The Bubblewrap Nation of Canada

Since Canadian soldiers landed on June Beach on June 6, 1944, too many in the country have exchanged bravery & legitimate pride for cowardice and a rainbow variety of unwarranted pride.

The Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) has just released a new document entitled Safety Above ALL. In German, this would be: Sicherheit Über Alles. Or one might infer that the Canadian government is insisting that Safety Will Set You Free!

The CCF is suing Nova Scotia.

  1. In all fairness to an accurate historical event, the Canadian Subjects of the Crown were CONSCRIPTED into service as cannon fodder whether they liked it or not by a foreign Monarch. Did these men and women serve honorably and with great courage…yes. Were they there on their own volition…absolutely no.

Canada needs to be truly free and needs to chart its own course as a representative republic. Canadians need to be free sovereign Citizens, and not colonial Subjects on a leash.

    1. Well, not many conscripts saw combat in WWI or WWII. The overwhelming majority were volunteers.

      1. Wrong, and manifests a terrible common symptom of the pathetic Canadian Identity Syndrome.

        1. GFY, you a$$hat. The vast majority of fighting troops were volunteers. The vast majority of conscripts never even got close to the front. That is a historical fact and you saying the contrary proves your pig ignorance.

          1. Subservient obedient Canadians are excellent excuse makers when covering up the truth and their weaknesses.

        2. “Only 2,463 Canadian conscripts reached combat units in Europe during World War II, and out of these, 69 died. Most conscripts were not deployed to the front lines, leading to significant resentment among volunteers who faced greater risks.”

      2. volunteers? well there sure as feces not a whole lot of kaybeckers in that category.
and if l recall my high school history an attempt to shanghi the frogs kinda blew up

      1. You sir, seem to have been released from the disease known as the Canadian Identity Syndrome. Your future is bright and you are a great Canadian!

  2. You don’t need bubble-wrap if you’re tied to a tree. Hope I’m not giving anyone ideas.

  3. Grok says 16000 conscripts vs. a million volunteers fought in WW2. Don’t know why but I had it in my head the number of conscripts was much higher. Learned something today.

  4. My Dad and Uncles all signed up voluntarily the moment war broke out in 1939. One uncle served with armored division in North Africa, Sciliy, Italy, Juno, Holland, and all the way to Duechland.
