Distinguished Lecture, Documentary & Interview Symposia

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this week’s Small Dead Animals distinguished lecture, documentary & interview symposium. This afternoon, for your delectation, here is Daniel Kahneman, professor emeritus of psychology & public affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School, and 2002 Nobel Laureate in Economics, presenting his Charles & Martha Hitchcock Explorations of the Mind lecture, Intuition: The Marvels and The Flaws ¤ in 2007 (56:00).

  1. Fascinating. I find this particularly interesting in that I prefer to attribute my successes in the stock market to my effective intuition, but am often left to wonder if it is not more a matter of luck. This lecture shifts me a bit more to the “luck” position.

  2. This being the hour of the terminus of our scheduled interregnum for
this week’s symposium, I look forward to seeing you again during
our next symposium, and as always, thanks for this space-time, Kate.

    This symposium is now closed.
