When you join the Military to serve your country, you have expectations that they’ll have your back.
Only to find out that your not serving your country but other assholes agenda.

You may not have served, I didn’t, but I don’t mock those who did. All four of my brothers-in-law served: one in the artillery at the Fulda Gap, one as a crew chief on B-52’s in Thailand, and two in the Marines in I-Corp. Thankfully, all came back uninjured, except the guy in Thailand who came back with a drug habit.
Some Canadians served there, too. The Aussies send a number of troops. All deserve respect.
I did not serve either. I had a lottery number under 50. I was going to Nam. But Richard Milhaus Nixon ENDED the VietNam quagmire in the year of my HS graduation. In Trumpian fashion … NIXON got US out of a War we refused to win … and probably shouldn’t have been fighting anyway (thanks JFK and LBJ). But I never spit on anyone who served like our resident troll. Much respect for those who served, including my own father who joined the Army Air Corps at age 17 in 1941 and participated in 3-wars … WWII, Korea, and Nam (as a reservist in the USAF)

I am literally repulsed by the people who have recently become my neighbors after 38 years living in the same home, raising my family in a stable, conservative upper, upper, middle class suburb. Now, I live in a community of Karen’s who snitch on middle schoolers not wearing a mask at the skate park. So the community … I kid you not … just voted to FENCE OFF the community skate park. I served as well in our Cdn Forces…such as they were (Unified at the time), did a few yrs and decided to say adios. If I could find a decent T, I would have no issue wearing it whatsoever.
Have always been a supporter of the military…and will continue to do so…the enlisted ranks that is up to WO First Class. The Officer Corp is/has gone beyond Woke.
