John DEIre

Robby Starbuck;

John Deere CEO John May should resign or be fired over this video. Listen up because you won’t believe what he admits.

He admits to seeking specific races for board seats and that “diverse” board members have questioned why certain non-diverse people were hired and how to ensure that 2 “diverse” candidates were ready for that job in the future.

This sounds like discrimination against White employees to me. How is this legal?

The “W” Word

No one knows why.

Despite her record-breaking college success at Iowa, and the impressive start to her WNBA career with the Indiana Fever, The Athletic claims Clark will not be heading to Paris with Team USA for this summer’s Olympics.

The 22-year-old is bringing more attention to women’s basketball than ever before, with her highly-anticipated debut breaking ESPN viewership records last month.

Nevertheless, it is believed there is no room for her in USA’s Olympic team, which has left Portnoy incensed.

The Barstool Sports chief said in an explosive video rant on X: ‘This is about Caitlin Clark being left off the Olympic team… how dumb are these women?

But… The Privilege

National Post- ‘Overwhelming majority of the Canadian poor are white,’ report finds

At the low end, defined by low after-tax income, some 58 per cent or 1.6 million people living in poverty are white, or what StatsCan refers to as “not a visible minority nor Indigenous.” For the other figure, which measures poverty based on the cost of living, 2.5 million people or 64.4 per cent of the group living in poverty are white.

“In other words, the overwhelming majority of the Canadian poor are ‘white,’ and thus cannot receive race-based allocations from governments if unchangeable characteristics such as skin colour or ethnicity are accounted for in policy,” the group said in a press release announcing the findings.

“Democracy”

Daily Sceptic- ‘Global Majority’ is Just Anti-White Propaganda

This phrase is a fancy way of referring to all the non-white people in the world, and then arbitrarily lumping them together into one giant, supposedly homogenous whole as representing around 85% of the planet’s population – in direct opposition to white folk, who make up only under 10% of all the world’s people. (I don’t know what’s happened to the missing few percentile of humans there, by the way: maybe they’re just unacceptably ‘white adjacent’, like Jews or Moomins?)

DEI The Friendly Skies

“DEI is the drop you put in the bucket, and the whole bucket changes.”

Rufo: If they have lost the love of building airplanes, what is the love, if any, that they bring to the job?

Insider: Status games rule every boardroom in the country. The DEI narrative is a very real thing, and, at Boeing, DEI got tied to the status game. It is the thing you embrace if you want to get ahead. It became a means to power.

DEI is the drop you put in the bucket, and the whole bucket changes. It is anti-excellence, because it is ill-defined, but it became part of the culture and was tied to compensation. Every HR email is: “Inclusion makes us better.” This kind of politicization of HR is a real problem in all companies.

If you look at the bumper stickers at the factories in Renton or Everett, it’s a lot of conservative people who like building things—and conservative people do not like politics at work.

The radicalization of HR doesn’t hurt tech businesses like it hurts manufacturing businesses. At Google, they’re making a large profit margin and pursuing very progressive hiring policies. Because they are paying 30 percent or 40 percent more than the competition in salary, they are able to get the top 5 percent of whatever racial group they want. They can afford, in a sense, to pay the “DEI tax” and still find top people.

But this can be catastrophic in lower-margin or legacy companies. You are playing musical chairs, and if you do the same things that Google is doing, you are going to end up with the bottom 20 percent of the preferred population.

White Rural Rage

Those Deplorables aren’t bad people, they’re just poor and stupid.

[blah blah blah snipped]

The result — which at some level I still find hard to understand — is that many white rural voters support politicians who tell them lies they want to hear. It helps explain why the MAGA narrative casts relatively safe cities like New York as crime-ridden hellscapes and rural America as the victim not of technology but of illegal immigrants, wokeness and the deep state.

At this point you’re probably expecting a solution to this ugly political situation. Schaller and Waldman do offer some suggestions. But the truth is that while white rural rage is arguably the single greatest threat facing American democracy, I have no good ideas about how to fight it.

Chatter here.

How do they hate you? Let them list the ways.
