I am waiting for my green card to be processed. I am terrified of moving, especially now that my husband has died and my income is pensions in Canadian dollars. However as a Jew in Canada the levels of hatred I feel is terrifying. Many members of my family are also packing a bag and thinking about moving. My daughter is off to Oklahoma next month to scout opportunities. And Carney appoint two open HAMAS sympathizers to his anti Semitism board which has yet to have even a single meeting. When I have brought this up I get one of three responses. 1) Don’t let the door hit you in ass on your way out. 2) What do you expect given the genocide in Gaza. 3) You should stay in Canada and fight for Canada. It’s not that bad.
