  1. Are there laws regarding sharing COSTS of mutually used fences?
Rangeland farmers know all about this concept.

  2. abcd: “yes, the Republican Party is utterly focused on protecting the 300,000 wealthiest people of the Hollywood and pop culture industry, they’re like two peas in a pod… utterly co-dependent… why didn’t I see this before…”
Um, you think America’s wealthiest folks live and work in Hollywood? Think again.

  3. bleet – your “central point” being that evil Republican puppet-masters hand-picked Palin because they figured that rubes would vote for her ’cause she’s dumb, the better to consolidate their evil grip on power and further the interests of their oligarchic paymasters?
So much “(re-)thinking going on”. You are blowing consistently our minds.

  4. The author sounds like a creep. Whatever happened to people having some basic sense of decency?
Palin should have just rented a house somewhere else and moved out for 5 months.
Unfortunately the pictures of the fence that has been erected make her look like a hillbilly.

  5. bleety said: “I’ll note that no-one has disputed the central point of my comment.”
That’s because their is no central point to your comment. Nor any peripheral, tangential, secondary or even tertiary points.
You comment is utterly fact-free and completely pointless. Nothing but a weak effort to annoy people you hate by attacking a public figure from another country.
Democrats increase taxes, increase the power of central planning Federal bureaucracies, nationalize private companies, introduce corruption and cronyism in everything they touch, oppress people and take away their personal freedoms along with their money.
Republican incumbents, with a few notable exceptions, sit on the sidelines with their thumbs up their butts and let ’em do it. Because Republicans in Washington are lazy, stupid sacks if ineffectual sh1t.
Everyone who can see lightning and hear thunder knows this, bleety baby. Why do you think half the US adult population is going to turn out at Tea Parties this weekend?

  6. Well bleety, I’ve always assumed you were a scrawny unpopular teenager typing one handed in Mum’s basement, so we shall have to see who’s mental picture is the more accurate, won’t we.
Tea Parties will be particularly well attended Memorial Day weekend, and -not- reported on Tuesday except in the blogs. Deal with it, weenie.

  7. “wealthy overlords”
Ah yes. I’ve heard about them.
What movie was it in? Dr. Zhivago?
I remember there was a lot of snow.
A “dupe and a shill”? Is that from the western with that tall guy and Miss Kitty?

[….Are there laws regarding sharing COSTS of mutually used fences?

The laws throughout N. America say only if there is a shared NEED and a shared boundary.
A farmer ranging livestock must restrain that livestock but the adjoining farmer without ranging livestock has not obligation to contribute. Cash-crop or confinement livestock operations have no need for a fence. In most cases, the is not obligation to pay for specialist fencing such as “sheep-netting”.
