  4. His logic, of course, could be attacked on dozens of points of theological inaccuracy and outright hypocricy. It is, however, profoundly disturbing that this guy is “allowed” to spread this hatred. He should have had handcuffs slapped on him in the studio.

    The Muslim concept of dar-al-harb, the House of War, encompasses all parts of the world in which Islam does not rule. It is a house of war because the infidel will not accept Islam; the infidel is to blame for the conflict, not the intolerant Muslims that want to re-barbarize infidels.
    So what he says is correct according to the Koran, the hadiths, and Islamic scholarly teaching.
    I don’t much doubt that there are Muslims like this in Canada.

Personally I feel the questioner or his bosses are totally at fault here…they know that you can never get a word/question in when interviewing Muslims…….Muslims are superlative in almost every interview I’ve ever listened to because we haven’t figured out how to shut them up politely……we need new interviewing techniques……they don’t respect us and try to indoctrinate us subliminally/telepathicly constantly when they are on air……….it’s happened so often I can’t see why our MSM and BBC etc.are allowing themselves be made fools of abroad too

    He not only perceives me as a criminal, he perceives my children as criminals and thus eligible for attack. This takes me from simple disagreement on philosophical/religious dispute to an act of war. I will protect my children when threatened.

    and the man is totally in line with what real muslims believe, That said, it illustrates the scope of the problem.
    Western society has propogated this myth of the ‘civilians’ who are responsible for nothing and go where they please ect. It can be a demeaning term when security services and the like use ‘civilian’ to represent those who just don’t happen to be on the government paycheck, and therefore must be a bunch of helpless haps, can’t be trusted ect. Or ‘civilian’ used by lefties and bleading heart people as a name for themselves and the general population, as an excuse for why they should not be resposible for anything when the shit hits the fan. In fact I find both uses demeaning.
    The truth is we are all involved in this war, IT IS WAR, The main divide is whether or not you muslim or not, but there are other divisions among the population. The muslim sympathizers, generally lefties, these people are not necessarily muslims, yet they will protect them to the last breath, possibly motivated by self hatred, or another namby pamby excuse, all have the inability to understand history and see the larger picture. Yet all among these groups are islam’s soldiers!
    The rest of us who are trying to stand up for western civilization are also soldiers. We may not carry a gun or be directly involved in physical defense, but we still provide supporting roles, economic ect. And young men to fight in the first place. (brings me to another reason our civilization is in deep shit)
    Our low birthrates are no advantage for our civilization. Women of childbearing years in fact play the most important supporting role. They are the soldier producers, take them out or control them and your enemy is screwed. Western women today who make the ‘conscious choice’ not to procreate are killing western civilization. Feminism is killing us!! Its a handicap Islam doesn’t have putting us at serious disadvantage.
    In a battle like this everyone’s a soldier playing a role somewhere, some don’t even know it. Being a ‘civilian’ is not an option

    Well, speaking only for myself, I read history and political theory constantly. However, I don’t consider the history of Canada normative. In other words, when I think about what we should be doing, that is, what our foreign policy should be, I don’t assume that there’s some kind of moral imperative that it be the same as it was before. In other words, whether we have been “a nation of peacekeepers” is largely irrelevant to the question of what we should do. In fact, I don’t think we have been “a nation of peacekeepers”. I think we have been lackeys, first of the UK and now of the US. And I think we should stop.
    Might I add: the world is full of highly intelligent people. The fact that someone disagrees with you does not mean that they are stupid or even ignorant.

Regarding the jihad mentality of this imam–or whatever he is–the other, in some ways more terrifying, mentality–housed in the brains of a critical mass of Westerners–is “don’t rock the boat”, “don’t actually stand for anything controversial”, and “if you must, keep as quiet and dispassionate about it as you can”.
    I don’t fit these restrictions and find my inclusion on guest lists dwindling at a fairly swift rate. It’s lonely out here.
    There’s a large number of people I’d love to forward this video to, but I’m not going to. I don’t trust their judgment enough to think that such an action would do anything but cast me as even more of a fanatic than they already think I am. Educate them? I don’t think their “enlightened” but small minded brains are open to anything outside the PC pap they’re addicted to.
    That such (often caring and nice: hey, so am I!) lily livered surrender monkeys are up against a phalanx of cold blooded, venomous snakes, represented by the imam on this tape, is truly scary. (It’s interesting: such friends of mine–I’m reconsidering!–think I’M the scary one.)
    When the cobra–“Nice cobra, pretty cobra”–strikes, it’ll be too late. No schadenfreude there: I’ll be as dead as the “head in the sand” appeasers!
