58 Replies to “I Can See Joe McGinniss From My House”

  1. When his book is published McGinniss will be laughing all the way to the bank. He is free to move any where he likes in that great land of liberty; the USA. As I said yesterday, too bad Kitty Kelly didn’t move next door to poor Sarah. And for good measure throw in Cindy Adams moving across the street. All of this whining from the indignant right make me wonder if they want a little cheese to go with it.

  2. Looks like Joe McGinniss will be getting a little political ‘stalking’ of his own.

  3. Saw a picture of the fence. That sucker covers the house. He will have to perch on the roof if he wants to lurk. Might get hit by a reindeer up there or fall or something. Must be nice to live where if an arsehole moves in next door there are no regulations on height? Heck in Canada we had a warden tie ribbons around trees to mark the prison yard. Suicides shut the place down.

  4. The best thing about the photo of the new fence: Todd’s two covered snowmobiles wedged between the stalker fence and the regular fence. My kinda guy.

  5. Swell, now a gigantic 8-foot fence — that’ll do wonders for their property value.
Talk about cutting off your own nose to spite your face.

  6. I mentioned to my wife yesterday that no matter how “stupid” Sarah Palin is, her political moves are often brilliant. As the Left revels in their antagonistic bliss at the Palin families expense, Sarah Palin with one swift stroke turns the tables and sticks-it in the eye of the Left by not only foiling the journalists plans, but also symbolically supporting Arizona. Sarah Palin might not be smart, but you don’t have to be smart to demonstrate that a fence is a good common sense way to keep unwanted people out.
Way to go Sarah! Build that wall and keep the unwanted “guest” OUT.
I’ve yet to see anyone who can stick-it to the Left with so little effort as Sarah Palin.

  7. All of that said, the obvious headline from the MSM will be: Sarah Palin Breaks Zoning Laws by Erecting Illegal Fence.

  8. Speedy … great minds …
First thing that hit me: WOW, can they REALLY put up a fence like that?
Er, Davenport, I don’t think Sarah is worrying too much about the value of that house. That’s pocket money now for the Palins. I think it’s gonna be 15 ft., and as you must know it’s easily removed when the sick stalker decamps, which he no doubt will in short order.
It was a kind thought tho!

  9. Davenport The fence can come down if so desired and I would guess it will. The word warrior next door most likely won’t improve whether there is a fence or not. Message sent. You have the freedom to be there you aren’t an eastern banker or anything but we don’t have to look at YOU.

  10. They should have sent a black guy instead. Then Palin would have no recourse.

  11. If political sides were reversed, and a right-wing writer moved next door to a leftist politician’s family home, he’d be arrested before he could unpack his surveillance gear.
Works only one direction in our society folks. I guess sh1t really does flow downhill, and conservatives have allowed the marxists and socialists to slither past us to the top.

  12. I’m trying to think when, in my 81 yrs, I’ve seen anyone (other than Hitler and Stalin of course) vilified a much as Sarah Palin.
She’s “stupid”, “might not be smart” etc. This from people who really don’t know if she is because all they’re going by are her policies, which they disagree with.
If one scratches ever so slightly, one can find the main issue is her personal stance on abortion and same-sex marriage.
Really doesn’t matter what her views are on any other issue. They’re used as so much marshmallow and whipped cream on top to make it look good.
Those who vilify her (and I don’t mean disagree with her on policy issues) show their real character much more than they reveal any lack in her character.
Kick a**, Sarah. And, Todd, if you read SDA: you’re one of the most admirable men I’ve seen in many a year.

  13. That fence looks high enough and strong enough for a ‘drawn and quartered’ operation. Child (physical or mental) molestation justice, I would say.
    mmmmm

  14. Gellen
I don’t think the lefties were motivated by her opinions personal or otherwise on anything.
They took one look, decided they would like to jump on her bones (perverts that they are) and assumed the majority of voters were influenced by similar shallow animal urges and panicked.
    It’s just that simple IMHO.

  15. I wonder how this will affect the value of the property(next door to Palin’s). No matter how good a neighbour Palin might be, most people don’t want to live next door to someone who attracts this much attention.

  16. Gellen
Although the visual is not accurate….JUST picture Telly Savalas’ character in Capricorn One….”PERVERTS!”

  17. Indiana Homez @ 12:37 PM, I don’t know if it’s that Palin isn’t smart. I think it’s more likely that the left is dumber and getting dumber and dumber as every year passes. All you have to look at is their roster of ideas. They are all old, worn out, proven over and over to be unworkable. They haven’t had a new, smart idea in a half century and even at that, these old, worn out, proven over and over to be unworkable ideas came largely from the 1960s (ie. half a century ago). Talk about a brain dead bunch. I mean, how many people with a sharp intellect would be so voyeuristic and salacious about Palin and her family. Give them circuses and their happy as pigs in sh*t.

  18. The sort of academic and self-regarding chattering-class middle and upper-middle class people who know that Sarah Palin is just a total moron – I mean God, it’s really a miracle she’s managed to figure out how to keep breathing, already – base this certainty of theirs on nothing beyond the fact that she’s:
    a) A woman
    b) A Republican
    c) Someone who didn’t go to an Ivy League school.
Oh, and hunting is vulgar. So’s her accent and hairdo.
If you come across these types of people, ask them about it. I guarantee you they have nothing else in their arsenal. Believe me, I know them.

  19. gellen: “She’s “stupid”, “might not be smart” etc. This from people who really don’t know if she is because all they’re going by are her policies, which they disagree with.”
    ========================
IMHO, it’s more likely they know nothing about her policies and are basing their opinion on the nauseating media spin churned out non-stop by the LSM.

