Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

OT, (not sure if this is even a “topic”),
but that new Strategic Counsel poll shows the CPC in majority territory.
Kate, I’m with you in not complaining too much about Harper’s centrism. Better a right leaning centrist than a Liberal, and we have to start somewhere.
BTW, I posted the poll in a comment at libblog “Red Tory”,
and he deleted it and told me to “go f&ck yourself”.
I guess the libs are a little touchy about a possible Harper majority.
Explain something to me, please, Biff. You post a comment you acknowledge is off topic. Above the comment posting area at the bottom of this page it says: Before submitting, review the post to ensure your comment is on topic. What is it I don’t understand?
Yo Vitruvious – You remind me of a kid in my grade 3 class. He used to rat on us to the teacher all the time. Guess whaT? Teacher is watching and she knows. Be careful. You could get a schoolyard ass kicking.
I’m with Vitruvius on this one. Let’s follow the rules and stick to the topic.
Speaking of which, I didn’t get it. I checked National Newswatch and couldn’t find it. What am I missing?
It was a google advert video for Home Depot. That’s the opening frame on it until you click it. It’s probably gone by now.
My first reaction was probably one the ad designers didn’t count on – the light fixture chain looks more like a rope…
…that ‘rope’ is a circa 70’s lava lamp chain. I forgot I still had mine in a basement box till the step-daughter wanted it for her retro room.
It suddenly disappeared after that.
Kinda morbid,Kate!
All the political junkies around here had their ‘thoughts’ somewhere else…
actually I was looking for a link to a story about the Libs hanging themselves(politically).
Vitruvius
please refrain from going off topic!!
