   I disagree with including Oprah. Although I do not like her soft politics, the US is far better off having her on air rather than a Jerry Springer or a Howard Sternbag.

    I’ve never heard Oprah sing the praises of Canada’s health care system, but I’m sure that’s only because I haven’t been exposed to 5 minutes, total, of her toxic BS in my lifetime.

12. Odd, I’ve never watched Oprah, I’ve had about as much exposure to her as Hershblogger has (due to channel-surfing). Weirder yet, I don’t know anyone who watches her regularly (regularly being defined as ‘deliberately changing the channel to watch her show at least once in a while).
    Who does watch that show?

    It’s quite pathetic when the best that one can say of anyone is, Well, at lest she’s not Jerry Springer.

16. I don’t have a problem with either. Oprah must be rich for a reason. Stewart is a capitalist hero. Instead of a long and (media)protracted tear shower… she did her time A.S.A.P, got the hell out, and went back to work to minimize damage to her shareholders. There are not a lot of celebrities like that around.
    How did she ever get jail time anyway? Sent michael moore there first…