  20. What’s the big deal?
Really, folks…this chit ball has slimed Sarah repeatedly several times already. What more can he possibly write by living next to her? That her lawn mower needs a tune up? That she her car is leaking oil on the driveway?
Sheesh. Nobody of any consequence is going to read what the idiot writes anyway.
I love Sarah but sheesh, having chitty neighbours is sometimes a fact of life. She she can do far more damage writing publicly about him than the other way around when it comes right down to it.

  21. “They should have sent a black guy instead. Then Palin would have no recourse.”
    ROGLMAO
    Don’t give them any ideas.
That comment reminds me of the time Larry David was passed by a blackman at about the same time he turned around and armed his car alarm.
    Priceless!

  22. A new series comes to mind, Ice Road F*ckers.
It’s about “urinalists” speeding north after getting the boot from an in-shape Alaskan.

  23. “Stupid” can be taken as an idependent (absolute) pejorative, or as a relative and quantitative term, albeit not flattering.
Is there anyone in the world that seriously believes that Sarah Palin is of below average intelligence?

  24. Just for the record, I don’t think SP is stupid; I think she is quite smart, but unrefined.
Regarding Sasq’s comments, I’m not so sure it’s that simple.
If you can accept the premise that the values held dear to the Left are for the most part Woman’s Issues and supported by women, then I think a closer look at the behaviour of women, especially woman-to-woman relationships is in order.
Sorry to harp on conversations with my wife; but we were discussing the attitude of women in the game World of Warcraft(WOW). More so, the resentment women have towards one another in-game. Apparently, because my wife gets on well with the guys, laughs at the piggish jokes and burps, she tells me that she gets quite a bit of playa-hating from the Bra-Burning Brigade(BBB). She’s been told in not the same words that it’s a betrayal of women to laugh at misogynistic jokes and such( such being having political common sense). I explained to her that she is feeling the “Sarah Palin Effect”, and such treatment is to be expected towards a Conservative woman and “Women from Mars” so to speak. Quite simply, the Left and the BBB hate because these women are not towing the line.
The bright side is my wife and Sarah need not take such hate personally; because if it wasn’t my wife in WOW, and Sarah Palin in politics, the crosshairs of the Left/BBB would just fall to the next favourite gal of their avowed enemies.
It just makes sense. We see this vitriol from women in many industries, it’s quite well documented.
    It’s nature.

  25. The only reason the left is so against Sarah Palin is that they are afraid that her ideas, like Ronald Reagans, will become popular again and spread to the voting public and end the entitlement society that the left is building. If they werent deathly afraid of her, they would ignore her.

  26. She she can do far more damage writing publicly about him than the other way around when it comes right down to it.
    ~Jim
Sarah Palin has more important things to do.
There are a lot of people she could have sued in the last 3 years, but again, she has more important things to do.
“I’m trying to think when, in my 81 yrs, I’ve seen anyone (other than Hitler and Stalin of course) vilified a much as Sarah Palin.
    ~gellen
You must have slept through Richard M. Nixon’s carreer as a politician.

  27. Hope Joe’s wearing his pants when he peeps over and under the fence.

  28. It goes without saying that liberals lack common sense and critical thinking skills. Who goes to extreme lengths to write a book about someone (ie- move next door)? If a liberal could give me a satisfactory answer, I would be happy.
I won’t hold my breath, though.

  29. Meanwhile, back in Mass., a notorious biker gang is taking out a long term lease on a property immediately adjacent to Joe’s place.
    Well, one can always hope.

  30. all the normal people realize Sarah Palin as one of them.the dirty unwashed in the eye’s of the left elitist, someone who can say all the things they want to say, but have been told they too are stupid, and all the other things said about Palin

  31. The sooner the Libs leave Sarah alone the sooner she can quit acting like Tina Fey.

  32. Alienated @ 12:58 says it well.
I still think the neighbourhood should have a welcoming block party for Joe.

  33. Oz 3.29. Yes, you’re right, I should have said Nixon. He left a broken man, but we can be sure that Sarah won’t be broken. Difference is the ego. Marvelously absent in her case.
Another reason the very mention of her twists the guts of her detractors.

  34. “representing a party whose goal is to protect the wealthiest 1% of society”
HAhaHahaha… might as well start posting under a new handle after that one… yes, the Republican Party is utterly focused on protecting the 300,000 wealthiest people of the Hollywood and pop culture industry, they’re like two peas in a pod… utterly co-dependent… why didn’t I see this before…

  35. bleetymouthy said: “…a party whose goal is to protect the wealthiest 1% of society…”
Is that why Wall Street donated something like 3-1 in favor of Barry this time out?
Come on bleety, at least try a little eh? This is like shooting fish in a barrel.

  36. Is that really her fence? I believe I read a post somewhere else that mentioned that it was not actually hers lol.Photoshop maybe.

  37. Hence the title of this blog Phantom ……
Now I wonder If Obama should offer 1200 Natnl Guards to patrol the fence?

  38. Gellen at 01:04 and spike 1 at 03:27 are right on the money; she scares the hell out of lefties who haven’t anyone with that kind of sincerity, whether she’s seen as bright or not on geopolitical stuff.

  39. The fence would work in Arizona too methinks!!
Necessity is the mother of invention, as the saying goes…..

  40. Depending on local ordinances, a bullseye pinned to the new fence could make great target practice, for some.
    By city authorboy?
    …NOT! You get my drift?
