeted” their victory.
Good to see the thugs get the boot on this one. They wanted to liberate the Elephants so they could kill them…..for their own good of course.
But, all of this could be avoided.
Ontario – you know, that place of massive debt, ridiculous hydro rates, and no industry – has an Elephant Protection Act.
Yessir. While our economy was plummeting at the speed of light; while hospital wait times were growing; while our energy bills soared and manufacturers chained their gates shut, our Liberal dickheads were wiling away their days protecting Ontario’s elephants.

This story is a year old but well worth a encore. I cheered it last year and will cheer it again this year.
