  1. Waiting for the MSM to start lobbing the “religious zealot” bombs…waiting….waiting….what the hell, if a republican or conservative hear a sneeze and say “Bless You” they go nuts.

  2. Roughly a 1/4 of US voters are Roman Catholic….Hispanics are majority Roman Catholic.
Maobama’s edict that “religious non-profits” must provide free birth control, and pay for abortions for their employees seems destined to force closure of 1/4 of US hospitals.
This is a line in the sand the Roman Catholic clergy and the majority of the Roman Catholic laity WILL NOT CROSS.
Maobama’s administration sees this as a feature not a bug….their intent is to gain TOTAL control of Health Delivery…..Religious Hospitals are unwanted competition.

  3. In this case, three and a half years ago the gullible threw some palm branches in front of the jacka** who has illusions of grandeur and thinks he is the one riding into Jerusalem. Hopefully this bites him in the butt big time.

  4. Well, can’t have a dangerous Christian erasing the lines between Church and state. The outrage from the left will begin shortly, so it is safe to hold your breath till it starts. I think I hear some noise outside, it must be starting already…

  5. That’s a great quote off of AoS Kate! Some other very hilarious posts there, based upon the false prophet OBamBam, and his sermon from his perch.
As stated before, if this was a Repub, the MSM and leftard talking heads would be in overdrive, “He’s a rightwing religious extremist wacko.”
But, this is Obama…..and we hear CRICKETS!

  6. Like Michelle Malkin said First they came for the Catholics. This man child is so out of his element it is pathetic, but he has been placed in this position for more sinister reasons, look at his string pullers, Soros Geffen etc. America better turn off Oprah and vote the right way this fall or there will be no more shining light on the hill after this losers group of “muddled asses” are through with the White house.

  7. Throughout the Bible, care of the needy is an individual/church responsibility. Government hopefully provides order; justice is great, but not to be counted on. The assumption and statement from early on in the Bible is that government will arrogate power and wealth to itself at the expense of the people.
So yeah, Obama’s actions are biblical and can be found in theology under the heading “the fallen and corrupt nature of man.”

  8. 1. The prince of peace (Jesus) would never accept political donations from the money changers (bankers)
    2. The prince of peace would never bail out the money changers with the labour of the flock.
    3. The temple of Goldman Sachs would be levelled to the ground.

  9. If you look closely, you can see a faint halo.
There’ll be a shrine in PQ.
    St. Barack du Tabarnac.

  10. “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”
Jesus didn’t concern himself with matters of the state. It wasn’t his purpose.
And I shouldn’t have to say it but for some reason liberals don’t seem to get it. Government doesn’t represent God and being forced to pay higher taxes does not make you more charitable.

  11. In response to the Romney-Republican effort to win the election,
(and make Obama a first term president.)
Giffords announces Obama has set up a “Two-Term Fund” to prove that Americans really want a second term for the president. Giffords says:
“Will you join them by making a donation of $25 or more to the fund today?”

I plan to send them a scripture note:
    Matthew 17:
    27 go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up;
and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a shekel:
that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

  12. I’m beginning to get the feeling that Obama actually doesn’t WANT another term, and is actively trying to get out of the job any way he can….

  13. Well if we are going to start quoting the bible. This is a little different than the pontiffs take from the productive give to the lazy philosophy.
“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you…. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat (2 Thes 5:6-8,10).”

  14. Obama actually doesn’t WANT another term, and is actively trying to get out of the job any way he can….

Many of us are of the same mind.
    If pushed to reelect,
I think he might even fake a sickness or disabling event.
‘Unable to read the teleprompter,’ etc. etc.
Not that he needs a disabling event.

  15. How to become a spectacular liar: convince yourself that you are so “large” that nothing—not your culture, nor its inadequate categories, not logic, not even the world—could contain you. You are above all that, the maker of truth.
When you need to speak to the little people, to manipulate the common folk, you can say “As a Christian I …”, without even a tincture of guilt. Guilt is for the little people: it helps keep them in line. Of course, you believe you’re just as much a Christian as you are a Muslim or a Marxist: that is, not really. None of these merely human categories could possibly contain you. You laugh at those who accuse you of their sins, like lying and inconsistency. Poor benighted creatures.
This, folks, is the kind of person our culture—its schools and universities—is creating. You can find one near you, in an OWS crowd.
    We shall reap the whirlwind.

  16. Catoclysmos gives the quote. I don’t believe Jesus ever said that one had to wish for more taxes. The first Christians did indeed pay their taxes with great fidelity. Pliny the Younger, in a letter to Trajan wondering whether to persecute some local Christians, says that they live quiet lives and even seem to like paying taxes. It is not surprising that Trajan, as a successful Emperor, counsels to leave them alone.

  17. President Obama offered a new line of reasoning for hiking taxes on the rich on Thursday, saying at the National Prayer Breakfast that his policy proposals are shaped by his religious beliefs.
Yes, “god Damn America.” We already know about that.

  18. Nick nails it – The One is too important a savior to fail no mater how much he lies.
Then again, there must be US equivalence to the United Church of Canada, which has morphed into an NDP finishing school.

