  1. Why don’t they offer a commemorative two- or three-pack: Billy beer, a rack of Clinton memorial ribs, and the Hussein plate? In less than four years, they’ll all be equally valuable (and unsellable).

  2. If I were Greek, I’d open a restaurant and stock it with Obama plates! You know what happens to the dishes at the end of (alcohol fueled) fine Greek dining?
    Opa!

  3. A great idea for a Canadian entrepreneur to copy the Obama plate and make some for the day Canada’s coalition government is sworn in.
One commemorative plate signaling Canada’s new socialist / communist government, featuring Leader Layton, Rae, and Duceppe as alternating Prime Ministers.
And a second commemorative plate for Wetern Canada declaring a new country – Canada Free West.

  4. Then I watched the TV ad – So I want to repost
Gonna buy 5 copies for ma mother…
Ah sh-t! Strict limit of 2 per customer. Damn!

  5. Bush must be very proud. Without him, none of this would have been possible.
Thank God for Bush. His former supporters are surprisingly quiet when he gets attacked these days. Useful idiots?

  6. Ah yes the enlightened ones have spoken again like rusty, enlightened like Gomer Pyle, rusty go ask the 7.5 million children that can now attend school in Afganistan how much they hate George Bush. You warm and cozy stinking liberals have to move on, Bush has liberated millions so someday down the road in Afganistan there can be an ungrateful pathetic little pimple like rusty sniping away from his mommys basement at another great leaader who helps liberate oppressed people.

  7. Rusty – which “former” supporters are you talking about? Powell, McClellan? Bush’s present supporters still support him. Are you referring to the fact that the spotlight has turned to Obamarama? GWB is diligently riding out the rest of his term making sure he doesn’t pardon some really bad guys like the hero of some – you know, a guy named Clinton(cigar Bill?). By the way, where are all his “former” supporters?

  8. The misogynist “historical society” has omitted the first African-American First Lady.
    Outrageous!

  9. Isn’t it nice to see a Democratic President-elect be automatically celebrated by the MSM, Hollyweird and so on (ie. by everyone within the Left and amongst the clueless apolitical masses)?
If it was a Republican, we know there’d be moonbat riots all over the place instead of an outpouring of respect for the new, duly-elected President-Elect.
Obviously, the Left and the brainless apolitical masses will disregard any and all negatives, no matter how serious, when it comes to a Democrat. Obama can do anything, anything at all, and the Left/MSM/Hollyweird will protect him at all costs from consequences and will defend him if his consequent exposure as a bad guy doing bad things becomes impossible to cover up. We saw that with Clinton, but I fear we ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
It also disgusts me that even many on the “Right” have been pulling their punches so much and continue to do so even now, particularly wrt the Constitutional eligibility issue.
Talk about a free pass, a get-out-of-trouble-free card… it can’t be a good thing, for it’s sending the wrong message to Obama and the Obamites that they can do anything they want and get away with it. Is this a good thing?

  10. Just think if the going to be soon ‘formed collection of socialist/communist government’ in Canada and with the new Obama and obamamites socialist/communist government in USA. Kanadastan and USSA will be one big happy country. Maybe Obama could see in the future and his 57 state remark wasn’t far off.

  11. and now we learn:
“The myth of Obama’s ‘small donor base’
    Rick Moran
Conventional wisdom (fanned by Obama supporters in the press) says that Barack Obama’s record haul of campaign contributions came from ordinary Americans giving small amounts of money to the cause.
That turns out to be a load of horse manure.”

  12. WOW! Was that real? I kept waiting for the punchline thinking for sure it was a joke. My opinion of the average voter just sank another notch. I think Churchill would gladly revise his quote on democracy to “The best argument against democracy is to spend 15 seconds observing a leftard.”

