Unlike CTV and the Montreal Gazette, CBC conspicuously omitted any mention of the fact that the rioters were pro-Palestinian activists. I guess they wanted to spare the Palestinian cause any bad press.

Who looted the 98 trucks in Gaza?
Shocking pogroms against Jews in Amsterdam – fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv report that the attacks were premeditated by groups of Arabs.
They gathered in clusters of 5 to 10 in alleys and key exits from various train stations, particularly around Dam Square and the streets near Israeli hotels.
They had precise information on where to wait, and as soon as they spotted Israelis, they attacked with knives, bats, and other weapons, with some reports of vehicles with Palestinian flags involved in hit-and-run incidents.
The police left Maccabi fans unaccompanied after they exited the Johan Cruyff Arena, providing no escort from the moment they boarded the trains to their hotels.
One man is heard pleasing “I’m not Jewish”. He was beaten regardless.
It took the police nearly an hour and a half to respond, and many fans recorded police vehicles standing idle while the Arab crowd not only attacked but also threw fireworks into hotels where Israelis were hiding.
One fan, who managed to escape after a terrifying hour reached Amsterdam Airport covered in blood and injuries, expressed his frustration, saying, “The Dutch police sold us out to let the Arabs lynch us.”
Israel’s Prime Minister ordered the immediate release of two rescue planes to assist the citizens.

But amidst that ubiquitous reports of the elimination of Yahya Sinwar—the extraordinarily evil man most responsible for thousands of deaths on Israeli and Palestinian sides — is highly disturbing information on who were his bodyguards. This just appeared on Ynet.
“To confirm Sinwar’s identity, soldiers photographed the body and sent the images to the Israeli police’s forensic unit. Assistant Commissioner Aliza Raziel, head of the unit, confirmed that the teeth in the photos matched Sinwar’s dental records from his time in Israeli custody.“We had Sinwar’s dental data on file, and the match was clear,” Raziel said. “This was one of the most significant moments this year, allowing us to quickly provide critical information to the field.”
Further evidence suggesting Sinwar’s death included the presence of a senior Hamas commander known to frequently accompany him. Reports from Gaza indicated the other two terrorists killed were Sinwar’s bodyguards, one of whom worked as a teacher for UNRWA and the other a high-ranking official in Hamas’ National Security Office.”

There’s always a job at the 7-Eleven.
Most of Hezbollah’s cash and gold reserves were destroyed in Israel’s recent strike that eliminated the Hezbollah leader at their headquarters. An estimated $1.5 billion in cash was incinerated, and 2,000 pounds of gold were melted into the earth during the attack.
So how’s that been working for them lately?
Hezbollah claims it can handle any IDF invasion in southern Lebanon. They performed surprisingly well in 2006, Yonah Jeremy Bob reminds readers in the Jerusalem Post, and that was without the drone technology that both sides use to great effect. However, the IDF just finished conducting a similar ground war in Gaza and has a much better grasp on combined-arms operations to counter those threats. Plus, Hezbollah had an intact command structure in 2006 and the ability to coordinate attacks and move materiel on the battlefield. Those two capabilities may no longer exist within Hezbollah, even with their tunnel networks — which is the obvious priority for the IDF anyway.
Plus, the IDF continues to attack Hezbollah’s remaining command-control assets in Beirut[…]
That brings us to Lebanon’s response. Previously, Hezbollah and Lebanon’s armed forces coordinated defense plans for the blue line. Now, however, Lebanon’s army has pulled back three miles, leaving Hezbollah alone to face the IDF…
But wait, there’s more.
Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in an interview with @cnnturk said that Iran’s secret services had created a special unit to combat Mossad operating in Iran. However, turns out the head of this unit was himself a Mossad agent, along with 20 other agents, who were responsible for multiple intelligence operations in Iran including stealing nuclear docs and assassinating several Iranian nuclear scientists before allegedly fleeing to Israel
