It will come some day, but in the NT Paul says the LOVE of money is the root of evil. Making it an Idol is the problem, not having it. As for religion, Jesus was none to keen on that either when Gods Commandments where used & twisted for human gain. Reread the windows mite in context. Hes mad at a system that forces a Women to give her last penny, hoping to gain. That too is familiar. Its called the prosperity Gospel.Making human law to bend Gods real design. Sound familiar. Giving, caring for the poor and helping God’s one true church spread his word through the world, is done from the heart and because it is the duty of his children to do so. We do it in love as God has loved us.
