  1. As time goes by I am feeling smarter and more prescient than ever. I saw this coming. The Muslim world is oh-so predictable yet the foreign affairs departments of the western world are clueless.
Islam will win if we don’t get smarter and tougher leadership in North America. It’s too late for Europe. They will be gone in one more generation.

  2. Probably the same ones who danced with great joy in the streets of Cairo to celebrate the murder of thousands in the 9/11 terror attacks.
Wonder if they’d dance much after a good carpet bombing?

  3. In similarly inspiring news:

“Columbia Students to Dine With Ahmadinejad
NEW YORK — A group of Columbia University students is expected to attend an upcoming private dinner with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who will be in New York City in September for the United Nations General Assembly, The Columbia Spectator reported.
Fifteen members of the Columbia International Relations Council and Association (CIRCA) were invited to the Sept. 21 event in Manhattan, the newspaper said. The students will dine and speak with Ahmadinejad and Columbia President Lee Bollinger, who introduced the Iranian leader as “a petty and cruel dictator” when he spoke on campus in 2007.
At the same 2007 event, Ahmadinejad lambasted Bollinger for what he called the “insults” and “unfriendly treatment” he endured from his host.”
Where is our Arab Spring gal, Brigette DePape who had called for “Stop Harper”, during the throne speech? The “Obama-Nation(tm)” isn’t doing any good so perhaps Ms DePape will save the day…
Hailing Ms. DePape, Ms. DePape, telephone call from Hosni Mubarak soliciting advice on how to manage the “Arab Spring” or perhaps it is the “Arab Winter”.

Maybe Ms. DePape can find safe passage for the 70 Israeli embassy staff…

  4. Places that need tactical airburst nuking, yesterday if possible: Sana’a, Mecca, Kandahar, Kabul, Mogadishu, Af’stan/Pakistan border in several locations. Suggestions welcome, help me out here.
Oh, and did I actually say Mecca? Yes – on 9/12/2001 if we can create a time machine.

  5. I think it was in the days or weeks of Glenn Beck’s show on Fox, he was predicting this would unfold essentially as it has, and if I remember it correctly, the worst with Egypt (and the Middle East) in respect to Israel is yet to come.
Virtually everything he said back then made sense. I was just hoping he would be wrong.

  6. I think it was in the last days or weeks of Glenn Beck’s show on Fox, he was predicting this would unfold essentially as it has, and if I remember it correctly, the worst with Egypt (and the Middle East) in respect to Israel is yet to come.

  7. A little late there Michael but I like the way you think….the US should have detonated one tactical nuke in each muslim country on 12 Sep 2001 with the promise of total destruction come the next attack.
And I can think of a few terrorist training centres…errr…I mean mosques in the US and Canada that need to be vaporized 😉

  8. That guy’s ‘proof’ of the ‘same guys’ is a link to DEBKA. May as well put in a link for birthers or truthers. I’ll take a pass on that BS.

  9. @libertariansaresmarter – wondering what’s the problem with DEBKA? Help a newb here.
@DVC185 – never too late for nukes IMO. They may well be needed before this is all over. The “Democratic Republic” of Korea should have gotten theirs years ago, ditto Iran.
People are horrified of nukes because, well – they’re so destructive! Yes dummies, they certainly are, that’s the whole idea. They could have saved 58,000 American and 3 million Vietnamese lives, they’re so destructive, but well – we know how *that* went: the war was lost and an enormous long-term campaign of Western demoralization succeeded and continues to succeed.

  10. Michael H Anderson: Debka has a reputation for making things up; this goes back a while. There are rumours that the site is linked to the Israeli government and is for the purposes of disseminating information that might not be true.
Over the years I’ve seen some pretty iffy info there but they seem to have cleaned up their act somewhat. Often the problem is that they’re the only ones reporting something and so there’s no way to know if it’s valid. This story is a case in point. libertariansaresmarter’s views are a bit strong but in this case, I agree that it’s not yet a fact. In checking around I found that all stories with this information, linked back to Debka. Caution is the watchword; I’d feel the same were it the New York Times.

  11. Hmm…as for me, I won’t dismiss information simply because it might have been generated by the Israeli government. On the contrary, I would tend to accept nearly anything they said; it offers a nice contrast to the insanity of the mainstream media, never mind the radical left.
And if it is being used as a rationale to kill Jihadis, I could care less if it’s the most transparent bare-faced in-your-teeth lie ever uttered.

  12. You nailed it Ken; and how could Erdogan, leader of a country that once ruled half of Europe (and enslaved some of my ancestors), miss out on that? Ah, the glory days of Suleiman!
Hopefully Mossad will nail that swine with a double-tap soon. Maybe DEBKA can write a nice story saying it was a kid with a BB gun. 😉

  13. “Those twittering “youth”, just want freedom and democracy like everyone else in the western world”.
They will burn, loot, rape and kill to get it, the Liberal utopian Arab Spring is in full bloom. Pelosi, Obamba and millions of hands off useful idiots on the left are collectively sipping champagne celebrating their moment of change at someone else’s expense on someone else’s dime.
“If you build it, they will come” – Indeed they will.

