  9. I heard this on my local go-to HS radio station KVHS on my drive to Home Depot for another 10 bags of Mortar for the used brick entry walk and porch that I’ve been building. I’ve scavenged these really varied and interesting bricks from multiple past projects … including some really unique sand cast bricks that are wildly different from the typical wire cut bricks. But they all have nice age and ‘character’. Varied textures and colors. Yeah … it’s turning out REALLY nice … a diagonal basket weave with soldier course edging. Lots of diagonal cutting on my huge Rubi wet saw … Facepalm.

    1. Fun fact: While I had heard of “Family Guy” before, I only started watching it a few months ago. I love the fact that it’s set in Rhode Island, where I now have some deep connections. IMO the Rhode Island accent is a milder version of the Boston accent. So, for example, when the wife, Lois, says her husband’s name, she doesn’t say “Peter” (as you or I would pronounce it). Rather, she says “Peet-tar”. I find this adorable.
