Just another reason why I have more or less stopped reading any of the Sun papers. At one time I used to read them all the time because they were (until the National Post came along)the only right-of-centre paper in Canada. But lately they have definitely started drifting to the left. Not sure if this has anything to do with the TorSun’s purchase by Quebecor or not, but it does raise ones suspicions.
I’m afraid I’ll have to defend gleeson. He’s not really a pathetic, paranoid loon. Actually, he’s just prepared to advance this fraud because he’s driven by rabid bush hatred, and he’s willing to sacrifice his credibility to satisfy it. He’s prepared to lie to his readers if it helps his political views. Oh, and he’s probably just trying to get someone to read his column and respond.

I think whenever the words “The REAL reason for 9/11 . . ” come out of somebody’s mouth, it should be grounds for immediate commitment to a mental institution.
Links to the engineers reports are very informative. The Rosie’s and Gleesons might have a difficult time interpreting the graphs and structural info.(selective listening) Gleeson blew it bigtime when he referenced how ‘quickly’ the steel was removed from the sight…??? Did it not take almost a year to clean up? Sad part is those who will take his( and Rosie’s) word for it without thinking and checking.
None of the conspiracy theories made sense to me, here’s why.
First we all hear about how hot it was and that steel has a way higher melting point. Well if in the old days I left records out and they warped and turned into useless balls of wax is it because they melted? No it isn’t! In fact I beams are so frail that when heated it is known that they get soft and malleable. Thus this webpage says even a fake ceiling makes them stronger.

Now there are many threads and tangents that add up to a host of unbelievable events that to be a conspiracy buff you have to believe more than a bunch of islamic thugs who do suicide bombing around the world are willing to do it here too. Rosie o’donnell, Gleeson and others think all the spurious logic in the world is more believable than a group of people doing once more what they have done in the rest of the world.

Anyone with 10% of normal brain function knows that keeping even a minor story completely secret is almost impossible. Now imagine a massive conspiracy involving at least dozens of people. How long would it take for someone to rat another out. On top of this they would all have to be psychotic murderers in the like Timothy McVeigh to kill their own countrymen.
In my lifetime I have never seen the divide between reality and the wackiness of the left wing conspiracy theorist as we see now. What is truly scary is the MSM media is convincing more people every day that the absurd and the wacky is the truth.

years ago.
The London FP is London’s only daily but is also a regional newspaper and in my view was editorially a mushy left of centre paper under the previous ownership.
One of the late Pierre Berton’s kids, Paul, is the currently the editor.
Recently however I have noticed a change in their editorial page policy, having each editorial signed by the person writing the editorial.
Subsequently, Michael Jenkinson, Licia Corbella, and Lorrie Goldstein have appeared editorially in the FP somewhat countering what used to be Liberal style mush from the old FP editorial board.
This marks a more right wing flavour to the FP.
Quebecor in the meantime has also purchased my home city Woodstock-Sentinel-Review, Simcoe, Ingersoll,and Tillsonburg papers as well as some shopping -news weeklies.
So while the Wpg. Sun readers may be upset with this Gleeson guy, here in Ontario at least in London there seems to be a shift (from the top) to the right.
If this seems off topic on the Gleason story it may shed some light on the media coverage by the chain overall, so take heart, L.J.

Fire from wood can’t melt steal. A fire with 110 stories worth of varying materials under the pressure of 110 stories worth of materials burning for several months can and did.
The problem with conspiracy theorists (beyond the obvious mental illness and lack of coherency and logic) is that they take sophomoric and incorrect information/opinions and make giant leaps in their assumptions based on these foolish half-facts and fantasies.
To believe it was an inside job requires that thousands of people in Washington can all keep a secret. If after reading this last line you still think there was a conspiracy, kill yourself as you’re too stupid to live.

Another prominent conspiracy theorist,alex jones,was speculating that the shootings in Blacksberg could have been orchestrated by the gov’t. These people(ct’s)have no sense,morals or shame.Anything to make a buck and keep thier face in the news.
Be sure to ask him how this vast criminal conspiracy was able to pull off 9/11, yet somehow incapable of planting “weapons of mass destruction” after arriving in Iraq.

No, the shooting at VT was a conspiracy between the Democratic Party, the Brady Campaign, and the rest of the gun control lobby to further their agenda for more gun control.
