      1. Indeed. Dear Jeffery appears (at least from the emails) to not have been able to powder his nose without consulting Lord Mandelson first. For his part, Lord Mandelson appears to have been quite intimate with Jeffery.
         Considering who Mandelson is in British politics — and by the way, the influence he has had behind the scenes in Canadian politics (Harper and CPTPP agreement? Mandelson advised Carney when he was governor of the Bank of England).