  19. Nick, scary isn’t it. Eastern Europe knows something about that and the vast majority want no more of it.

  20. John Lewis, generally not much has changed.
Obama and some other politicians should take a lesson from this.

  21. So when Obama uses God’s name in vain (attaching His name to his to justify what it is that he is doing, calling good evil and evil good- a progressive standard M/O), breaking the Third of the Ten Commandments is irrelevant and therefore justifies the over-taxing of productive people for the good of the lazy and non-motivated in society?
The twisted thinking of Liberal mindset is a never-ending source of amazement and brings a whole new meaning to confusion!!!

  22. Come on now, you know this is just ‘clipping the horns and getting out the jar of halo polisher’ for the inevitable election.
Politicians have one purpose in life, the obtaining and retaining of governmental power.
JC said His Kingdom was not of this world, so I would hedge my bets on the Obama-Nation’s(tm) divine tax policy assertions.
Of course the real test would be to ask Jesus if He gives his stamp of approval to the Obama-Nation(tm)…given that we are all mere mortals falling some distance short of perfection. I would say the electoral jury is still out on that proposition.
Humility and politics often have some rather wide gaps in the line…
Lastly, if one is going to invoke JC one might keep a close eye on the money changers in the Temple as they didn’t get a very favourable… reception.

  23. I think Obama should read the Passage where Jesus says his Kingdom is not of this World.
It will come some day, but in the NT Paul says the LOVE of money is the root of evil. Making it an Idol is the problem, not having it. As for religion, Jesus was none to keen on that either when Gods Commandments where used & twisted for human gain. Reread the windows mite in context. Hes mad at a system that forces a Women to give her last penny, hoping to gain. That too is familiar. Its called the prosperity Gospel.Making human law to bend Gods real design. Sound familiar. You can hear it everyday on radio. Hence the whipping of the Temple money changers ripping people off.
Wonder of wanders he even asked rich people to be his disciples. He only asked the young man (Mark Perhaps) to give up his wealth because he loved it more than God. Not because he had wealth . Than made a joke about it. The eye of a camel through an eye of a needle. When the disciples where shocked, he said ironically. God can do anything in good humor.
I might add he turned down giving bread to the Whole World, Power over the Nations from the Devil whom I might ad he didn’t dispute owned the World.
He lost the lease though when Jesus went to the cross to purchase all mankind with his life’s blood.
So frankly redistributing the wealth from the rich, was a none starter. Man cannot live by bread alone.

  24. Obama has obviously not read the bible — even once.
Because if he had read it then he would know that tax collectors were among the most despised occupations in Jesus’ society — tax collectors were synonymous with sinners and were always grouped together with them in the NT. E.g. “…the tax collectors and sinners”.
Tax collectors were despised by the rich and poor alike, and considered so bad that only Jesus’ death on the cross could save them!
More accurately, the oppressive Roman tax collectors in Jewish society were kinda like today’s Obama Marxist/socialist/OWS people who see heavy taxation as the solution to everything…
(gawd, I love using Liberation Theology in reverse! ;))

  25. Read somewhere the other day (can’t remember where it was) that on occasion, Obama falls to his knees in prayer. Nearly coughed my lungs up.
Is it just me or is what he is saying becoming more ridiculous and his ego inflating exponentially? It is beyond my understanding how anyone could vote for this fraud. (Guess that says something about the intellect of his followers)

  26. WalterF: “Everyone claims Jesus as a follower of one’s beliefs. Few want to follow Jesus.”
Obama’s not the only one who has done that. But is does seem he is the most devious about it.
And I agree with most of the others of you are saying. Obama’s interpretation of the responsibility of those who have been blessed by God is different that that which I was taught in Church and the (private) Christian schools I was fortunate enough (and loved enough) to be sent to by my parents.
Giving, caring for the poor and helping God’s one true church spread his word through the world, is done from the heart and because it is the duty of his children to do so. We do it in love as God has loved us.
The very notion that the government has somehow become God’s vessel for the “redistribution of wealth” can only be called what it is… the handiwork of Satan.
I was going to cite the passage from 2 Thessalonians that Kevin already did, because it says what people who call themselves administers of “social justice” should believe.
Obama needs to start reading his Bible more carefully, and perchance understand. Maybe there are some evangelical Christian Republicans who would like to help him.
    I’m sure there are.

  27. If you’ve read your Bibles, you would know it is a sin to take God’s name in vain and presume upon God’s opinion.
Not that I’m saying Obama has ever read a Bible…

  28. The only comment that Jesus made about taxes, as far as I know, was repeated in Matthew, Mark, and Luke:
“render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God, the things that are God’s. ”
So is Bambam saying he is Caesar? Or Jesus? Or – heaven help us! – both?!

  29. Blessed are the greens, for they shall erect wind farms.
Obama’s messianic complex was somewhat placed behind a curtain since winning the presidency, let’s not forget that world tour in summer 2008 that included stops in Jerusalem and Berlin, the rapture of the adoring masses, the swooning matrons, the … the other signs of an antichrist phenomenon, some speculated.
It was all subdued as Obama transitioned from charismatic lightning-rod of expectation into dull plodding under-achiever of poorly articulated visions that still seemed vaguely utopian but mainly just out of touch with reality to a growing number.
However, as America wakes up to the stark choice available, possibly the plutocrat or the autocrat with the windmill-tilter as a third, some of Obama’s apparently considerable demonic energy may come back to the surface — and we may yet be dealing with more than just a bad presidency.

  30. Better print up a ton of ‘Buck Ofama’ bumper stickers so that individual Americans know they’re not alone.
