Thank you for sharing this. There are a lot of good reasons to ignore the Red Cross.
Their reaction to 10/7 and their grift operations around the world are top of the list.
    This was funny.

  2. So very good. You have to laugh at these people and organizations because logic and outrage have failed to get the message across.

  3. In my part of the USA where tornados are prevalent, we don’t expect much from the red cross. They seem to handle publicity for fema and do not handle it very well. FEMA is as useless as tits on a boar hog. Down here, the local law enforcement, firemen and women, the statewide Oklahoma Baptists, the Mennonite churches, they are the ones with food kitchens and providing housing for those in need.

    1. Back in 2013 there were major floods in our area. One small town to the south was hardest hit and – thinks to the malice of the provincial government (local MLA was from the opposition) – had a community stewing for months in flood waters because the provincial authorities wouldn’t authorize pumps to clean it up. Not to mention that the RCMP went door to door in boats on a major gun grab.
The local Red Cross was soliciting funds to help this town, and a fair few folk gave freely. However, turned out the Red Cross has other plans for the funds, and it wasn’t helping the displaced townfolk; it was for “longer term” projects.
Who did go in? Samaritan’s Purse, which had buses of volunteers travelling south to help clean up the mess. I’ll support them.
Red Cross is off my list forever.

  4. Didn’t they mean The Red Crescent?

And did you notice the American-looking caricature of a white liberal Uber driver? Whereas every actual Uber driver in America has a tan and a slight (OK, heavy) Arabic accent?

    1. Google Israel hostage release Red Cross

You’ll find lots of pictures of Red Cross vehicles returning hostages

    2. Vere tu buddee? In a thick pajeet or arabic “English” accent. I don’t understand how them and the south Sudanese and Somalian people can live here in -40 C with >80km/hr wind, but I guess “free” welfare and other provided social services are gravy compared to where they come from.

  5. I just love , when the actual hostage handover is displayed online, some people actually believe the smiles of the hostages as genuine. I can’t imagine the guilt the hostages still feel months later, having been used in that way by there tormentor/ jailers.

    1. I imagine they’re happy to be free and returning to the arms of their loved ones. No shame in that.
