  1. Both of those were great. The Petersens version became much more interesting when the banjo started playing and was a lot of fun. The Enya one? Wow…what a pure, controlled voice…

    1. Fully agree!

I’m endlessly puzzled by some in Canada deeply hate Tamara Lich and Chris Barber. I consider them both heroes. Why? Because their actions directly related to the Covid tyranny quickly coming to an end.

But some clearly have a very negative view about Lich and Barber. What precisely did they do to deserve such antipahy? Is it because these folks have now been revealed to have been completely wrong about EVERYTHING related to Covid, but are in denial about how wrong they were, so need to keep up the hatred to somehow prove they weren’t wrong?!?

      1. They’re not in denial.
Lefty’s want everybody to do what Big Government demands.
You’re an enemy if you don’t fall in line.
Its double plus good to hate your enemy.

        We are way out-numbered.

Robert, it ain’t rocket surgery. It’s because they’re going against the [spit] Prog narrative. Damn them!

      3. Your average Kanadian pines for East Germany. A magical place where there was lots of free stuff, the government did all your thinking and had a snitch line to report anyone practising freedom.

  2. Wonder why nuclear electricity is so expensive? Save the fishes: “Hinkley Point C will have more fish protection measures than any other power station in the world. It has spent £700 million on their design and implementation … these measures would save 0.083 salmon per year, along with 0.028 sea trout, 6 river lamprey, 18 Allis shad, and 528 twaite shad”. And who thinks caviar is expensive? https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/692080f75c394e481336ab89/nuclear-regulatory-review-2025.pdf

    1. Later she gets into the issue of warmongerers in the deep state trying to undermine Trump’s peace efforts re the Ukraine war.

      1. Trump’s peace efforts? You must mean to say Trump’s collaboration with the enemy. Trump beats Ukraine into submission and Trump’s friends and family get rich devouring the corpse along with his butt buddy Putin. Trump and crew get billions and Russia gets to satisfy their age old fantasy of killing Ukrainians by the million.

        1. I can’t begin to itemize how completely misguided and wrong you are with every single thing you just wrote. Wow! If I ever need stock advice or even the answer to “2 + 2”, I hope I remember to stay clear of you.

        2. I get your point to some degree.
Its at the very least an odd way to do diplomacy.

          From the WSJ:
“He (Witcoff) likes to tell skeptical Ukrainians that once they settle, he could unlock $800 billion in reconstruction money—a flood of investments four times the Marshall plan—according to European officials who have been in the room with him. It is the kind of boastful big numbers, mixed with a make-money-not-war philosophy, that has endeared him to his boss, a friend of four decades. ”

          Its paywalled.

          1. I think it’s Trump and his team believing that Ukraine is not going to gain back the territory lost in the west so the carrot being offered is money to rebuild the part of the Ukraine that remains.

    2. Tulsi Gabbard’s Flip-Flop on Warrantless Searches

When she was a member of the House of Representatives, Tulsi Gabbard fiercely defended personal privacy rights protected by the Fourth Amendment. She consistently opposed permitting federal agents to spy on Americans without search warrants and voted against the reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978.

Last week, Ms. Gabbard, who is about to be nominated as the Director of National Intelligence—the head of all known American spying agencies—changed her mind on Section 702 and no longer believes that the Constitution means what it says.

      1. I see the words Gabbard “changed her mind” but nowhere in the story does it actually show what she said. Try harder please.

  3. Peter Menzies, a media watchdog, reminds us of Finland’s “anti-hate” law:
    https://petermenzies.substack.com/p/religion-on-trial-what-could-happen?utm_medium=web&triedRedirect=true

Currently in Finland, three evangelical Christians have faced a charge of wilful hatred for publishing a pamphlet against LBGTPed activities. A series of court hearings vindicated the three church leaders — so the federal government appealed the verdicts all the way to the supreme court in order to secure a conviction. The trial was heard, and the three are awaiting the final verdict.

This is the type of religious persecution the Bloc and the Liberals are aiming for.
