1. It’s all well and good to display this stuff, if you live in Buttf**k Saskatchewan. You should be able to see any real threat from a half mile away. The real test is going to be wearing a Mo T-shirt in downtown Toronto. That’s going to take some planning, and some willpower.

2. dp – real nice. Your statement says a whole lot more about Toronto than it does about Saskatchewan.

3. Kudos to Kate!
The exposure continues: blog Celestial Junk and Breitbart News “BigJournalism” also have posted the Muhammed Test.
Let’s hope this trend grows!
Maybe people could post their Web “sightings” of the Mo Test in the comments.
(Here’s the URLS.Can’t get them to work properly as hyperlinks:

a different bob and dp: yeah, it can be a bit of an inconvenience defending democratic freedoms. Maybe a compliment and thanks to Kate rather than dwelling on the blindingly obvious would be more constructive.

4. dp – I would hazard a guess there is a lot more butt f@#king going on in TO than Saskatchewan.

5. ‘You should be able to see any real threat from a half mile away.’
I remember that former LA kings coach, whose name escapes me, making a joke about Winnipeg that you could watch your dog run away for three days.

6. It may or may not be easier to post a picture of mohammed in Sask than Toronto but there is one thing that I do know, and that is the day after sharia law is declared in Toronto, there will be NO homosexuals n Toronto. They will suddenly cease to exist. They will NOT defy sharia law. They will be back in the closet.

7. Just had a retro moment there with that test pattern. I remember seeing that test pattern for many years but with the head of another PC incorrect figure. I imagine any network showing either pattern would be rapped and pillaged by all inclusive progressives and followers of the religion of peace.

8. So take that picture to a copy shop owned by a Religion of Peace type and order up 500 copies.
No doubt the proprietor would refuse and then the scenario is set for a human rights complaint.
After all, if a christian shop owner can be slammed for refusing to print invites for a gay wedding, why can’t a muslim shop owner be equally hassled by our human rights star courts?
Fair for the christian goose is just as a fair for the muslim gander.

9. If I get death threats for wearing that on a T-shirt in Toronto I can start carrying my Colt.45 and it’d be legal too.
Where do I get one of these on a T-shirt?

10. Fred, you’re a genius. But for good measure, find someone gay to do it. WASP types need not apply when it comes to the HRC’s.

11. “After all, if a christian shop owner can be slammed for refusing to print invites for a gay wedding, why can’t a Muslim shop owner be equally hassled by our human rights star courts?”
Brilliant,Fred! I have gay friends, now I’ll have to see if we have a Muslim owned print shop in town!

12. You are a brave woman Kate. Congratulations on your attempt to maintain a free press, something that none of the big town dailies-including the wimpy ones in Toronto- will do.

13. Is this a fit comment for this topic?
Pod Test.

Toronto Star”

14. Excellent, kate. And great point, Fred.
Muslims are going to have to come to terms with Others. They’ve been isolated for centuries in their pre-industrial world of a two-class sustenance economy and tribal hierarchies. They never developed any capacity for adapation, change, interaction with Other Peoples.
Then they moved into a dysfunctional industrialism where no middle class developed, and thus, no entrepreneurship, no individualism, no freedom of thought…all the old tribal hierarchies kept in place by money-from-oil.
With globalism and the electronic world they are now having to confront Others. Their reaction? An attempt to retreat several centuries into a pre-industrial world, the old world of static tribes and static hierarchies. They’re using force, military and religious, to carry out this retreat.
After all, the burqa, the veil, the hijab..are recent rules and show how this attempt to deny the reality of modern industrialism is being met by a forced retreat, a refusal to allow a middle class to emerge.
The middle class takes power from the old tribal hierarchies; it gets the political, economic and social power. The Muslim states are fighting to prevent the development of a middle class in their countries.
An example of this fight, apart from Al Qaeda and the Taliban..who won briefly and moved the population into a pre-industrial rigid lifestyle..is Iran. Iran’s population fought the corrupt results of the recent elections; they wanted a middle class system; they wanted democracy.
What did Obama do? He utterly and totally ignored them. What he ought to have done was to have voiced support for their struggle. But he ignored them.
Just as he ignores the real fight in the ME, which is about a tribal system versus a civic system, a two-class structure vs a three-class structure that has a middle class.

15. Well now, maybe if we all wore a T-shirt with the Prophet Muhammed on it the Muslims would see the foolishness of their death threats on the Infidel populace.
I have a dream !!!!

16. I think all those .45 Caliber cartoons are having some impact.
If we drown them with comical disrespect and laughter, they will not know who to hit back at first and may either go home to their abattoirs or (unlikely but) may develop an ability laugh and normalize somewhat to civil culture.

17. This should’ve been done years ago shortly after the cartoon incident. Nobody had the balls.

18.
I’m old enough to have seen those old test patterns on our B&W tv…
Chris Muir
But your memory is flawed.. the Old Test Pattern
had an “Indian” in the Center..It’s a Vert/Horiz resolution Chart..