    @ Michael H Anderson September 13, 2011 12:20PM
Now that’s just crazy talk, you loons.

  15. Michael H Anderson: I’m not suggesting dismissing it, just that a single source on its own must not be taken as definitive.
If Debka is linked to the Israeli govt. it’s almost certainly not very official and there’ll be a lot of free-lancing.
On the other hand you’ll find that Israeli government statements are generally reliable. Democracies are more truthful than non-democracies* and democracies under fire as is Israel are very careful about what they say. (The old South Africa was in a similar position and I noticed on several occasions the care they took to be accurate on foreign policy matters.) Interestingly they all still BS their own people to some extent.
    * I was surprised at the extent of manipulation by Britain over the Lockerbie business. That shows that democracies are quite capable of lying at times and it might also be indicative of the decline of Britain.

  16. @Canuckguy – you betcha. Crazy enough to say what millions are thinking but scared $hitless to say. Who can blame them? Just ask Theo Van Gogh. Except, oops, he was murdered.
@greenmamba – well said about democracies (not counting, obviously, the Dhimmis among us like rabble.ca and the various scum under the tao.ca umbrella).

  17. We’re watching the rise of the Islamofacists’ Caliphate, and NATO is kind enough to help the soldiers of Alquacka.

  18. The amazing thing about all these western Islamic apologists is that they can walk, talk and at times even write, yet they do not have the mental capacity to understand that they are laying the groundwork to bring it all on themselves in the future.
It is coming to the west; in fact it’s already here. Wake up you idiots, and pay just a little attention to your own world quietly collapsing around you in increments. It’s a normal human condition to care for your own survival; in fact it’s the oldest natural instinct.
Islam is not interested in your cultural fetishes; it is not interested in your pseudo-intellectual arguments of what, who, why and where. It is only interested in conquest, subjugation and absolute submission. Nothing will dissuade Islam from this global course of action or protect western citizens in their own countries from Islamic terrorism unless Islam is singled out as the parasitic terror weapon that it is. Once acknowledged there needs to be an enforced apartheid of nations, deportations from the west and the subsequent banning of Islamic practices entirely from the west.
This is the reality of preserving western cultures, freedoms and liberties. Indeed the west needs to abandon all interests in Islamic countries and close the gates, save for limited civilized trade where and when it is needed.

  19. Should the excrement tragically hit the air conditioning, I for one will be cheering on the soldiers of Jihad as they line up the coffee-house leftists and gun them down for the dangerous radicals, Communists, atheists, intoxicant abusers and perverts they well and truly are. Just as in Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany, the useful idiots are always the first liquidated.
Of course, I’ll be among the next set at the execution wall, but I’ll have that small satisfaction.

  20. Knight 99, I agree. good old-fashioned isolationism is the cure for all this mess. They want the Neolithic, let them have the Neolithic.
Keep an iron umbrella over Israel though, just because foiling Nazi cavemen is the right thing to do.

Aye. But I think we’re all tired of saying ‘TOLD YOU SO’!

  22. Kevin, I have a nice wilderness campsite all picked out from which I can watch the world go to hell around me. They may get me in the end, but I’ll make them pay dearly for it.

  23. Michael H Anderson @ 2:07 “as they line up the coffee-house leftists”. This is exactly what happened in the Soviet Union after the Whites under Wrangel were defeated in 1920. All the useful idiot fellow travelers and moderate leftist political parties were done away with over the next few years. However the useful idiots in the west were encouraged and their contemporaries are still at work today.

  24. Ken, you don’t need to tell me. Unlike the average leftist, I know history. You might also know what happened to the SA leadership after Hitler took power. Here’s something for you leftards to digest:
“Politically speaking, the SA were more radical than the SS, with its leaders arguing the Nazi revolution had not ended when Hitler achieved power, but rather needed to implement socialism in Germany.”
    Guess what happened next! 🙂

  25. Ken (Kulak) >
    Including the Khmer Rouge.
Translated “Red Cambodians” the Cambodian communist party was founded on the philosophies of “Social engineering”, intent on creating an agrarian society i.e. back to nature movement. Sound familiar?
The first step was to kill the educated. So much so that they included people whether educated or not who wore eyeglasses because they represented the potential of intelligence or education.
The useful idiots, the latte’ lappers of our society have always been the stereotypical enablers then disposable pawns to history’s mass murdering cults. Nothing’s changed this time, except the fading promise of a harder battle against a mostly well armed, well fed, freedom loving population that generally understands how these things occur when left unchecked.