  13. Re the two plate limit – somehow methinks that if you “call now” you will be excited to find out that due to a “special offer” that “expires soon” you can order more than the two plate limit. But I am reticent to test my hypothesis, thanks

  14. I have seen multiple offerings of plates, coins and posters bearing the image of Obama, “The One”.
I now await the condom that is emblazoned with the images of Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Clinton. That will truely represent what is going to happen to the American public over the next four years.

  15. Ahhh, lovely. But I’m thinking little Johnny wouldn’t be too pleased to find THAT under the Christmas tree. Could be dangerous.
I’m waiting for the Progressive Pork Party Commemorative Plate myself.

  16. It’s a good deal, the plate comes with stand included. Catch is, who could stand to look at it?
I like the “Porcelain Frisby Throwing” proposal by Kathy.

  17. they will make nice sets with the Obama soup bowls. when the folks are standing in the soup lines they can contemplate the leaders face while they are waiting for the handouts. no more mortgage payments , no more gas payments, free food. is there nothing the obamessiah cant do?

  18. After that I’m either sick with the flu or I just had to vomit after watching this. What’s next :”The book of Obama”? The world Victory used so carelessly in this ad, sounds like they won a war.

  19. I have been misinterpreted. I do not think Bush was bad. I did find it strange though that being associated with Bush was a ‘bad’ thing.
And the supporters I am talking about are the ones here, who after 7 years of supporting Bush, chose to treat him with utter disdain when McCain came on the scene. You know who you are. Not the Bush administration. Only the rational elders of smalldeadanimals.com
The Republicans suffered because of Bush. To suggest otherwise is to live in a cave. That doesn’t change the fact that Bush decided the election n Obama’s favor.

  20. “The Americn Historic Society”?! Sounds like some respected, august organization of…of…oh dear. I googled it, and they are not historians or educators, they are–National Consumer Marketing? In trouble with the BBB for alleged shady dealings, out from chapter 11 to sell you a plate! Make sure you put that Official Certificate in a safe place!

  21. rusty – do not blame President Bush for the Big 0 victory; blame Unca Mo/UN/Liberano piggies. President Bush threw a grenade on the axis of evil’s (above)$$$ gravytrain! The MSM slaves of unca mo/UN/Liberanos/Demos decried the invasion of Iraq and the death of the brutal dictator Saddam Hussein. Saddam had been contravening UN rules of disclosure, he had been selling oil from Iraq to individuals(the Unca Mo gang) for cash instead of trading for food and medical supplies for his people, the latter was the UN deal afer the Iraq defeat in the first gulf War – and our government and the UN and the US Demos (with MSM shrills) were collaborating with a regime that murdered millions of their own people and pulled out toenails, raped, fried genitals, ripped out guts of live victims…to any who dared voice dissent with the Evil UN puppet, Saddam.
President Bush is a good man, IMO. I have always liked and respected him because he wants all people to be free from persecution by brutal totalitarian governments. Godspeed, Mr. President. I will miss you at the helm of the USA., I am certain that in the very near future the American people will miss you too.

  22. Think that’s bad…saw on ctv this am,some guy doing wood-carving of that other ‘holy family’ the Obamasiah’s,and putting it in his Xmas Nativity scene right alongside the real Jesus! yup..what would Christmas be without the chosen one???

  23. I saw the advert on television for this a few days ago. I couldn’t help but laugh. Here we are commemorating something that doesn’t even BEGIN for almost another two months.

Now that was a fine one to end the evening on 🙂

  25. LMAO! Ook… Look, I’m liberal, but I didn’t really care for Obama (don’t think he’s qualified just yet, if ever, and I voted Nader), but this is just over the top. I thought the t-shirts and Obama hats were one thing, but COME ON! A plate with 22-carat gold on it? It’s a plate, for christ sakes! Don’t put it on your wall; that just looks tacky. Eat off it!
What’s this “unprecedented demand” nonsense?? O.o Of COURSE it’s unprecedented! When’s the last time before this someone was selling Obama plates? And I think the announcer may be a little gay- he commented on Obama’s smile and eyes. lol
