The Los Angeles riots are not organic:

  • A number of NGOs have been implicated in this. Foremost is Coalition for Humane Immigration Rights or CHIRLA, and the photos of signs show they were printed by PSLWEB / Party for Socialism and Liberation.
  • CHIRLA has the EIN of 954421521. Most of its private funding appears to be from DAFs, which are the hardest to trace. However 34 million of its reported 45 million in revenue are from government grants.
  • The group which printed the signs for protests, Party for Socialism and Liberation, is not a nonprofit – they are a literal Communist party.
  • Neville Singham – sorry. Real nice guy. Activist who became a billionaire by pushing Chinese propaganda worldwide.<

Dispatches from the Maple Gulag Truck Stop

Today Gord Magill interviews Humboldt Saskatchewan trucker and Canadian trucking legend, Kim Wylie. Kim became known for this viral video he made after the Humboldt tragedy.

Voice Of GO(r)D is honored to bring you Mr Kim Wylie, a veteran trucker from Humboldt, Saskatchewan (yes, that Humboldt) who, like myself, is doing what he can to raise alarm bells about the state of the industry, and offer policy solutions to improve life for all of us out on the road. Working with friend and former guest of the show, Trent Lalonde, Kim is highlighting issues with training and licensure of truckers, and despite difficulty in getting policy makers in Saskatchewan to listen, seem to be making headway next door in Alberta, where discussions of recognizing truckers with trade certification are happening in earnest.

Quacks Will Be Quaking

Daily Wire;

The Federal Trade Commission is setting its sights on the industry pushing transgender medical procedures on minors, documents obtained by The Daily Wire show, a potential major step in the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on radical gender ideology.

The FTC, an agency tasked with protecting American consumers, will hold a day-long workshop in July on transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers, according to an internal memo obtained by The Daily Wire. That’s a likely indicator of the agency’s intentions: the FTC often holds such events before initiating legal action against an industry to gain information, gather evidence, and solicit the input of affected Americans.

“Under the Federal Trade Commission Act, the FTC is provided broad authority to protect consumers from unfair and deceptive trade acts and practices,” the memo reads. “There is now considerable reason to believe that the doctors and medical providers pushing [gender-affirming care] on minors are knowingly deceiving parents by exaggerating [gender-affirming care’s] ‘benefits’ and downplaying its harmful side effects.”

Here’s hoping for more of Robert’s photos during his stay in Sedona – the next best thing to being there. In the spirit of reciprocal trade, this photo from the Grand Canyon State was taken en route to the Phantom Ranch, a trip that inspired musician/husband James Frazer to write The Ballad of Twinkie.  The song answers the age old question: What do you get when you cross a rogue mule with a narrow ledge and a thousand foot fall?

A must-listen song for anyone thinking of riding a mule from the national park rim to the Colorado River. Cursed with the worst mule, the song’s conclusion is my own:

Sure, make your own decisions – do whatever you like
But for me I’m not going again unless I can hike
His daddy was a donkey, his Momma was a horse
They call that intraspecies intercourse

Wisconsin Supreme Court: polls just closed. High turn out, *unexpectedly* resulting in a shortage of ballots and registration forms.

Update: Wisconsin Question 1, which adds a Voter ID requirement to the state’s Constitution has passed, the Supreme Court seat looks to be retained by the Democrats.

A Cease Fire In the Trade War

The Libranos: Bad Randys

Western Standard;

Global Health Imports Corp., an Alberta-based medical supply company co-founded by Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault, has been barred from bidding on federal contracts for five years.

Blacklock’s Reporter
says the Department of Public Works placed the firm on its Ineligibility And Suspension List following an investigation into its business practices.

“We continuously assess the risk a supplier may pose to the federal government,” testified Catherine Poulin, assistant deputy minister, at a Commons ethics committee hearing.

She said multiple sources, including civil and criminal lawsuits, factored into the decision. A recent Edmonton Police investigation, she added, met the threshold for action.