19. >>watch your dog run away for three days
The way I heard it was that you could watch your wife run away for three days. (sitting on the porch quaffing a brew) 🙂

20. Excellent Test Pattern photoshop Kate. I wish my pea brain would have thought of something like that!
I remember the test pattern with the wooden Indian guy wavering and dimming on our TV ‘set up’ in the Cypress Hills. Dad set up an antenna that he could move around to pick up different stations – we often watched Montana channels – but the test pattern guy was the most usual vision on that TV. We didn’t have electricity until 1958 so we made huge leaps into technology at our place in a few short years. My dad and his best friend had our telephones connected via a barbed wire fence (20 miles!) and we had a more ‘local’ party line (40 square miles) connected in the same manner (barbed wire) but my dad’s best friend had a line to town so lots of phone calls to our place were relays to town. Interesting times – there were no Islamics to worry about; when I remember those days – ‘peace of mind’ comes to mind. The riotous east/middle east was on the pages of National Geographic and in Rudyard Kipling’s books.

21. The original people who suggested the Draw Mohammed day have backed off
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2010/04/creators-of-everybody-draw-muhammad-day-abandon-effort-after-it-becomes-controversial.html
But that’s irrelevant. That often happens when a ‘seed’ is planted and it takes off on its own.
I think the idea is important and must be continued. Why?
Because Islam has got to accept Others in this global world. It cannot continue to insist that it and it alone is the Only True Belief system.
Its belief system, with its sharia laws, is dysfunctional and hostile to the modern industrial world. It rejects freedom, it rejects individualism, it rejects reason, it rejects science, it rejects entrepreneurship. That means that it rejects a middle class and a civic and democratic political system.
Instead, it is collectivist, denying individual questions, reasoning, thinking, individual freedom to explore and analyze. Instead, its belief system is frozen; there is no capacity to analyze the external world and the political world. You live in a societal two-class system with a Set of Inviolate Masters that you cannot doubt or question.
Note that this system which denies thought means that the Islamic world is unable to innovate technology and science. ALL their technology, from medicines, cars, oil processing, computers to guns and rockets, comes from the West. They are totally unable to innovate any technology or science because they forbid individual thought.
Such a perspective is hardly one to admire. So, it must be rejected. Since the Islamic fascist intends that we in the West MUST accept his beliefs, then, we must fight back. Both actually when their choice of attack is violence and by laughter and mockery at all other times.
We developed our mode of life, which is focused around the individual freedom to think, and we reject their collectivism and their subhuman rejection of reason and thought.

22. The Simpson’s last night had Bart writing —“‘South Park – we’d stand beside you if we weren’t so scared’.”

23. “Fred, you’re a genius. ”
Kate, I think not. However I am inspired to come here every day to be inspired.
Many thnx . . .

24. For me, the clincher against mohammedanism is their apostasy law. It is the equivalent of the Berlin Wall, ie. if you try to escape, we will shoot you. Any belief system that forbids people to leave it under threat of death is evil.

25. ” A Camel lager for me and a high chair for my wife” ROTFLMFAO!! Classic Henny Youngman

26. A&W franchises have come out in a big way to defend SouthPark. I was in one today that had a wall mural of Mohammed in his Pedo-Bear outfit with little Aisha a few paces behind him walking into a lovely sunset. Framed photos of the Islamic sacred couple adorn all the walls too. Kudos to A&W for sticking its neck out and sticking it to supremacist Islam.

27. I believe the Western Standard carried the cartoon picture of Mohammad. For a certain time, there were t-shirts with Ecce Homo and a Mater Dolorosa on them, and they didn’t offend me, because I don’t think they were meant to, they were a statement of belief, or at worst, for the artistic value.

28. larben -the Western Standard had several pictures of Mohammad, all funny and all were seen by thousands of people.

29. I agree with you ET, but I think we need to get rid of some of the stinking laws and sections of the human rights codes we have in our own country so we can mock Islam with impunity and not be called out by our own citizens, government, and tribunals who have been brainwashed into by a cultural competency gone wild belief system.
It’s hard enough trying to prevent sharia law and attacks from radical Islam and other suppressive groups when your own government seems to be stacking the cards in their favour.
Strategy and timing is everything.

So your saying Matt & Trey raped Southpark?

31. Revnant Dream – I don’t know what you are referring to? What do you mean by raped? All I was saying is that I think there was some manipulation by the media with all the hype beforehand. Then came the death threats. They insisted they were going to do the big reveal anyway which was anti-climatical. Everyone then got upset about it. There was speculation that Matt and Trey were hiding behind Comedy Central and others who thought it was entirely Comedy Central. I have no way of knowing if they had to change the episode or not. It turned out badly Fundamentalist Islam 1 – Free Speech 0. It just seemed to me that the way things turned out was a little too serendipitous for my liking. I felt like I had been set up or punked. I don’t watch mush South Park – have watched a hanful of episodes – I thought they were quite funny – just a little to crude for me. I have since discovered that they hate liberals – I was suprised most of the the few (20 or so) episodes I did see were conservative bashing ones. I loved the one about the smoking – the Tiger Woods one was good, I even thought the Glen Beck one was funny. I just want to know what was up is all -it’s like a strange convergence of events occured just prior to the airing that makes me suspicious of the socialist propoganda machine at work – if more tv shows end up being about this very thing by “coincidence” within the next week then I will know I was right about the socialist propagnda machine setting us all up to respond in a certain way. If anything, I think Matt and Trey were used.
