National Post- ‘Your suffering doesn’t matter’: Harvard psychologist tackles Jews’ ‘traumatic invalidation’
That concept is traumatic invalidation. I realized that for Jewish people right now, there is a compound trauma effect, where a lot of us are still feeling the stress of the war, and worried about our loved ones at home, and carry the secondary trauma from October 7, from seeing those horrific pictures and all the horrors, but also the response that we’re getting from the environment around us.
The concept of traumatic invalidation is when someone is denying your pain, or focusing on the other side. Basically, controlling the narrative, ignoring you, not paying attention to your own thoughts, or telling you what to feel or how to act. I didn’t invent the concept of traumatic invalidation. It’s a known phenomenon in the trauma world, but no one ever applied it to the Jewish community, which is basically what I did in the research.
Canada has made it very clear it does not want Jews. We are back to “None is Too Many” days. I wish it were possible to get out faster.
People have been hiding their hatred of Jews since it became passe at the end of WWII.
Except for the Muslims.
Now Islam has developed some very talented PR people who have made baby murder acceptable.
All while rewriting history.
And out of the closet come the Progs and nobody hates better than them.

I think it is important to point out that “Official Canada” and their bought-and-paid-for media is pursuing Moose Limb votes by offering vast disrespect to Jews. Who have been here a f- of a lot longer than the Moose Limbs, by the way.
Not to put too fine a point on it, most of us would not cross the street to p1ss on Offical Canada if they were on fire.
As well, I should mention that all the “Jews For Palestine” (and gays for Palestine, and trans for Palestine, and Anglicans for Palestine… ad nauseam) we see mentioned so prominently in the bought-and-paid-for media are paid AstroTurf.
Therefore I encourage y’all Jewish Canadians to do what the rest of us Canadians are doing. Ignoring the media and making sure all our crap is ready for hockey season.
Why should any Jew support Canada? This crap has been going on outright and government supported since Oct 7th. Synagogues firebombed, schools shot up, hospitals shot up, HAMAS supporters walking the streets openly calling for genocide of Jews. Where has the outrage been? Crickets. Where have ordinary Canadians stood up for Jews? Look what just happened in Montreal. Where were the ordinary Canadians leaping up to protect a Jew being attacked? We have been living Canadians causing us traumatic invalidation literally every single day. Nope. My Jewish wife and I are out of here as fast as we can make arrangements to leave.
And we’re ready to leave everything and be out of here in a few hours if it comes to that. Our suitcases are packed.
We all prepare for hockey season in our own way. Tickets to an away-game is an excellent idea.
Reading that made me very sad.