  26. Just to clarify: when I said “you leftards” I meant the idiot-child trolls that are surely lurking.
Where are those morons anyway? Passed out in their garrets? Have they given up (truly preposterous)? Been away for a while so not up on the latest at SDA.

  27. Michael H Anderson >
    “Where are those morons anyway?”
As the realities of Egypt & Libya unfold in the news lately, the trolls have slithered behind their rocks for awhile. Even they can’t cheap shot defend or ignore the in the face calls on the hypercritic and imbecilic comments they had made on earlier threads.
They’ll be back, crazy as ever soon enough with fresh garbage to spew, hoping someone bites.

  28. As time goes by I am feeling smarter and more prescient than ever. I saw this coming. The Muslim world is oh-so predictable yet the foreign affairs departments of the western world are clueless.
Foreign affairs offices are not clueless, they’re run by liberals who wish to focus on how it should be rather than how it will be

  29. @ esteemed SDAers, Michael H Anderson, Knight 99, Ken (Kulak): “Where are those morons anyway?”
Hence my call for Brigette DePape to lead the charge into the arms of the “Arab Spring”…
If Ernst Roehm,SA was leading the charge these comedians would willy nilly follow headlong off the precipice.
‘Many “storm troopers” were of working-class origins and had expected a socialist programme. In fact, it was often said at the time that members of the SA were like a beefsteak — “BROWN ON THE OUTSIDE, RED ON THE INSIDE.” They were now disappointed by the new regime’s lack of socialist direction and also failure to provide the lavish patronage expected. Röhm even publicly criticized Hitler for his failure to carry through the National Socialist revolution.’
As all later discover, “the Revolution always EATS ITS CHILDREN”….to wit we have G.K. Chesterton as below:
‘The pessimist is commonly spoken of as the man in revolt. He is not. Firstly, because it requires some cheerfulness to continue in revolt, and secondly, because pessimism appeals to the weaker side of everybody, and the pessimist, therefore, drives as roaring a trade as the publican. The person who is really in revolt is the optimist, who generally lives and dies in a desperate and suicidal effort to persuade all the other people how good they are. It has been proved a hundred times over that if you really wish to enrage people and make them angry, even unto death, the right way to do it is to tell them that they are all the sons of God.”

  30. Not for one micro second did I believe in an “Arab Spring”. This whole revolution stuf has been engenered by the MB in conjonction with Hezballah in most of these Countries. Turkey becoming an Islamic State is no accident either.
This war has been going on since 1949. Islam plans for a Muslim only World. They have for 1,400 years. Read the Koran!!!

  31. I have read the Koran. If the many and various human rights organizations weren’t a bunch of mealy-mouthed hypocrites, its publishers would be on trial worldwide as disseminators of hate literature.
Hans – concise and brilliant as always.
And yeah, I expect the trolls to return. I rather expect some of them are busy getting ready for the Vancouver Judaeophobia Society meeting we’re discussing here in another thread.

  32. The last link Kate had was much more informative and didn’t attract so many of these faux tough guys. The army is not willing to cede power or war with Israel. It’s very unstable, but we can probably expect that the army will rule much as before.

  33. The Egyptian military is the ine rational element in Egypt.
Very pragmatic, they realized that some adjustment was needed…the illiteracy and need to import food….and dearth of trade….Mubarack was probably regarded as reactionary and basically a coup was arranged.
The rank and file are aware that they lost the 1973 Yom Kippur War…despite propaganda to the contrary. The prospect of war with Isreal is not popular with them.
Notice that although “the mob” stormed and destroyed the Isreali Embassey…no Isreali personal were killed, injured or detained. They were likely given transport and massive covert security to Isreali territory.
Note that Isreal has consented to Eygptian force levels well in excess to those agreed by treaty in the Sinai. Isreal doesn’t want terrorists in the Sinai and the Eygptian military doesn’t want either war with Isreal or Isreali intervention in the Sinai either.
By the same token the MB doesn’t want to push their luck against the military…poorly armed amateurs versus against trained professionals.
The military seeks to APPEAR aloof and lets the MB make a bit of noise….

  34. @libertariansaresmarter – would you care to test your hypothesis regarding “these faux tough guys” in person?
    Egotistical dickhead.

  35. I beg your pardon libertariansaresmarter – let’s take a calm step back. I was so exercised by your dismissive attitude that I even answered you with an email address – genuine BTW if you want to take this offline. But let’s also look at what you said:
“It’s very unstable, but we can probably expect…”
Very unstable; probably. Your words. They do not exactly fill me with confidence. Thoughts?

  36. Ooops I guess I could have phrased that better. I meant to say that there could be some religious violence and weirdness in the short term but the army will still tamp it down. Sasquatch put it best.
